When is Photoshop going to support RAW files for the new Nikon D750?

You can always monitor the forum for announcements. My experience has been that I have been automatically notified when the official updates are available. I'm using Photoshop CS6, and the application manager associated with that program always notifies me when there is an update available. You can go ahead and install the release candidate now, and still install the official release when it comes.

  • WHEN will you support raw files for Canon 70D in PE? This camera has been out for months!

    Hi,
PSE 12 with updates or PSE 13 should support the Canon 70D.
Which version do you have and which operating system are you running on?
If you have an older version of PSE, you could use the DNG converter to convert the CR2 files to DNG files - then you can use the DNG files in PSE.

  • Lightroom 3 does NOT support raw files for the  Canon Sureshot S95

Have just bought the new Canon Sureshot S95
after contacting Adobe support I am told Lightroom 3 does NOT support raw files for the
    Canon Sureshot S95.
Come on Adobe.....please provide an update asap.

    (1) Well Boss I did what you said and used Canon DPP to convert to TIFFs. Choices are 8-bit TIFF or 16-bit TIFF - I chose 16-bit because part (90% part) of the reason for wanting to work in RAW is to keep the bit depth of teh original. On my EOS 40D it is supposedly 14 bits, which gives great scope to play with the levels & curves without seeing poster effects. If I choose 16 bit TIFF then each S95 image becomes a 70MB file, parallel to my JPEG and RAW.  Hardly a satisfactory solution.
(I realise, however, that I don't actually know the bit depth of the S95 RAW file - anybody? ).
    (2) SUGGESTION-  even if you are adding S95 support to the next update (which I dearly hope), be kinder to those with new cameras in general and allow LR to import JPEGs if it cannot import the RAWs (overriding if necessary the 'ignore JPEG' preference setting).  I am sure users with that preference would still prefer a JPEG than no picture at all!
Since I discovered this compatibility problem, I switched the camera to record RAW+JPEG*. To my great irritation LR3 ignores the JPEGs even though it cannot load the RAWs.  So if I want to import from one supported camera (EOS40D) and one unsupported camera (S95) I have to keep going into preferences to switch on and off the 'ignore JPEG' function.

  • Camera RAW does NOT yet support raw files for the new  Canon Sureshot S95

Camera RAW does NOT yet support raw files for the new
    Canon Sureshot S95.
Adobe, please can you provide an update asap

    Hello!
I think that you need to be patient.
There has not been any release of Camera Raw since the release of the camera.
I recommend to try the next version once it will be released, as there might be preliminary support (and therefore not listed).
Usually, Adobe is amongs the firsts to support a new camera.
Even though the Camera Raw team is fielded with wonderful coders, I do not think that they do have a time machine to allow support before they have their hands on a camera

  • Aperture does not support raw files from my Leica d-lux 6.

When will Aperture support RAW files from a Leica d-lux 6?

You can download a free copy of Adobe DNG Converter. You then can use this program to convert the D Lux RAW files into DNG RAW files. Aperture will be able to read the DNG files. This is a bit of pain but it will work until Apple supports the D Lux in its usual glacial time span.

  • When Will Photoshop Elements 12 support Raw files from Nikon D3300

i have just got my Nikon d3300 and now want to edit and clean my images , but cannot find any information about when photoshop elements 12 will be able to do this , any help people.

The soon-to-be-released Camera Raw 8.4 includes support for the D3300. It's only available as a beta for Photoshop CS6 and CC at the moment.
    https://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2014/02/camera-raw-8-4-rc-and-dng-converter-8-4-r c-now-available.html
However you can download and install the DNG 8.4 converter (also a beta version), convert your D3300 Raw files to DNGs then edit the DNGs in Elements 12
    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/cameraraw8-4.html
"Note: Camera Raw 8.4 and DNG Converter 8.4 are no longer officially supported on the following platforms: Mac OS 10.6.x (Snow Leopard), Windows XP, Windows Vista."

  • Convert raw files for olympus pen camera in aperture

  • No Lightroom 5 support for Olympus OM-D E-M10 RAW files

    Hi,
Currently, I don't believe Lightroom 5 supports RAW files from Olympus' new camera, the OM-D E-M10.
I know it supports JPEG files.
Any idea when this support will be available and how?
    Thanks!

Preliminary support was included in the recently announced ACR 8.4 Release Candidate. Normally, the equivalent Lightroom version (5.4 RC) would be released at the same time, though not this time for some unknown (to us users) reason. However, you could perhaps optimistically expect either LR 5.4 RC or indeed LR 5.4 final release to be available within the next month, and that should include the support you are looking for.
Additionally, the free Adobe DNG Converter 8.4 RC is also now available, so you could use it to convert the Raw files to DNG for processing in whatever version of Lightroom you are using.

  • Reading RAW files from OLYMPUS

Can Photoshop Elements read RAW files from Olympus OM-D E-M10 or if not can the files be converted to a compatible format?

Photoshop elements 12 can't read those files as of yet, but should be able to when camera raw 8.4 is released.
It won't be too long because 8.4 is in the release candidate stage, which probably means within the next month or so, it should be released as final.
Did your olympus camera come with any software that can open those files?

  • Will PSE12 open raw files for Olypus camera MD5 mark II?

Will PSE 12 open raw files for Olympus camera Md5 mark II?
I can not find that information anywhere.

The plug-in for Creative Cloud has only just been released. Updates for Lightroom and PSE will follow. You could use the 8.8 DNG converter whilst waiting. Convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
Windows download (.exe file) click here DNG Converter 8.8
Mac download (.dmg file) click here DNG Converter 8.8
You can convert a whole folder of raw images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:
