I have been using firefox aurora 7 for mac. Most of my handful of add-ons have been disabled -- including Read It Later and Feedly, which I was making good use of. Can you tell me when they will be enabled for firefox aurora 7? Maybe I should go back to firefox 6

You can use the Tab key to select a search engine on the bottom bar and press Enter to use the search engine to do the search.
In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.
You can type one letter to make a drop-down list appear where you can see suggestions and see the used search engine and that also has bar at the bottom where you can select other search engines that are enabled via the Search tab in Options/Preferences.
You can use the Tab key to select one of the other available search engines and press the Enter key to search with the selected search engine.
Click the search engine icon and click "Change Search Settings" to open the Search tab in Options/Preferences (positioned between Tabs and Content) to select the default search engine and select which search engines to show in the search bar drop-down list that opens when you start typing search terms.

  • When will my cabinet get the infinity upgrade?

    Hello,
I was wondering whether someone could check when my cabinet is due for the upgrade?
It states that I am in phase 6a, however I have checked other areas in Preston, they are in phase 6b for example and they have had their cabinets deployed.
It seems that for some reason mine has been missed, and it would be helpful to have some further information.
    Thanks

All the information is conflicting. When I check the BT Wholesale Checker it states:
Your cabinet is planned to have WBC FTTC by 31st March 2012. Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 40Mbps and upstream line speed of 6.5Mbps.
This probably means that you aren't actually connected to the cabinet which is listed as serving your postcode in the spreadsheet (a common occurrence). Another reason to take the information in it with a pinch of salt

  • How/when categories will be enabled for Calendar

    Hello,
I am really missing the categories in the calendar application as Iwant to synchronise many calendars coming from different activities (personal life, my company, the customers i work for..., the f1 champioship..).
How is it possible to put pressure on this feature already available for contacts, emails, tasks.
Is there a place to follow-up or to be warned when this feature will be available. Is is a great disapointement for me not to have it as a new BB. This is present in PDA for more than years!!!
    Kind Regards
    Christophe

I would like to add to this request!!  I use Labels to keep my schedule seperate from my childrens.  I would use Categories, however as you stated that is not an option.  Plus, I use categories to seperate my childrens events.  I totally know whats going on when I look at the schedule on the computer and totally lost when I look at my BB!!!  Does anyone know who we can contact!!

  • Exchange upgraded for Infinity, but online checker...

    Hi all,
not sure how simple this question is, but I'll ask it anyway as the online live chat with BT doesn't garner any useful info - they probably don't have it readily available.
I live in Fair Oak, and the exchange here, as well as Eastleigh, have been enabled for Infinity. Eastleigh is 2 miles down the road. My parents live in Eastleigh and they are able to get Infinity, but I'm not. The online checker states that it isn't rolled our here yet, but I know that Fair Oak exchange has been upgraded (again, another BT online checker states it has been completed already - as has Eastleigh)
My question is this; how long after an exchange is upgraded are all numbers migrated to use the Infinity service?
    Thanks

    Hi BET,
If you fill out our contact webform (you'll find the link in my profile) and provide your full address and postcode I'll see what I can find out for you and get back in touch.

  • BT INFINITY - Unacceptable Cabinet Enabling Delays...

    Hi,
My local exchange (Prescot) was enabled over 2 years ago in March 2012, and I was initlally assured that BT Infinity would be installed in my home within 3 months, as I only live approx 1.5 miles from the Prescot exchange.
However, the 3 month deadline came and went. And, in fact, this 3 month window has been now been rolled forward 12 times to the end June, 2014.
Initially, I was able to contact the BT Openreach website for updates, but this servive has now been withdrawn, and there is no "contact us" for individual customers now. The same is also true for BT Openreach - again no individual enquires can be made to them.
The main problem is that my local cabinet (CAB 1) has not yet been enabled for some reason - and I have had a devil of a time trying to find out why. Iwas initially advised that the was a planning issue with Knowsley Council. However, I was lucky that I know the planning director personally assured me that no planning applications had been received. And, in fact, they have been trying to promote the rollout throughout the borough in order to promote communication in order to assist in providing jobs
I have lodged 2 complaints via the BT Infinity website the lastest being yesterday.
I received a phone call today from a BT Retail call-centre located in India to advise me that I need to lodge a complaint with Sky - my current provider!!!????
I explained that BT owned my local exchange, and BT owned my local cabinet, and BT were laying the fibre-optic cable, so why ring Sky????????? Also, I want to move from Sky to BT Infinity as my landline is with BT.
But they said they couldn't help - I would need to contact BT Openworld or BT Openreach. And then I asked a simple question "Could they not forward my complaint to BT Openreach or BT Openreach as I cannot contact them direct - and the answer was NO!!!!
UNBELIEVABLE!! Call me old-fashioned , but it just seems amazing that a global communications company cannot communicate with itself!!!!!!! I asked them several time!s...could they not sent BT Openreach an email ie copy/paste my complaint into an email and forward it on. Answer = no! Can they, or a colleague, give them a call to find out what is causing the delay. Answer = no! Can they not just forward my complaint onwards? Answer = no!
Like I say, it's just unbelievable that a global comminications giant cannot communicate with it's own sister companies!!!
So my next step is to contact my local MP: Shawn Woodward in an effort to find out exaxtly what the problem is, and the reasons for the 2 years plus delay to lay a fibre optical cable one mile down a main road. I also live on a housing estate adjoining a large newly built general hospital, so there shouldn't be a problem with cabling ducts etc.
    So there we are...rant over!
But BT is NOT very good on communication. Completely appalling, in fact! On a score of 1 to 10....a resounding zero!!!
    Customer service...an absolute joke.

BT has not started installing a new cabinet yet, so I cannot see the current dealine for the end of June being realised...yet again. And no specific reasons for the delay, just a generic dscription of possible reasons
But your post was verp helpful....thanks. (I have received more help/advice offf you than BT!)

  • What are the ports required for the Audio, Video and A/V conferencing when the following end points are enabled for QoS in Lync 2013 server?

    Hi All,
What are the ports required for the Audio, Video and A/V conferencing when the following clients are enabled for QoS in Lync 2013 server?
    Client Type
Port range  and Protocol required for Audio
Port range and Protocol required for
    Video
Port range and Protocol required for
    A/Vconferencing
    Windows Desktop   Client
    Windows mobile App
    Iphone
    Ipad
    Andriod phone
    Andriod Tablet
    MAC desktop client
    Please advise. Many Thanks.

Out of the box, 1024-65535 for all of the client ports.  :)
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398833.aspx
You'll want to tune your client ports a bit
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj204760.aspx as seen here, and then the client ports would use those ranges which is easier to set QoS markings.  I'm not sure the mobile clients respect that setting.
Elan's got the best writeup for Windows clients here:
    http://www.shudnow.net/2013/02/16/enabling-qos-for-lync-server-2013-and-various-clients-part-1/
However, the marking of the packets is the tricky part.  Windows can do it via Group Policy, but for the other clients you'll need to have the network specifically prioritize ports regardless of DSCP markings.  You have to do it based on ports
as the traffic could be peer to peer.

  • When using working apple ID keep getting message cookies are disabled but they are enabled for visited and also tried always

I gave an ipod touch 4 to my youngest son for his birthday.
Installed iTunes and updated firmware to 4.3.5 (8L1); all OK
Created Apple ID and can logon to this using computer.
When using the working apple ID on the iPod however, keep getting message cookies are disabled. This after it directs to review the new accoutn info.
But cookies are enabled for 'visted'. Also tried 'always'
    Also tried hard reset.
Spent a whole day trying to get an apple dev working; still can't use any app.
Needless to say my son is very disappinted (and so am I) :-(
Is there any way to get this working, or should I simply ask for a refund?

Head to Settings -> Safari and tap Clear History, Clear Cookies, and Clear Cache and see if that does any good.
What happens when you rewiew the account info?  Do you verify the provided information?

  • AWM error when enabling for discoverer.

    Hi,
I am experiencing some difficulties enabling my analytic workspace for discoverer. I have a created a workspace based on a cube with 1 fact and 2 dimensions. I used Oracle Enterprise Manager 9.2.0.1.0 to create my meta data and AWM 9.2.0.4.1D to create the workspace. When I enable for discoverer plus in AWM it takes me through the wizard and at the end when I click on finish, I get an absolutely non descriptive error...it is: "dataprovider error initializing the AW". I go to the awmrun.log file to see what happened, and it is also confusing. There is a SQLException underneath, but it doesn't say what the overflow was on:

When I try to access iTunes Connect I receive the following error: Your Apple ID isn’t enabled for iTunes Connect. Everything I have read says to use your Apple ID, which I have used. But I still cannot sign into iTunes Connect. I have enrolled in the iOS Developer Program and have received email confirmation from Apple Developer Program. I have contacted Apple Support and have not heard back from them yet and of course it is Sunday and they are only open from M-F 9-7cst. Has anyone else had this problem? What can be done to fix this problem?

I just had this happen to me too. I read that my apple id (the one that I couldn't log into iTC with) needs to have a credit card on file. So I opened iTunes, changed to my problematic account, which was brand new, entered a cc, and then went back over ot iTC.
I still couldn't log in. But I tried creating the account again, and this time, it worked. So I had to go back to the "front page" of iTC and start over after I entered a cc on iTunes.
    Hope that helps...

  • Cabinet activation for CF23 8PZ

Trying to find out when the cabinet for my street will be upgraded for Infinity, I am an infinity customer now for almost 3 years but am having to move across town. Found out that the exchange is ready but cabinet for my street is not, and struggling to find out when it will be ready.
Its going to be like going back to Dial up with the shocking speed of standard BT broadband,
    Help

    Hi woggle78,
The Openreach Superfast Fibre Broadband Scheme is being rolled out, done and managed by Openreach so BT Retail (a communication provider/ISP whom operates this forum) does not have much say as to when and if you will be able to get fibre broadband (FTTC or FTTP or equivalent) as that is up-to Openreach.
Also the "Superfast-Cymru" BDUK fibre rollout scheme across Wales is also helping to increase the accessibility to fibre broadband on-top of the "Superfast-Openreach" Commercial Scheme.
Your exchange maybe "Accepting Orders" for fibre broadband but your cabinet will also need to upgraded with a FTTC cabinet.
Not all the cabinets in a fibre enabled exchange area will be upgraded, so some areas in that exchange area will be unable to get fibre broadband at this current time.
If there is no mention of WBC FTTC when checking the BT Wholesale Database then unfortunately it looks like your cabinet isn't currently in Openreach's fibre broadband rollout plan.
Click here to see what your looking for in the BT Wholesale Database
I have had a look at the properties in CF23 8PZ and unfortunately most of the properties are connected to pcp (cabinet) 8 which hasn't been upgraded with a FTTC cabinet and does not currently feature in the Openreach Commercial fibre broadband rollout plan.
The Openreach Superfast Fibre Broadband rollout plans are still being added too.
So your cabinet may be upgraded in the future, though there is no public time scale on when that will be.
Please bear in mind that in some cases it may not be possible to provide FTTC broadband in areas due to:
    • Your line may be too far from the local street cabinet to have a stable FTTC broadband service such as BT Infinity service.
    • Your local street cabinet may not be suitable for fibre optic cables.
    • We haven't yet got the council's planning permission to do the necessary work at your local street cabinet.
    • Your home may not be suitable for fibre optic cables.
    • Your landlord may not have agreed to the fibre infrastructure being provided in your building (for example if you live in a flat).
    • There isn't a adequate power supply
    • Health and safety issues
    • No ducting or inadequate ducting
    • Not financially viable for Openreach to upgrade as part of the commercial fibre rollout
    plus lots more.
The build of the fibre broadband infrastructure in the area isn't always easy and can be very complex.
Unfortunately BT Retail (a communication provider/ISP who operates this forum) does not have much say as to when and if you will be able to get FTTC or FTTP/H based broadband such as BT Infinity.
You can register your interest for Fibre Broadband such as BT Infinity by going to http://www.superfast-cymru.com/where-and-when/register
You can keep checking the BT Wholesale Database and BT Infinity website for the most upto date information as these are updated regularly.
The Superfast Cymru When and Where website is: http://www.superfast-wales.com/where-and-when/

  • When will my cabinet be live?

Hello, For the past few months I have been keeping an eye on how BT Infinity is going and it sounds great. A few months ago probably after christmas, a fibre cabinet was installed across the street on where I live. Only one cabinet near the exchange has been enabled and another one near by is being tested which means it is going to be turned on. I would like to know when my cabinet will be live as I am very optimistic about BT infinity becuase I will need it for everything that I do. Street: Page Street Postcode: SW1P 4EX P.s: Apparently my exchange has already been enabled for fibe, does that mean I can order any time? Thanks.

go to this link and enter your phone number if your cabinet is live you will be able to order http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=34344

    Hi
My exhange (Oadby) is already enabled for BT Infinity - but not available on my line until Dec 31st.
A few months ago the checker said it would be available by 31st Sept !
I've looked at the reasons given here http://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infinity/BT-Infinity-has-reached-my-area-but-the-line-checker-says-I-c...
How do I find out if I will eventually get connected (or not) ?
    thanks

Toekneem beat me to it again....
In the thread below message #4 there is a picture of a typical Fibre cabinet sitting next to it's older little brother
    http://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infinity/How-can-I-find-my-cabinet-number-and-when-it-will-be-enabled/...
Edit there are a few varieties of fibre cabinets with some smaller, but the thing to look out for are cooling grills which as Toekneem mentioned if the cabinet is powered up you can easily hear the fans running.
And if so then your nearly set for Infinity and beyond!!!

  • Anyway of finding out when/if my cabinet is going ...

After having the date for my exchange (Isleworth) being pushed back for over a year the exchange i finally availabel for Infinity. Except it isn't for my property apparently. Or for the property of a friend of mine who lives 5 doors away from the telephone exchange.
I contacted Openreach tryign to find our why the exchange is listed as active but I can't order and asked when my cabinet will be enabled if that is the problem. I received this reply:
    "Thank you for your email
The only information Openreach can provide about the commercial  project is on the fibre rollout site :-
               http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/
If an area is not included in an initial deployment, as is the case with your connection, then there is no timescale for that location. The Government through their BDUK agency has made funds available to improve fibre coverage and is inviting applications from area Councils for funding.  Local Councils are submitting requests to their area Councils for them to include nominated locations in their funding applications and would suggest speaking with your Council on this.
Your Communications Provider (CP) is responsible for all aspects of your services including advising on those they can supply at your address. Openreach are a supplier to CPs and are restrained from dealing directly with their customers. Please contact your CP to register your interest in higher speed working so they are aware.
    Many thanks
    Peter Dean
    Openreach Enquirie"
Am I right in thinking that based on this email I ahve to wait for my local council to maybe get funds from central government to pay for cabinet upgrades or to pay for it themselves before I can get Infinity?
Is there anyway of finding out if my cabinet is included in a update plan?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Your Exchange ,Washington ,maybe accepting FTTC fibre broadband such as BT Infinity however you street cabinet may have not been upgraded or your on a Exchange Only (EO) Line.
However if your on a cabinet then it doesn't look like your cabinet is currently on Openreach's rollout plan.
I have also checked your postcode against the leaked Openreach cabinet datasheet for 2011 and unfortunately for your post code it states that the cabinet on your street/area is P38 which wasn't currently on the Openreach Fibre Broadband Rollout plan. However the leaked datasheets are now old so are out of date.
I'm afraid all you can do is wait and see if Openreach will add your Cabinet onto their Fibre Rollout Plans in the future, you may also want to register your interest for Fibre broadband.
You can register your interest for Fibre Broadband such as BT Infinity by going to http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/expression-gen.aspx
Please bear in mind that in some cases it may not be possible to provide FTTC broadband in areas due to:
    • Your phone line may be connected directly to the telephone exchange and not to a local street cabinet - (Exchange Only Line [EO] )
Unfortunately BT Retail (a communication provider/ISP who operates this forum) does not have much say as to when and if you will be able to get FTTC or FTTP/H based broadband such as BT Infinity.
The rollout of fibre broadband (FTTC or FTTP/H) is being planned, managed and done by Openreach for all communication provider/ISP. BT Retail (a communication provider/ISP) has nothing to do with the rollout and planning of fibre broadband.
You can keep checking the BT Wholesale Database and BT Infinity website for the most upto date information as these are updated regularly.
The openreach When and Where website is: http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/
Also look out for these FTTC Cabinets on/near your street/area. If you see one near your old cabinet then you maybe in luck for Fibre broadband.
**The Fibre-Optic Broadband Rollout is being managed and done by Openreach for all communication providers/ISPs.
BT Retail (your communication provider/ISP) has nothing to do with the rollout of fibre broadband.**
    Hope that helps.
    Cheers.
