Well, there's the problem... iDevices cannot sync with multiple computers.
The device and iTunes are doing exactly what they are designed to do.
Did all the apps on the device come from your friends computer? If so, there is no way to sync with your computer and maintain the apps that do not belong to you.

my wife gave me her old 2nd gen ipod touch when she got a new one. she cleared off all the data and did a factory reset. a couple of weeks goes by and my apps keeps force closing on me. its getting really annoying escpecially when i try to play games or go on facebook. i checked for updates and its has the latest 4.2.1. its not a space issue either; i have 6.83 gigs left. i really dont want to do a restore...can anyone give me any tips or advice on what to do about this problem?

A restart does nothing to the data. Try this first.
A reset does nothing to the data. Try this if restarting does not help.
If restart and restore do not solve it then restore from backup.
If that fails then restore as new.

Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.

Either sync less or delete some media from your iPod. You are trying to sync mor that 3.1 GB to the iPod.

where on my computer am I suppose to make the individual picture files and have them to upload on my ipod touch.... I do have a photo library on my computer, but in the photo tab in itunes for the ipod touch and there is nothing checked for syncing, cause when I do check it it always says its going to replace everything i have in my photo library on my ipod touch..... You need iTunes version 10.7 for iOS 6. That requires and OSX 10.6 and that requires an Intel Mac

I've tried all the usual stuff.

Go to Settings > General > Usage and see how much is shown available and how much is in "Other".
