I thought this was strange so I called Amex and they saw it when they went online and they said it was my iPad that had been hacked. Is there an app to protect my iPad when I am online with sensitive information?
I located some suggestions for flushing the cache.
There are really three ways you can flush the DNS cache on your iPad.
1) Simply turn the iPad off and on again using the power button. A simple reboot will go a long way.
2) Turning on Airplane mode and then turning it off again will also clear the DNS cache and should be enough to fix the problem. Tap on your Settings icon, then swipe Airplane mode to On and then back off. Since Airplane mode disables the wireless features of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to comply with airline regulations, this will generally do the trick.
The third method would reset all your network settings and I'm pretty sure you don't want to do that right now.

Firefox will frequently (but not always) lock up (i.e., I must use the Task Manager to terminate the process) when initially accessing the American Express web site; or when clicking on the "recent activity" link; or when clicking the "Log Out" link. SAFARI CRASH ON AMERICAN EXPRESS WEB SITE
Suddenly about 7 months ago, when I click the "print payment confirmation" button, the page shows up ready to print and then SAFARI crashes. I'm unable to send the alert to Apple, even after I've opened SAFARI again. American Express can't help me. I don't know if this has anything to do with "Empty Cache", which I do often. ARGH.... I can do "Grab" but am unable to get the offical page. Any ideas anyone? iMac OSX 10.5.8, Safari 5.0.6
Your version of Safari may be too old to work with that site. It's certainly too old for Apple to accept bug reports. Try another browser, such as Firefox.

I was recently asked for a password for an email on the App store. The email was very old and was one that was hacked so I removed it from my email list. Email size limits are imposed by mail providers, not the operating system. They usually vary in the 20-25 MB range.
The limit is for an individual email plus any attachments it may have. The only way to release that email message is to reduce the size of the attachment if you can do so. The limitation itself is from your email provider so there isn't anything you can do to change the limit. -
I have problems saving pdf files in the web when I use Safari. I don't have this problem with firefox.
do they save ok if Safari - Preferences - Security - Allow all other plug-ins is unchecked ?

The 2009 iMaccan take 8 GB ram, while it should run ok with 4 it might be a rather inexpensive test to put in 8 and see if that clears up the problems. Mavericks is going to use almost 2 GB itself so, unless you are opening a lot of applications, you should get by with 4 GB. But I would go for 8 and see how it does.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

When I use safari I can't get the tabs feature to work and when other window open in safari and you go to close one they all close down and then the message is The application Safari quit unexpectedley.
Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.

SRM is a procurement system from SAP which we use to purchase goods and service. We have external catalogs like officemax, cdw etc which we punchout the items and bring it to SRM for ordering.
When we use firefox version 3.5 and below the items which we add from the Catalogs are correctly brought back to SRM for us to order. But when we use versions 3.6.12 the items are not brought back to SRM.
Internet Explorer 7 and 8 works fine. Is there anyway you can help us.

Firstly I would suggest you to upgrade your database from Oracle Release 11.2.0.1.0 to Oracle Release 11.2.0.2 . This is the recommended Oracle 11g database version for SAP solutions. Many of your problem will get resolved with it.

So my first question would be is there any other suggestions besides adjusting the mentioned parameter above in order to ensure that no work processors going into hang state due to RFCs' occupying it as this issue always happens at the end of the month only when there are massive users accessing it.
For immediate resolution the approach you have followed is correct viz limiting number of dialog processes for RFC. Secondly you need to analyze why RFC processing takes so much time. You need check which programs are getting executed by those RFC.

My second question is what went wrong with the libttsh11.so file. How could it be 0 size in PRD when no signs of changes had happen to the PRD system. Is this a proven Oracle Bug or something else since I have never encountered anything like this before.
The libttsh11.so library cannot be found in the related directory.
Cause
The file system is mounted using CIO option, but per Note 257338.1 Direct I/O (DIO) and Concurrent I/O (CIO) on AIX 5L, an ORACLE_HOME on a filesystem mounted with "cio" option is not supported.
Such a configuration will cause, installation, relinking and other unexpected problems.
Solution
Disable the CIO option on the filesystem.

When using safari, media such as mp4, as a web mail attachment (yahoo) is not opening in QuickTime . File association is broken.
If I use the mail application the attachment opens and I see the QuickTime logo on the attachment.
When using the web mail yahoo the attachment, an mp4 audio, opens a black page with a crossed triangle icon in the middle of the page.
Any solution ?
Thanks .There's two ways you can deploy your aspx (layout) files. One is deploy in _Layouts folder (which basically copy the file in (c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\15\template\layouts). To copy file in that place, you don't
need module, just use SharePoint mapped folder.
Another way is to upload the layout folder in SharePoint library. But _catalogs is not the right place to upload your file (_catalogs doesn't have any subfolder named 'layouts'). You can upload your file in 'Pages' library or 'site pages' library in the
current web.
I'm not quite sure though (sorry I didn't get what the problem is but just guessed you are trying to get your aspx page in SharePoint designer, not sure why) why you need to upload the file in pages/site pages library instead of '_layouts' folder.

So that is a mystery. However the part about:
Go back to System Preferences > Network
Make sure the box is selected next to: Show Wi-Fi status i menu bar. Solved the problem. Somehow the box had been unchecked. Gremlins I guess!
