I didn't think, Ok, what have I done!
Yep its day two and I freakin love everything about this phone. No regretful feeling at all, like I did with my X, and thinking I could just grow to like it.
I wish VZW would have done a better job so more customers could feel the same.
Just curious anyone regretting? Not because VZW screwed up, but why do you not like the iPhone now that it has only been 24 hours or so?

I have not gotten my iphone yet, but I do not think VZW screwed up too bad. I mean, they did tell us it would come on the 10th or sooner. I think they could have been a little better with their email communications though, so people would have understood what was going on. BUT, mine is coming today! I will let you know tommorow what I think about it

Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.

Accidents happen, and apple can certainly assist you with replacement of said device. Most manufacters would tell you to buy a brand new retail unit, apple will charge you about half price for a replacement unit. I agree its unfortunate that it happend, but expecting a free replacement is just going to lead to disappointment

The game you mentioned does not save online. If you have made a backup using "iCloud" or "iTunes backup" then you may be able to restore to that last save point on your device which will include whatever you had for currency at the time when the save was created.
Unfortunately, we do not have a way to restore game progress, this is done by the user on the device itself using the backup and restore method for the entire device.
If you have not performed a backup save for your device before this problem happened and you have lost currency from purchases, please contact the iTunes store customer service to inquire about your purchase and request help regarding this loss of currency issue.. Apple does not allow developers to handle billing issues.
If you get an answer saying that In-App purchases are the responsibility of the developer, please insist that they assist you as we have no way of accessing their purchase records. We are the developer and do not have access to any account or billing information on the iTunes App Store.

IPhone 4 the day after launch

DO You all think that all iphone 4 will sell out within the first day even if they are selling them at best buy, wal mart, and radio shack. What do you guys think my chances will be of getting a 32 gb black ip4 the day after launch?

My friend got an iPhone the day after launch at the Apple Store in NH last year. He was at the store when it opened and had no issues.
It really depends on where you live and what time of the day you try to buy one.

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

/Library/StartupItems
/System/Library/StartupItems
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/LaunchDaemons
Open Console in Applications>Utilities, check the system log for the date/time of the last problem & next startup for clues.

This is facetious and contrived, but without crossdomain security policies, the internet would be a much more dangerous place. JavaScript has even more restrictive crossdomain policies. I don't think this is going away.

It's as simple as this:
Open iTunes.
Click iTunes Store on the left side of the screen.
Look on the left side - click Purchased (it has a NEW graphic next to it)
You will see everything you have every purchased from iTunes. You can redownload any of it.

In ical, only since the update, when I look at the day view, I can no longer scroll down indefinitely; it stops at one day only

Since the update, when I use ical , and am on the day view, I no longer can scroll down through multiple days; it stops at one day only. Seems like a poor design change. Any idea how to reverse this?

IOS 7 Calendar on iPad I cannot go from month view to day view. When I tap on the day of the month nothing happens.

I use to be able to look at my month in the month view and when I wanted to make an appointment for a specific day I just tapped that day and it would open up the day and I could add my appointment to the time slot I wanted. Now when I am in month view and I tap on the day I want to make an appointment it does nothing. If I hold my finger on the day it creates an All Day event which is not what I want to do and even if I add a start time to the event, I don't know what times I have available on that day because the Day view hasn't opened. This is extremely frustrating. On my iphone it works properly...I can go from month view to day view by tapping on the day I want to view. Why can't I do this on my iPad?? If I could go back to ios 6 I would, calendar is not impressive at all!!
Please help with any suggestions or PLEASE APPLE.....FIX THIS!!!

I just tested, and this unfortunately still seems to be a bug in the latest iOS 7.1 release of the Calendar on the iPad, which is too bad since the release notes suggest that this iOS update included both bug fixes and enhancements to the Calendar.
To my knowledge the bug has never been an issue on the iPhone version of the Calendar which behaves exactly as you would expect it should.
It seems inconcievable given the obvious broken-ness of the current behavior coupled with what I would expect is a massive number of people who use the Calendar on the iPad, but is it possible that this bug isn't on Apple's radar?
I'm happy to submit a bug report; does anyone know offhand the process for how the public can report bugs?
This has been persistent in the product for nearly six months; it's well overdue that this bug be squashed.

I am being harassed by customer service the day after my bill is due every month.

At least 6 phone calls every day, beginning at 5am, followed by text messages. All you have to you is tell me once, via text, that my payment is due. I indicated on my Verizon Wireless account online that my preferred method of contact is text message. I do not appreciate the harassment, as a customer of 11 years, who always pays the bill without disconnection. Here's a novel idea - Leave me a voicemail, automated or not, and you will get the message across. Of course I'm not going to answer the phone at 5am, but that is no reason to call me every 2 hours for the rest of the day! Calling every 2 hours is not going to magically make more money appear in my bank account. Yesterday it was 5:43am, 9:10am, 10:21am, and 11:24am. I answered the one at 11:24am to indicate to the service rep that I was planning to pay my bill the following day, but just waiting for a check to clear in my bank account. When the service rep actually picked up from the automated calling system, it sounded like she was on an airplane rifling through a big stack of papers in a microphone. I couldn't hear a single thing she said, and just tried to yell over the background noise that I was paying my bill the next day. Finally I had to tell her that I was hanging up because I couldn't hear hear at all. Today so far I've been called at 5:43am, 7:36am, 9:36am. I paid my bill at 9:30, and just got another call at 10:07am and 10:14am. No voicemails, of course. I do not appreciate this treatment, and it disgusts me to be harassed on this level. It's inhuman.

mrhelper If I am paying my bill late, it does not mean I am deserving of harassment. It means I deserve to be called and notified of my late payment and asked for said payment. It does not mean I deserve calls every 2 hours beginning at 5am. I'm talking about harassment here. It is illegal for a debt collector to harass you under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). It does not mean that you don't still owe the money, but it means you are entitled to being treated like a human being about it. There are laws being broken here. I'm filling out a report with the FTC, and hopefully they will consider changing their methods of contacting their customers. My phone has never been disconnected, but yes, I have delayed the payment a few days past due before. Sometimes the money just isn't there on the exact day the bill is due, but I always pay it. Such was the case this month. I am on a road trip across the country, have no access to my bank, and had to wait for a paycheck to clear from across the country. There was nothing I could do except wait. My snarky response to anyone else is because the point is being missed about my complaint. I didn't write this forum post to get lectured about being responsible about my bills. I wrote this post because I am reaching a dead end with contacting Verizon Wireless customer service directly. Has anyone noticed a delay when secondary clicking on the trackpad after switching to Lion?

I have noticed that ever since I upgraded to OS X Lion there is a delay of the context menu showing up when I lightly tap the trackpad with two fingers. The context menu shows up immediately if I ctrl-click or push down on the trackpad with two fingers, but lightly tapping brings up the context menu slightly after doing so. Try it out yourself and see if the problem occurs. I am certain that this did not happen in Snow Leopard. I am using an early 2011 13" Macbook Pro.

Was there a two-finger double-click? I don't recall but if there wasn't there wouldn't be a delay as the OS would not have to wait to see if you were going to two-finger click again. As far as I can recall, it was a two-finger single click for secondary button, and that was it.
I've already forgotten, but I didn't use in Snow Leopard if it was there - I had been using a mouse.

I have done with my cerifiction SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0(C_TAW12_70)
on 25th feb 2011 and sucessfully completed with 88% of marks .But they are not provided any certficaton till now.do you have any idea when will I get the certificaton?

I cleared my certification in BI on 4th Dec 2010 and received the certificate on 25th Feb, idealy it takes this much time and they will not give any other mail or nething which states that u have cleared the exam.
