When I'm in Firefox and try to forward an email in aol email I cannot access my contact list when I click on the to/bcc/cc . When I use Internet Explorer I have no problem accessing my contact list at all.
First make sure Settings > Facebook > Contacts is turned off. Tis might be different from what you described in your question.
Then open your Contacts app and check carefully what is there for your son and grand daughter's contact info. Correct if necessary. -
as stated, I am unable to view some videos in Firefox, but I am able to view them when I use Internet Explorer. How can I view all videos when using Firefox. Thank you.
That is Flash.
You do have the Flash player installed according to your More system details list, so Flash should be working.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

On a single Windows 2012 R2 server I have installed SQL 2012 and SharePoint 2013 SP1 with the latest update roll ups. When I remote desktop to the server using the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using
Internet Explorer, I'm able to see newsfeeds and document libraries.
If I connected to a separate Windows 7 machine as the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using Internet Explorer, I'm able to view the SharePoint pages except I cannot see any newsfeeds or document libraries.
There's just blank space where they should be. I have repeated this process on several other machines that are not the server and get the same result on every machine (I've tried other servers, desktops, adding the SharePoint site to the trusted sites list
in IE, even using firefox). I'm using the same account as I did when I logged onto the server directly. Any thoughts as to what's going on?
Thanks! Thanks for the idea, Harsh. What am I looking for?
It is currently set to the default of http://server_name and http://server_name:port_number (the latter is for Central Admin).
When I have access to the server, I have always done so the same way, using http://server_name. This was true when I access it from the desktop of the server itself and when I tried to access it from other desktops and servers (the machines where I had the
issues with the libraries and feeds not showing up). Are there other values I should add?
I have not tried to add http://server_FQDN as we don't plan on using that to access it but if you think it will help I would be happy to add it. -
Using Firefox, I updated my website yesterday. When viewed using Yahoo in Firefox, the older, previous version of my website was displayed.
It is now over 24 hours since my update, but Yahoo in Firefox still displays the out of date website.
This does not happen when the website is viewed using Internet Explorer - Internet Explorer started to show the updated version immediately... Why hasn't Firefox?Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

So in Firefox, my mouse doesn't operate for the above. Nor can I click on certain links when in Firefox but in Internet Explorer the mouse functions fine. I Like firefox better than IE but is currently uninstalled. This problem started after I chaged anti-virus software.
Recently both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

I play scrabble with a friend on Lexulus, when she has made a play
I get an e-mail on AOL with a link to Lexulus. That link takes me to the site and the game but the board doesn't show. On internet explorer it does.I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

On some emails and websites phone numbers appear for a second or two and then disappear. If I reload the email or website, the number again appears for a second or two and then disappears. This doesn't happen when I open that same email or website in Internet Explorer.
Do you have Skype installed, I have seen similar reports about Skype causing this. Skype include a "number highlighting" option, and it may be malfunctioning and hiding the numbers instead of highlighting them. If you have Skype, try turning this feature off - http://blog.calcoastwebdesign.com/2008/11/how-to-disable-number-highlighting.html
If that does not help, try the procedure in the [[troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article, this is likely to be caused by an extension/theme issue. -
Yahoo says it's a browser-related problem. It's happening on two different computers.
Thanks, but that was the first thing I tried with the Yahoo help line person, and it didn't work. I think it's significant that it's happening on two different computers, my desktop and my netbook. It doesn't happen with Internet Explorer on either computer. Just now I had trouble getting the e-mail text to come up using Foxfire, so I tried going to the Sent folder and trying to bring up one of those files, but it didn't come up either. Then I tried another file from the Sent folder and it came up, so then I went back to the Inbox folder and the e-mail I was trying to open appeared in full.

I understand that if I go to "File" and then to "Import" I should be able to somehow get all my previous files that where with the Internet Explorer browser relocated to the Mazilla browser...but I don't know how to do that. Give me detailed help please.
It did merge them after a fashion, glad I took a backup first even if I did only perhaps create 3 or 4 bookmarks today. So if I have bookmark separators, it's going to figure out which group to put them in (no way). Anyway I thought they would just go down to the bottom of the bookmarks menu like the other method, like when I export and import bookmarks in Firefox where they do go to the end of the Bookmarks Menu folder and would simply delete one folder.
Anyway this would not be typical because I don't want any bookmarks from IE. -

Hi grdy83,
What are your cookie settings?
*[[Enable and disable cookies that websites use to track your preferences]]
*[[Permissions Manager - Give certain websites the ability to store passwords, set cookies and more]]
You can delete all history when you exit Firefox, but it seems odd that a secure page that should expire is still accessible. It may be a timed expiration, but check the third party cookie settings to make sure it is not allowed to be saved.
I hope this helps prevent this from happening again. -
I read many financial documents during the day. I sometimes print only a selected segment of an article or a financial statement. When I print selected only, the top line or 2 lines is omitted from the print document. It does not happen in explorer.
I used Firefox for years, and this just started in the last 3 weeks or so. I can get around it by just selecting 2 lines above what I want to print. But, it is annoying.* [[Printing a web page]]

Check and tell if its working. -
I'm using a PC with Windows 7 OS.
Hi Marcos140,
I would like to help, but is very hard to diagnose with so little information...
Do you know why you needed the bridge in the first place?
Is your laptop connecting via wireless or a wired connection?
Please try this:
#Click start
#Type cmd
# Push Enter
#A black box will open
# type in "ipconfig /all"
# Screenshot the output
# type "ping google.com"
# Screenshot
If you can post the output of those commands it will help.
Thanks,
Curtis -

The server clock on a website I use to make t-times (FORETEES) is 5 hours behind the current correct time. The time has always been correct until this morning. It is necessary for the server clock on this web site to be the same as my current time. I used IE to get into the FORETEES web site and the clock was correct on the FORETEES web site. What happened between yesterday and today on the Foxfire servers...
