When i watch youtube videos my screen goes blury and i cant see what they are doing. Any solutions?

Does any one know a suloution?

Sounds a bit like a hardware problem, faulty RAM in particular. Run the Hardware Test (see http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303605) which is either on a separate CD/DVD or on the install disk 1:
- Make sure that no peripheral devices (printer, keyboard, mouse,...) are attached to the computer.
- Insert the disk and reboot while holding down the "D"-key on the Macbook's keyboard.
- Run the tests (also try the extended one if the other doesn't find any errors)
If the test finds an error report back to Apple with the error number. If the computer is still under warranty, they should organize a repair.
Hope that helps
Daniel

  • What can i do when my ipod screen goes white and i cant see anything?

Please! Somebody give me some advice on what to do when my ipod is white and i cant see anything? i can listen to music but i cant see what i am listening to?

If none of the usual 5 R's of troubleshooting do any good, you'll need to have the iPod either serviced or replaced as the LCD screen or ribbon cable is damaged or faulty.

  • When watching youtube videos, the screen continually pauses and then restarts, very frustrating.

    ?????

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

  • Hello my MacBook is crashing when I watch Youtube videos. Safari and Flash Player are updated.

    Hello,
My MacBook is crashing when I watch Youtube videos. Safari and Flash Player are updated.
    What is the problem?
It will be necessary to take him on a technical assistance?
    thank you

Have you tried an alternate browser to see if the same issue happens? Try Firefox or Chrome. Chrome has Flash embedded in it, so if it doesn't work, it's probably not a Flash issue. FIrefox is at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and Chrome is at https://www.google.com/chrome .
Another thing to try is to sign up for HTML5 video from Youtube. See http://www.youtube.com/html5

Let's first try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

    (Apologies for butting in wiclee.)
The effect is usually caused by trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system. Unfortunately it's a bit trickier to deal with on Windows 7 systems than Vista or XP. (The "Vortical" instructions which can fix it for almost all folks on Vista and XP aren't applicable to Windows 7.)
Try having a look through the following (unfortunately very long) topic. It contains a lot of information on the Windows 7 variants of this, and possible methods for fixing the various Segoe UI-related issues that might be in play:

    Hello 23435,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that your iPhone was knocked out of your hand and now it displays blue and black colors on the display. It does sound like this iPhone may need to be evaluated for service. If you would like more information about this process, please refer to the attached web link below.

  • Experiencing resolution glitches when watching Youtube videos. Screen will glitch out, strange shift in screen orientation, as well as total resolution failure. Any wisdom on how to overcome this?

I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011, and am currently at 69 GB free on the 400 GB space. When I play Youtube Videos or visit websites which stream video, as well as when I run certain high graphics applications (games particularly), the resolution will just crash.
I have read a bit about this online, and have found that it has to do with the CPU and GPU being under heavy load. I think it's a bit silly that the Macbook Pro can't handle a Youtube video, however, so I hope that I may be able to remedy the problem.
    Thanks for the help.

Flash Player is 'embedded' into Chrome - and sometimes that's not a good thing. Right now Chrome has the largest market share in the browser wars, though, so I suppose they've some success with the embedding of the player.
Personally, I use Firefox and have had no problems. Safari is good, I just prefer the support of Firefox (which doesn't work with some other Adobe plugin for inline PDF viewing, though).
I don't know why you're having trouble with Chrome - it is very graphics intensive, I know, and has 'broken' in the past with some GPUs. I'd just make sure that you've the latest version of Chrome and if you still have problems, just use Safari or Firefox.

  • Watching YouTube video full screen while working in other monitor

So after upgrading to Mavericks when I have a Chrome browser window with a youtube vidoe loaded and I click to watch fullscreen my other monitor is taken over with a grayed out background. Quicktime started doing this awhile back, and Vimeo used to do it in Mountain Lion when it was embeded in another site, but if I went to Vimeo.com to watch a video this didn't happen. How do I change this?
FYI, I have all Mission Control / Spaces options unchecked as I don't use that and don't want multiple Menu bars and whatnot.

Hi, I just re-read you previous post.
    You said,
Im using Google Chrome latest version and my mac is a mid 2011 mac book pro running max os x 10.8.5
I presumed that you were using OS X 10.9.x as we are in the Mavericks (10.9) forum area, not the Mountain Lion (10.8) forum area.
    This changes things a little.
In Mountain Lion, Apple's implementation for multiple displays is a little different to Mavericks, where both displays share the same 'space' so it is an extended display setup. Mavericks allows each display to have its own space, thereby allowing each dislay to act independantly of each other. This is where I did my brief test.
Due to Mountain Lion's limitation, I think what you are seing is expected behaviour. Any Full Screen app will result in the other display to be greyed out.

  • Mac OS 10.6.8 can't watch youtube videos, black screen, no sound, nothing happens w/click.

Not real computer savy but this happened all of the sudden.  Tryed going back and watching videos I've watched before.  No go.  Tryed uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe a couple of times with restart, no change.  Made sure my apple updates were up to date, nothing.
There was some direction on YouTube to try right clicking or ctrl clicking on the video and it'll bring up a certain menu where you can select to watch the video a different way.  Tryed that, and the menu options they say should come up, don't come up.
I can't figure it out.  Help would be much appreciated as it's driving me nuts.
    Thank you!
    ~Elizabeth

You rock Clinton!  It was F*king Safari messing up my mojo.  Man, I just spent... 5 hours of pure frustration.  Thank you so much, you've gotta have some good karma coming your way for that.
So, installing Firefox did the dealio for me on this one.
    Now I can watch fun videos like;

  • My MacBook Pro gets hot when I'm not doing much and when I watch YouTube videos the video skips, scrolling doe as well.

I bought the new, and my first MacBook Pro 13" a little over a month ago for college and love it, but have started to realize a couple problems I can't seem to solve. The bottom of the MacBook becomes very very hot in a short amount of time, and I really don't think I'm doing much to cause it. Another issue is while I watch a Youtube video in HD, even if it's completely loaded, it skips every so often and is slow and also makes my computer very hot. When I try to scroll up and down to view a web site, it also sometimes skips. I really never thought this would happen to Apple computers and hope someone can help me fix these problems! Thank you very much in advanced!

The widget that works well on your Dashboard is called IStat Pro, It monitores all running statistics updated every 15 seconds.     Your fan  always runs at about 2000 RPM and will increase up to 6000 RPM after 140 degreesF and higher is reached.   This widget will show you continuos measurements for you to see

  • When I watch youtube videos, it always stop and start. Very  annoying. Any good apps that we can use.

YouTube videos always stop and start . Is there an apps that we can download to stabilize the video.

Are you trying to watch YouTube from a web browser on iPad or from the YouTube app?
Should be running fine from the YouTube app on the iPad unless you have a slow connection.
Our family uses DSL (4-5 Mbps) and we stream video both with iPads, computers and TV with, mostly, no issues like buffering or data degradation/pixellation. It all depends on how much traffic there is on the Internet at any one specific time.
Heavy Internet traffic on different days at different hours of the day, from your ISP, can also be a factor in slowing down your Internet connection.
