When I went to facebook today the info which usually fills up my moniter loaded up in the middle instead of the left side?
so far this is only happening on facebook
one of the things it said to do was go to help and click the troubleshooting information then click the reset mozilla to default settings.

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

I had to reboot my iMac, it froze... When I went to reboot it started up as usual... Made power sound, showed apple logo (white screen)... And pin wheel started after 3 to 4 mins., went to black screen with error messages. Rebooted 5x, shot off power source, disconnected external devices... Now won't go past pinwheel... Since it does not go to black screen, I cannot convey error messages... Please advise what I could try... Thank you... I have an iMac 2009... Upgrade operating system to new system this spring... Don.
It is guitardad's again... I read past topics on this issue... As I am not overly computer savvy, I want to be careful that I don't mess things up further... Of course the extended warranty is done... There is talk about booting from the system disc... I'm not sure if this is the first thing to do or not... Can the support community, advise me on what logical steps I should take ( in order) or direct me to a website and/ or you tube video that walks one safely through the processes... Once again thank you for reading and offering your advice... I am on fixed $$$ so I'm trying to avoid calling apple, unless I have no options and/or the suggestions do not resolve the issues... Sounds to me like you may have gotten a machine with hardware issues, but it's hard to say. It will shut down if it gets too hot, but that's not a normal occurrence. I have never seen a MacBook Pro shut down due to heat, even after lengthy 3D gaming sessions where the fans are running fast and the bottom of the machine is unpleasant to touch.
First thing I would try to do is reset the SMC. If that doesn't help, erase the hard drive and reinstall the system from scratch, which you should always do with a used machine anyway.
If a fresh system doesn't help, you'll need to get it checked out by Apple.

I've unchecked the boxes for apple e-mails (news and iTunes offers) after following the link at the bottom of a marketing e-mail from Apple.
Unfortunately I still get marketing info which I don't want. What else can I do to stop the spam?The e-mail checks out as having come from an IP address registered to Apple.

The sender address wasn't spoofed and all the links in the mail lead to legitimate apple web sites. (It was an advert for a MacBook Air christmas special). There was a link at the bottom of the e-mail which takes me to the Apple 'manage your e-mails' page.

On this page there are check boxes for the various Apple news and iTunes marketing e-mails, and the option to change my e-mail address. The boxes are not checked but I still get marketing e-mails. -

Sounds like you want the "classic layout" (as in, the way Mail looked before Lion). Go to Mail -> Preferences, click the Viewing icon and check "Use classic layout."

My CD has photos with info which I can read off the CD. On 'Import to Library' the photos are imported to my iPhoto but info is not. How can I import photos including info?
When you say "info", what do you mean exactly? What kind of info and where is it being stored? Is it in a separate file(s), or is it metadata in the file itself? All EXIF data is retained (that's a standard for camera image files) such as date taken, camera model, exposure, location, etc, when you import into iPhoto. If you've added data in some non-standard way, it won't be retained.

You need to set 0 margin and padding on the body tag. Copy
the following
into the head of your document just before the closing head
tag (/head>)
Preferably it should go into an external stylesheet, but by
the sounds of
things you are not using this as yet.

Once you have added the above to your page, you need to save

Template. You will be asked to create an editable region

This happens with small sites as well as major ones such as amazon.com. It happens frequently with many different websites both when typing in a URL or clicking on one from search results or other pages. If I am opening it in a new tab, the page is blank and the correct URL shows in the address bar even though it didn't load. When I get the message "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded" I have to click okay and then click on the link again or click refresh. Sometimes it loads on the 2nd try; other times I have to refresh multiple times to get it to load.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Seems like Apple would use the empty black space on the left, that appears while scrolling through your shared library, to display the info you enter in the year and comments section. For example: I should be able to put the synopsis to each of my movies in the comments section and see it on the left as I scroll through my list. Get on that. Thanks

Apple does use tht space for info about the movie, you are obviously entering it into the wrong places. -
This process was drag-and-drop on my Mac, but I can't find anything like that process for Fire FTP on my PC's Firefox browser.
Thank you for your response, but it didn't help. I'll try again. I think I have added Fire FTP to the browser environment. I say "I think" because everything appears to have worked (no error messages, browser restarted successfully), but I cannot find a link to the add-on anywhere. Here are my two questions:
1. Where can I access Fire FTP when using my PC (not my Mac - the Mac's interface with this add-on is flawless)?
2. Where is the icon for this add-on, and how do I add it to the toolbar on the PC? (Again, the Mac works effortlessly in this regard)

Why does the iTunes 10.4.1 update take me to to Apple's download webpage (to download a full version of iTunes) instead of the usual Safari/Quicktime pop-up/dialog box where I usually perform the updates?
iTunes 10.4 and Safari 5.1 contain more than 'just' the OSX Lion-release but stability and security improvements as well.
For example, here is http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1070 what the Safari 5.1 contains.
In here http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/ I can't find an "end-date" for the download of the Lion installer.
Nonetheless, personaly I would download the Lion installer and then copy it (from your Apllications folder) to a secure place (backup harddisk, external hardisk etc.).
When your IT gives it a go you can then use te Lion installer from inside the Applications folder, but I would also say to make a bootable clone of your current OSX Snow Leopard before starting the Lion installation.
