So is Apple inc. not convinced yet that they have to let people downgrade their devices?

The OS seems not to be fully backwards compatible. Many apps that used to work on iOS 5 don't work any more.
Let's not discuss the map problems because it's useless, and go to google maps through safari is not a solution.
Other problems are more aesthetic. Apps made for a bigger screen just don't look good on the smaller iphone 4S screen.
Battery drains faster. I used to get almost 2 days of battery life with iOS 5, now it hardly reaches a Day.

Only Apple knows at this time since they haven't announced a release date. We'll all just have to wait and see.

There isn’t anything in the UI to let you select all the sizes, that will come in the next update hopefully (which won’t be for a few months). But, you can edit the app descriptor XML to add the missing sizes, and Flash CC will not delete those new lines.
For what it’s worth, when you switch between iOS and Android publishing of the same app, all the icons are deleted from the XML, so you need to find a solution to that problem. I keep a text file like this:

and I just copy and paste the right block of icons into the XML. That way with a new app I don’t even have to select a single size in Flash, let alone 18 of them.
If you’re seeing the new sizes be deleted from the XML, either you’re using something earlier than the release version of AIR 3.9, or you haven’t done the Flash CC update from last week.

I found the solution .,,,
1) click on your current plan and press done your payment details will appear .
2) the first section is your plan and there is a botton "change" click on it
3) it will take you back to the upgrade options
4) press on the downgrade options
5) choose the 5 GB and the done botton will be enabled
6) click on it you'll back to the step number 2 , here read carefully you'll see that your changes will take effect after the current plan expired with the date.

Google seems to change their login security occasionally, and apps that assume it will work a particular way get left out in the cold till they are updated, since the login process is hard-coded into the app.

Well the ITunes is setup and now sitting here twiddling my fingers waiting for IOS 5, what is going on and when and how are we going to be notified that its here ready to download?

To be honest it seems that this topic is getting a few people a bit excited in some threads, resulting in some cases of the poor poster asking the question having their head bitten off.
However, it's not really that unreasonable a question is it?
When the 4S went to pre-order it was supposed to be at 00:01 PT. OK the site didn't go up until 00:40, but it was still just after 00:00 really.
When Lion launched I had a friend here in the UK download it at 10:00 BST so around what, 02:00 PT? I suppose we can assume it went live just after 00:00 then.
iOS 5 has been announced as launching on 12th October so it's not overly unreasonable to think it could have been just after 00:00 PT is it? I don't recall the speeches at the Keynote saying it will launch at "10:00 on 12th October" they just said "on the 12th October".
This will be my first major iOS launch, so I suppose a question could be: is it normally 10:00 PT for this type of thing?

Since the iOS 7 update, some apps no longer have sound, even of configured to do so. Example, no longer does my FaceTime ring even if I have a tone set; my email app doesn't make a sound when email comes in or goes out. Help!

Ever since I updated to ios7, sounds from specific apps has disappeared, even if configured correctly to make sounds. My mail doesn't sound off anymore when mail comes in or goes out. My FaceTime no longer rings when someone calls me. My map app no longer gives me voice instructions like it did before. If someone messages me I do not hear sounds anymore. I find it very annoying especially because I have family abroad and FaceTime is an important means of communication. I reset it by pressing the sleep and home button and all, nothing happened.
Can someone help understand how to resolve this problem.

(A) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Make sure sound is not muted in Control Center; tap on the little bell. Swipe upwards from bottom of screen to launch Control Center

IPhone 4s Voice Memo App has 5 second delay when the record button is pressed. When it starts recording, it goes from 0 seconds to 5 or so seconds recorded. This happens randomly and often and sometimes has the delay but starts at zero. Solution Anyone?

This happens randomly and often, sometimes it will have the 5+ second delay but starts recording at zero seconds. Besides the delay it has been working fine as far as saving and playback is concerned. I have plenty of storage on the phone itself and it NEVER had this problem before I updated to iOS 7. I've reset the phone a couple times by holding down the power and home buttons at the same time. The reason I have an issue with this is that I'm always recording song ideas, melodies, and scratch takes; what I'm saying is when I come up with an idea I need to be able to know that when I hit record it will start right then so I don't forget anything that has just popped in my mind.
Does anyone have a solution or suggestion?
