To change your password you will need to open System Preferences, then open Users & Groups, click on Change Password. Change your password to a temporary one, then when you have finished you do the same procedure to change it back, by typing in the temp password then leaving the new password blank. For those of you who don't know this, if you press the round button twice quickly, all the apps you have been using come up. If you hold the first one down until the icons wiggle, you'll get a minus sign in front of each one. While they are wiggling, hit the minus sign and that app will close. When they are all gone, reopen your e-mail and they should be refreshed. -

This is a security setting on your system that is resulting in this behaviour, not Flash Player installer itself, or anything with the installer. There are many Google search results on this. The first hit I got, was the following from the Microsoft forums:
To unblock a software publisher:
1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
2. Go to the Content tab, Look under the Certificates section.
3. Click on Publishers button.
4. Select the Untrusted Publishers tab.
5. Select the Publisher you wish to unblock and click the Remove button.

I'm able to download, the installation starts but it stops before completing.

I have a new MacBook Pro. I have OS 10.8.2. I cannot get FlashPlayer to download. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 from the Adobe website. Doesn't work. Registry problems when installing Flash Player
Hi, first of all, sorry for any misspelling, I'm Argentinian . I'm writing here because I've tried a LOT of ways and solutions to install Flash Player for IE, here some facts:
I mostly use Google Chrome, that has the FP already installed, but i have a problem with the ActiveX control, I can install Flash player 11 for windows but Not ActiveX... i read that that's a tool for IE, so i thought i wouldn't be needing it, but when i tried to execute a program (Game Ranger) it said that i needed ActiveX control and that i didn't have it in my computer.. So i started to check for solutions, etc etc. and finally give it up because i just couldn't do it, but well now I started again because I want to know if it's something important to have..
The problem when installing is this: It starts to download Flash Player.. then install it and when it's in 51% it stops and a message appears saying: registry error. this is what happens when I try to install ActiveX, not Flash Player itself because as I said earlier I can install it...
All I want to know is if there's some way to allow Flash Player installation to change registry values.. because i think that's the main problem.. i think. Thank you for reading.

Max out your ram.

My iPhone 4 says it has 15 GB of "Other" in the storage bar in iTunes. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
In my case, this must be me. My iPhone has a bug - it's not any of the other things that are considered "other". It's just an issue. I've researched for over an hour, reduced every settings imagineable (Other doesn't go down - in fact, it goes up, almost like, because I freed up space, it wants to fill in the remaining space). I called Apple - after one hour of being inadvertently hung up on twice (they took my number to call me back in case disconnected and never did - amazing) and then talking to another 3 reps, they just "guessed" which I find offensive to my time - just say "I don't know but if you are willing to take a chance, here's a thought..." rather than not be able to say "I don't know". Warning: Resets DO NOT solve this problem unless you do a clean wipe out and start from scratch (w/o restoring your stuff). Two hours later, I've resolved to wipe out my phone.
