I place my order yesterday (Thursday) for the iPhone 5s Gold. Apple only charge my credit card about $15. they did not charge the total amount until the item is ready to be " Preparing for Shipment" which is the second stage. I received an alert from my bank the same day around midnight (Thursday) informing me my credit card was charge the full amount. When I log on to Apple.com to check my status the next day (Friday). I was inform that Since my item is now "preparing for Shipment" I will be receiving another e-mail shortly with shipping information. So to answer your question. It seem that Apple is picking up there speed now with there orders....
I have been reading allot of the discussion broad and per most of the customers. They have been waiting in the "Processing Order" stage ( stage one) for days in some cases about a week.
Apple has 3 stages.
Processing Order (Stage 1)
Preparing for Shipment (Stage 2)
Shipped (Stage 3) -

Just wondering...**** it's too long. I thought the motto "It's been way too long." Means that there is an update for the ipod touch. Since the CPU and GPU of the 5th gen. runs perfectly well on ios 7. On the ios 8. Everything, including apps run slowly. Another thing is, most apps now are only compatible with device having 1GB of ram. And is A6 & above. The ipad mini ruined the ipod touch because of being in the middle of an iphone and ipad.

I have used almost 8 GB of data on a 6 GB plan and that plan was put into effect by Verizon because I blew through 6 GB. Before for 2 years with two computers and one iphone never went over 1 GB. When is the data gobbling glitch going to be fixed between iphones and wifi hot spots like Verizon 4G?
Apple has not said when they are going to fix it. And tech people at Verizon and ATT don't have a clue as to why it is happening. At least they gave me a credit on the usage. Users on other forums think it is a problem with ios 6 making iphones use up wifi data and it looks as if the wifi 4G device is using up all the data.

is there a capability to save/export the new airport 2TB time capsule settings file when using the iphone/ipad airport utility. set-up wasn't a problem but the "file" button does not exist on the latest airport utility app v6.3 to save the configuration file.

Sounds like you are a bit confused with version numbers.
Latest AirPort Utility version for the iPhone / iPad is 1.3.3. There is no option or capability to export/import settings on the iOS version(s) of AirPort Utility.....although you could take a series of screen shots and save them for future reference.
AirPort Utility 6.3.x is found on a Mac.....not on iPhone / iPad. Export and Import options are found under the File menu in 6.3.x.
