When Im on a call I have to be on speaker phone mode to be heard. Why dosnt it work in the normal phone mode ?
Basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Try each of these in order until the problem is resolved. If you've been through all these steps and the trouble persists, you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation. Be sure to make an appointment first at the Genius Bar so you won't have a long wait.

Just purchased the iphone6 and can hardly hear when I get a call, despite volume up, bluetooth off and nothing obstructing device. This issue is all over the Web, come to find out. How to fix?

When i tried to download iOS8 on my iPad Mini it told me that I needed to connect my iPad to iTunes, I have done that and now it says I need to restore my iPad. How can I get my iPad working without losing everything on my iPad? I don't want to lose my apps and photos!
Help would be much appreciated!If you are getting the connect to iTunes screen then it's too late to take a new backup and/or copy anything off it. Prior to starting the update did you take a backup, either to the cloud and/or to your computer's iTunes ? If not then have you recently taken a backup that might have your photos and apps content/settings in it ?
As long as the apps are still in your country's store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app (and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes), and if the apps store their content on a server/cloud service then you might be able to get their content back from that - if they store their content on the device then you will need to have a backup.
For our photos you could try doing a search for programs that claim to be able to recover content from a device - I haven't used any so I can't suggest one. -

I was just upgraded to a Windows 7 (64 bit) laptop. I am trying to get a web-based application (XMLmind) to open in FireFox and am unable to do so. Is there a specific plug-in that I need to make FF compatible with my 64 bit laptop?
Firefox works, but my application does not.When the videos are in the Movie library, try using the Create IPod and iPhone Version in the Afvanced tab of iTunes.

Need to use my FCP 5 fast. Will it likely not work on the new Intel iMac?

I purchased a standalone version of FCP 5 about 6 months ago. I am thinking about getting a new Intel-based iMac, and I need to use the program fast (so I can't wait for Apple to send me that 5.1 upgrade). How likely is it that FCP 5 will still run on the new iMac?

As stated in numerous threads posted in this forum, hit the Escape key when you get the error message upon opening the App.
Not believeing everything you read on the Apple site but believing what's written here is kind of a hypocritical statement isn't it? Believe me = Bwa Ha Ha Ha! (pun intended, Studio x)

I am EXTREMELY tired of having to deal with this. iTunes has been an issue since I got it and unfortunately whenever I want to update my computer's iTunes account it demands I download a new format (which has continually gotten worse and WORSE over time). I wish things would not be updated so frequently. As soon as I have the new format working decently (ONLY decently, I have never had an apple product that has worked as it is stated it should) another update comes along. And THIS time, I cannot download it. First problem: I open iTunes. It says I need to update for my ipod to work. I think "great. I click ok and it will do it automatically!" Oh boy was I wrong. I don't do anything. I search up how to update things. It says ON THIS SITE: Go to help in the itunes store. THERE. IS. NO. CLEARLY. VISIBLE. HELP. SECTION. I have looked for FAR to long for this to be worth my time.
Okay - let's cut to the chase...
If the Menu Bar (File, Edit... Help) shown in my screenshot below is not visible, use CTRL+B to display it. Then click on Help/Check for Updates. If one is available, you will be able to select it at this time.
Note the item at the bottom of the list; About iTunes. Selecting that will show you which version of iTunes you are using.
An alternative method to display the Menu Bar is click on the box in the top left of your iTunes window... -
Why does Jaws works with the project when previewed in browser but does not when it is published?
I am using Jaws 15.0.110024 and Captivate 8 in windows.
Perhaps you need to add the published location to the list of trusted locations for the Flash Player?

When I click on the site in the address it brings up a window about page info with "General", Permission and security. Under technical details, it says "Connection not encrypted". It also says the website, odb.org does not support encryption for the page you are viewing. This is a normal website that I have visited many time using IE 9 but now with firefox i cannot go to the website because of some kind of encryption garbage. If i have this problem just trying to go to my home page then i will get rid of firefox.

If you type or paste http://odb.org/ in the location bar then that website should open.
Only if you use the https: protocol then encryption is used and the technical info will show that like you see with this website (Verified by Equifax).
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC) -

As you are working in one window the focus just switches to the desktop and the mouse position is reset to the top
right corner. Even if you are using the MAC.
It is so frustrating.. No help from MS Support. I can't believe there is no fix or patch for this.

Since you mention this, I wonder if you might be using a virtualization solution like Parallels and Windows 8.1 inside a virtual environment. In this case, the input mechanism is provided by
the virtualization platform and could be being reset after detecting that the focus has shifted into or out of the virtual environment. The best route for support if you are using a virtualization solution is to post your issue to the virtualization software’s
support forums or contact technical support for the software.

i added 3 contacts and saved on my iphone 5, but do not appear on my list of contacts. the names appear when they text or call me. I have to go search for their messages when i need to call them?
Try to restore your iphone via iTunes or update to ios6.1.2.
If itunes gives an error with restoring (DFU/Recovery or just normal)
try this:
open your computer and search on windows; C://windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
open up the hosts file in note pad you will see IP adresses and more add another line and put in this:
#74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
this is a by-pass to the cydia/saurik restore server, it has nothing to do with jailbreaking over voiding apple's warranty

Power down phone
Hold volume up/down & power simultaneously
Use volume down to navigate to 'Recovery', use volume up to select
Should see screen with triangle and exclamation point next to an Android
Press volume up/down simultaneously
Use volume rocker to navigate to 'wipe cache' and use power button to select
Once finished, use volume rocker to navigate to 'reboot system now' and use power button to select
