I am not sure however I suspect live view is for viewing the page you are working on. You would have to open the other page to see it in live view. The browser on the other hand is doing what it is designed to do. I jump back and forth all the time from live view to the browsers I have installed.

Bug report: text does not update on the stage

I am not sure whether this has been reported:
I have several groups divs into one main group div. In these are images and text. I create a new group by copying elements from a previous group and then insert new text in the copied text box. The text does not update on the stage but is correct when I run the composition and also in the text panel.

I tried all day and is intermittent, why?, 'cause the numbers are now showing but the other texts not, this happen only on Chrome and Safari when the navigator screen increases size.

I have registered correctly. I have turned off my AVG virus protection and tried to update my software, still the Application Manager gives the same response. When I login, I can see that my serial numbers are there, so it must have registered correctly.

If you don't want to download the updates manually, then you need to update your Application Manager. The relevant links are here:

Did you try any other browser? is it hosted on Business catalyst? If yes and if you are using custom domain, then login to admin panel using system domain (mysite.businesscatalyst.com) and then try to delete.

I got a runnig query in Bex Designer, based on a transient InfoProvider which is based on a HANA Calculation View
and
added a new measure to the Calculation View
and
added a Reference InfoObject in the Publisher to the (transient) InfoProvider.
and
see the newly added filed in the Listccube of the(transient) InfoProvider with a technical generated name
and do not
get the newly added measure in the BEX Designer.
Whats wrong ? What needs to be done ?

Are you trying to consume the HANA Calc View in BEx Front End Tool - Query Designer.Could you also check the data preview of the Calc View shows the newly added Measure.Check the definition of Calc View under SYS_BIC schema ->Column Views.

Don't edit the audio into the timeline. Or pull the audio level down to zero in the inspector or on the audio waveform in the timeline.

IPhoto main view window does not update

I have a problem with the recent version of iPhoto 9.3 (650.39). Sometimes, if I return from a full view of an image, and then try to go to a different folder, album or anything, the main window view does not update. If I resize iPhoto, the main window stays the same.
I need to restart iPhoto to fix this problem. My Mac is a 2011 iMac with the latest Version of OS X 10.7.4
Anyone has a similar problem?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

ITunes 8 does not automatically advance to next track in album or playlist

iTunes 8 was recently installed for me by the company on my company laptop. This was done automatically by LANDesk. (We call this being LANDesked. I was forced by LANDesk to reboot my computer twice yesterday, but I digress.)
iTunes does not automatically advance to the next track in an album or playlist, either in list view or grid view.
List View: I can play any song in an album by double-clicking it or by selecting the track and pressing the play button. When it gets to the end of that track, it does not automatically advance to playing the next track. Pressing Ctrl-Right stops the current track and does not play the next track. The Next button is active and it, too, stops the current track and does not play the next track.
Grid View: Play Album button appears to be active but does nothing.
Is there some setting I'm missing that was set to do this in iTunes 7 but not in 8?

I thought the check boxes were for selecting which tracks get synced to my iPod or iPhone. I must have unchecked them all (before the installation of iTunes 8) when I was trying to figure out how to sync a 2nd computer (this one) to my iPhone.
I can't find anything in the iTunes help about this necessary fact for playing your albums and playlists. If you look on the Index tab of the help, neither check nor uncheck are found in the list. If you search for check, you eventually find, amongst all the pages, that you need to have tracks checked in order to burn them to a CD and to import them from a CD, but I find nothing about checking to play tracks. Also, the help is very confusing on the difference between selecting one or more songs and checking the check boxes of one or more song. These seem to be used interchangeably occasionally.

When using external editor, iPhoto does not re-import the .psd file

I've just started using Photoshop Elements 6 as a more advanced editor in iPhoto. When I do the 'External Edits' wihtout adding layers etc. and re-save as a JPEG then the photo will re-appear in iPhoto as the edited file.
However if I do the external edit and add layers then save as a .PSD, then the file does not update.. I have to save the .PSD file in a desktop folder then import the file after.
Is there anyway to force iPhoto to pick up the .PSD automatically after an update if I save it to the iPhoto library?

The folllowing might be of some help:
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 6 the Saving File preferences should be configured: "On First Save: Save Over Current File". Also I suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds

If you import a psd file initially then you can edit it via the external editor, with or without layers, and do a normal save and iPhoto will recognize the changes.

Hbox in view stack does not update width

Hi there,   I'm working on flash builder and I have four hboxes nested inside a view stack. I dynamically populate each hbox with images grabbed from the database. For some reason only the visible hbox correctly updates its' width while the other 3 hbox takes on the width of this one so I end up with all four hbox having the same width. This is a problem when I have lots of images in one than the other and some of them gets cut off.
The hboxes do not have scroll bars as the viewstack has a mouse easing scroller function attached to it - the hbox scrolls according to the position of the mouse.
Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi thanks for your reply. As the hbox gets populated i need it to resize itself. Once each hbox has been populated with the images I attach a function to the viewstack which allows me to scroll the hbox with mouse position - so it scrolls horizontally depending on where the mouse is in relation to the viewstack. So as you can see I need by this point for each hbox to have resized in order to correctly calculate my scrolling function. The bizarre thing is the selected Index hbox displays all the images but the rest of the hboxes takes on the same width as this one and this is a problem because some of my other hbox contains more images. As a test I set the selected Index of the viewStack to be the third Hbox, then I restarted the application and now all the hbox takes on the wdith of this one.   I am creating a library of thumbnails which is dynamically driven. It's not possible for me to predetermine the width of each. Do you have any suggestions for this?

Next Song Button - Stops the song and does not advance to the next song

I just loaded 8.0.2.20. Now I cannot use the ">>" next song button. I've tried many playlists and rebooted the system - no luck.
If song 1 in my playlist is playing and I click on the next song button, song 1 stops, song 1 remains highlighted in the main display area (list view).

I just figured this out. All of my songs were "unchecked" after I was working on setting up iTunes for multiple ipods. Now that they are all check, the "forward" or "Next" button works fine.

When in album view it does not update to the next track.
