I wish we could at least see a beta on labs.adobe.com. Is that even a possibility?

Unfortunately, Adobe has not provided a date for Cloud availability in South Africa, nor other countries not listed in the FAQ. No-one knows why.

Beyond that there is no further info.

Why can't I use the creative cloud connection file syncing?

I hear people raving about it on twitter, so why am I only seeing a 'coming soon' message in the files tab of my creative cloud interface? I would very much like to use the file syncing to work between two computers! What is going on here? Is there some kind of area restriction going on for this service?

Creative Cloud isn’t available where I live. When will it become available?
We intend to make Creative Cloud as widely available as possible. Adobe will share more details about country availability over time.
But I haven't heard of any details or additional info about when or where.

When is the iphone 5s gold going to be available for shipping?

I'm plannig on ordering one. But I've read articles that it ran out of stock, and said it will be available this October. Does anyone know exactly when?

I place my order yesterday (Thursday) for the iPhone 5s Gold. Apple only charge my credit card about $15. they did not charge the total amount until the item is ready to be " Preparing for Shipment" which is the second stage. I received an alert from my bank the same day around midnight (Thursday) informing me my credit card was charge the full amount. When I log on to Apple.com to check my status the next day (Friday). I was inform that Since my item is now "preparing for Shipment" I will be receiving another e-mail shortly with shipping information. So to answer your question. It seem that Apple is picking up there speed now with there orders....
I have been reading allot of the discussion broad and per most of the customers. They have been waiting in the "Processing Order" stage ( stage one) for days in some cases about a week.
Apple has 3 stages.
Processing Order (Stage 1)
Preparing for Shipment (Stage 2)
Shipped (Stage 3)

Creative Cloud Connection Help Needs Mac Support

I'm very happy to see that the Creative Cloud Connection preview is now available.
I was VERY disappointed to see that the Help file only covers Windows computers. Please update it to support Macintoshes as well!

Creative Cloud Connection is the missing link.
Adobe you have dropped the ball (although I truly hope only for a short while), and frankly I am astounded. Never in my over 20 years of using your products has there been a mistake as big as this one (in my opinion and only with the products I have been using). I'll even cut you some slack on the first two versions of CS.
You give us 20GB of space for files. Great. Ican can drag and drop files to the site. Awesome. I can create as many folders for organization as I want. Wonderful. But, I can’t drag and drop from CC to my desktop - when I do I only get a jpg image of the icon on my desktop. That’s a “drag”. In order to actually share a file with another party, I have to make your image public and email a link to that party. Annoying. This is only good for collaboration with others on one design at a time, but in the real world there are usually at least half a dozen projects happening at one time with tight deadlines. Comments can be added to aid in the progress of a project, but that’s about it so far. And, I cannot download more than one file at a time right now. So much for file sharing and enhancing work flow. At this point, I can’t even share your CC workspace with another person, like I can with Dropbox. Sigh.
Adobe you have been promising the Creative Cloud Connection – desktop access to Creative Cloud files – since May. I’m in despair. Why is it not available yet, Adobe, why? You have said that it's coming soon since May - it's August Adobe - what is going on?????????

I suspect it's regrettably more a case of over-promising and under-delivering.
They've prematurely set some of the expectations of the Cloud features too high with the marketing copy.

Assuming the creative cloud connection works in a way that you can have a folder on your system which gets auto-uploaded:
Create a publish service to hard disk, which will populate that folder (in the file format desired in the cloud). You can use smart collections in that service so that any develop changes are automatically detected for republishing. This is something you need to trigger yourself, though - an advantage IMO, because it does not force you to slow down while you are still working.
If this does not meet your expectation please rephrase your initial question, as it seems to have been truncated.

How do you access the new training section for the Creative Cloud Update?

I have done all of the Adobe updates, but I don't see the new Training catergory at the top of the screen when I log into the Creative Cloud Connection next to the Apps and Files category.

The training will be available very soon. Both Training and Folder Sharing/Collaboration had "coming soon" shown briefly during the video.
And yes I am just as frustrated as you with something that is pre-announced that you cannot then immediately go and try.

Few Questions on the Creative Cloud

I have read that the Creative Cloud Connection will be released within the next few weeks which is great. I have a few questions about file uploading and the Creative Cloud Connection program.
I have a folder which I will upload. The contents of that folder will be updated periodically locally. I want to the files in that folder to stay up to date between my desktop and laptop. Will the Creative Cloud Connection program be able to do that?
If a file is changed that is already in the cloud will the program recognize the change and keep the cloud up-to-date?
I guess a little more information about exactly what the Creative Cloud Connection program will do would be nice.
On the topic of storage will I be able to upgrade from the standard 20 gb of storage that is available when/if needed? And how much will that be?
One other question:
When will Lightroom 4 be available via CC and why is it not available since it has been released?

Creative Cloud Connection will keep files between your desktop and the website in sync. You will be able to add, edit and delete files from either end and see the changes reflected in both.

There will be a way to get more than 20 GB of storage. The Adobe Creative Cloud FAQ http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html has a question and answer about this near the bottom:

Additional storage will be available for purchase later in 2012. If you have reached your storage limit, contact Adobe Customer Service.
