When is my Iphone 5 delivered to me?
I pre-ordered my iphone 5 on the website, and havent been sent any updates on delivery, payment etc.
Can someone tell me if they've had the same problem and what they did to resolve it?? I called customer services, however, the line is extremely busy.
The money has not been taken out of my account which does tell me it has not yet been shipped, but i did pre-order it on the 12th sept, what is the delay?
called apple and complained and the 1st moron i spoke to said "sometimes these errors happen. and we dont have a solution for this. apple miscalculated the demand for this product." when i ripped her a new one she transferred me after a 40 minute wait at 11:30 pm to chris who is calling me back tomorrow to forward my call to sales support and his words of wisdom "we overbooked the deliveries of this product. unfortunately yes you are potentially in the next shipment of deliveries." i of course flipped a lid and let him know that i could have walked a mile at 545 am been 2nd in line at the ardmore apple store and flipping bought one on my own and not wasted a whole friggin day waiting for a phone that i got my booty up at 4 am 7 days prior to "pre-order" and wasted the last hour on hold waiting for you to tell me you that your company screwed up, lied and now cant do a thing about it after i waited on hold for 40 minutes. chris's response, " while i understand your displeasure unfortunately there is nothing i can do for you at this time as the office is closed. ill take your name and number and call you tomorrow when i get in at 1pm. what is your serial #." my response," i dont have a serial number!!!!!! i didnt get my flipping phone!!!!!!!!!! if i had an iphone 5 serial # we wouldn't be talking. hello- that's why im calling you!!!!!!"

I ordered on the 14th, and at like 6:00 A.M., Apple sent an email saying it had been shipped. When I tracked it, it most recently said that it had gone from China to a UPS in Zhengzouh, China, to another one in Zhengzouh I think. When will it be delivered? I am confused about whether or not China ships on the weekend, and the whole time zone difference and all that has confused me. So, will it be delivered Friday? Wednesday? I'd like to know when. I know they will probably tell me in a few days, but any idea now would be nice. By the way, I live in the US.
Well, originally, it said October 5th, but it also said that it would ship on the 28th, but it updated its status to "Shipped" today. When I tracked it, it is in China.

When syncing my iPhone with my iPhone, I get a message that 2 items did not sync - use iTunes for help.
But I can't find any help information in iTunes at all, let alone when items are not syncing.
How do I figure out what is not syncing?Since it seems App related, I'm not sure what to offer you. I guess the only suggestion I have is for you to reboot your iPad and then try again. To reboot, hold the power and home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds (keep holding past the swipe to shut down bar if it appears) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any settings or data, so it's worth a shot.

is there a capability to save/export the new airport 2TB time capsule settings file when using the iphone/ipad airport utility. set-up wasn't a problem but the "file" button does not exist on the latest airport utility app v6.3 to save the configuration file.

Sounds like you are a bit confused with version numbers.
Latest AirPort Utility version for the iPhone / iPad is 1.3.3. There is no option or capability to export/import settings on the iOS version(s) of AirPort Utility.....although you could take a series of screen shots and save them for future reference.
AirPort Utility 6.3.x is found on a Mac.....not on iPhone / iPad. Export and Import options are found under the File menu in 6.3.x. -
Pardon my ignorance. I have scoured the forums and no one seem to touch on the exact subject I am talking about.
I can't seem to update iCloud's calendar via my iPhone's calendar with all connectivity turned on (sync,push,pull,slap whatsoever).
Also, iCal on Mac follows iCloud (sluggishly and not due to connection problem, so i'd nice to have a status bar telling me whether or not it's active and doing some updating) so when I sync iPhone to Mac it becomes a even more confusing situation...
Simplified version:
-Events created on the iphone doesnt get on icloud.
-When iphone is synced with ical on mac and changes are made on Mac, changes are not immediately reflected on iphone unless clicked "sync"
-I just want to view a live ical at all times without going to safari and opening up the web iCal. I want to view a 100% live iCal on the native iCal via iPhone. Like google docs! Is that too much to ask!?
Iphone seemed to have a "push" or "sync in this many minutes" option for iCal, but that seemed like it's only receiving changes, and not send out changes made via phone. Very confusing, very annoying!Download iTunes using the tab at the top of this page. Then run the update with iTunes closed.

It may well be a driver issue but considering the loading: Xorg trying to load different drivers is somewhat normal. @cafe you can see that these are autoconfigured by X above the loading in the log:

Hi I'm not very computer literate so pls be gentle! I bought an iPad air two days ago and synch my photos using iTunes just fine.
Today for some reason I noticed all these white thumbnails on my laptop in the photos section. Stupidly I deleted all 600 of them and all my photis on the iPad immediately vanished. Later I restored the photos from the recycling bin to my photos
However now I try to re synch them there is no option to synch from ' my pictures' just each little folder ( whereas before I had a drop down box and could select which folders I wanted) however when I synch iphone it does offer the option
Anyway even if I synch each folder it will kep replacing the last one so I can only ever have one folder of photos on the iPad if u see?
How can I transfer my photos please?
And how can I get the option back of the drop down box and tick as many folders as I want?

Did you try recovery mode? Hold down the home button as you connect it to iTunes. iTunes should pop up a window that says "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode" and give you the option to restore.

Okay, that means with the latest iOS software, it requires the latest version of iTunes on the computer. Which computer OS platform are you using. Now you are saying that after downloading the latest version of iTunes that your iPhone is not being recognized by iTunes? Completely different thing, and the iTunes on the iPhone has nothing to do with that anyway. The iTunes on the iPhone is just for purchases.
If you are having trouble with the iPhone being recognized by iTunes, use the appropriate link for your computer OS for assistance.

Well, you can go into setting>mail, contacts, calendars>add new account or through iTunes you can plug your phone into your computer, open iTunes, select your device, then select info. I hope this helps. Au revoir!

When updating my iphone 4 for the first time I seem tohave lost all of my apps and the data on my apps. One of these apps was a camera and all of my photos are gone!! I had over 1000 pictures mostly of my children. I cant find them anywhere. Please help! How do i get all of my apps back with all of the data that was on them?? Thank you, LEC

I lost my Visual Voicemail when upgrading to iphone 5. New phone was set up from itunes backup of iphone4 but my Mac tells me there is an iCloud back up of my phone prior to this date. Will my Vis Voicemail be on this and can I get it on my new phone?
I see. Apple's documentation on what is included in the iCloud backup doesn't explicitly say that it contains voicemails, but that doesn't mean it does not. You would just have to try restoring the backup to find out.
To restore to your iCoud backup you have to start by erasing the phone. Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. Then go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud backup. You will then sign into your iCloud account, accept the terms and conditions, then choose the backup you wish to restore from. To see an older backup, you may need to tap "Show older backups" (see image below). Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this may take some time to finish.
If this does not recover your voicemails, you can check to see if you have an older iTunes backup that may contain them. Available backups are shown in iTunes Preferences>Devices on the Backups list.
If all else fails, you could try contacting your carrier. Voicemail is a carrier feature and they may have an archive you could access. -
When using my iPhone 4s front camera, the screen sometimes become black or have blue stripes on it! Is this a hardware or software problem? Can this issue be covered by my warranty?
