i am planning to take iphone 4s from US.. but heard tat factory unlocked version will only be available by mid november.. still not stocked in apple us online store.. from this forum i heard that it will be launched in india by nov 24.. will it cost more in india when it get launched..?

I might also add, there is always the misbelief that an upgrade will necessarily fix "problems" reported on this board. Most problems on this board are user induced, or caused by user misunderstanding. If you want to find out if upgrading to 10.7.5 to 10.8.5 will make any difference for you, ask on the software and hardware vendors you depend on, and on this board if people have tested what you depend on with the operating system in question. Backup your data prior to doing any updates.

Hi well let me be clear.last year the iPhone was bought from someone traveling to honkong.i did not get it cheap it was a new phone and what is the use of getting a phone after 1 year six months.thats when the iPhone came to India.I paid more than what u selling the iPhones in India.now I have bought the iPad in India now.we are ready to pay for the repair charges.my phone work excellent it's just the home button.please don't say I was saving some buck I paid from my hard earned salary.it was nearly 800$ in Indian rupees.i love ur products.i offen make people buy ur products in Istore talking Good about them.if I new this phone would have problem I would wait for it to com to India.i work when i was 18years in one of the best handbag stores in India as a managelabor 20 years and I know how important is customer satisfaction and service as till date I give it to them at there door step.i even buy ur expensive softwares.i never had a problem with my 3G and 3GS iPhone in the past.regards vijay

My guess is that this is the first batch of C6-00 which has been made available and am yet to read a post which mentions ZERO defect/ problem in C6-00.
I do like this phone and its features except for this niggling problem of hanging.. And, I do hope Nokia releases the patch as they have identified the root cause (best known to them)..
Am not sure if you are using this phone.. it would be of great help to users like me if you can assist in getting this issue of un-predictable hang/ freeze of phone removed... Thanks again!

That sounds extremely phishy to me... iTunes does not require authentication simply to launch it. I suspect you've got something nasty intercepting network traffic. That server may be set up to log the Apple ID that you enter so it can be used fraudulently. Try ComboFix from Bleeping Computer.
FWIW the domain mellor.co is registered to an accountants in Knutsford, Cheshire, UK, and produces the same authentication request if visited with a browser. There is no sign of a "real" publicly visible website at that domain which is a somewhat odd.

You need to select the "Manage My Account" link and not the "Reset Your Password" link. Once you use the "Manage My Account" it will ask you to log in and in there you should see which email addresses are verified.
