What drives are you using? I currently am using
the Iomega portables with FW800 and also the
G-drive Mobile with FW800 without any issues.
I use several of them to clone systems and have
one connected to my MacMini for temporary media
store and have had no issues.
There have been past OS upgrades that have
caused problems with FW drives because of
the chip set that they are based on. Could be
a similar situation here.

There is no iPod 4s, just an iPod 4. There will not be any iOS 7 upgrade for the iPod 4G Touch.

OS 6 would not work properly on your 8520 and OS 7 cannot run on your phone due to hardware limitations. The only way you could use either one of those OS is to upgrade your phone.

The Music app is ridiculously messed up ... if you use it enough, you will come across these issues which can only be addressed by an iOS update.

When is Camera Raw 8.7 coming out for Nikon D750. I see everyone is having the same problem, we have the camera but can't download to Light room.

There is a release candidate for Camera Raw 8.7 that includes support for the camera. However, Lightroom does not use the Camera Raw plug-in. It is expected that support for the camera will be in the next Lightroom update, whenever that is released. But there is no release date because Adobe never announces that kind of information ahead of time. In the meantime, you could use the software that came with the camera to create TIF copies that could then be opened in Lightroom that you have now. Or, you could download the DNG converter 8.7 RC and create DNG copies that you could use now.

Skype, Viber (I use both all the time) etc. allow you to call OUT using WiFi but there are many limitations. Viber can only call a Viber-equipped platform. Skype can call plain old telephone service (POTS) but it costs you extra, and nobody can call you from POTS unless you pay to have a dedicated phone number; but then your friends have to keep track of two different numbers to reach you (cell and Skype).
As far as I know, only T-Mobile's "WiFi Calling" feature makes the whole WiFi thing transparent. You get a call on your cell number, your phone rings, you answer it. You pick up your phone, dial the thing like normal, and it works.
Most people I know will try my cell number and if I don't answer will leave a message; that's it. Many of them (the horror!) do not have iPhones or are simply not interested in exploring Skype, Viber, or the latest FaceTime improvements. They want to dial my number and talk to me, not enjoy a technology adventure. For receiving ordinary calls, the snazzy WiFi telecom apps are helpless.
If Apple implemented WiFi Calling I'd probably switch to T-Mobile pretty quick.
