When is the Oracle 10.1.0.4 patchset available?

Hi,
Can someone tell me when the 10.1.0.4 patchset will be available please?
Cheers,
Warren

The first release, for Linux and Windows, was supposed to be on March 11, but it's still not out and they've clammed up about a new release date.
I can understand a schedule-slip, but they should have some idea of a new release date, you'd think.
This is the (obsolete) tentative schedule we got from Oracle support:
Intel Linux : March 11' 2005
MS WIndows NT : March 11 '2005
MS Windows 64bit : March 21 '2005
MS Windows Server 2003 : March 11 '2005
MS Windows XP : March 11 '2005
MS Windows XP 64 Bit : MArch 21 '2005
Sun Spark Solaris 64 Bit : March 25 '2005
Sun Solaris V2 Intel : April 11 '2005

  • How to hide system tables when using the Oracle SQL Developer?

    Hi,
I would like to know how can I show only the tables that I created under the Tables tree? I didnt find a way to create a separate database using the Oracle Sql Developer. I see all the tables together, and would like to differentiate between different databases.
Can anyone explain to me how to do these things?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
I would like to know how can I show only the tables that I created under the Tables tree? Your posting is not clear, again tell something more on tables tree, what u want to achieve with it.
How to hide system tables when using the Oracle SQL Developer? if u connected with sys, system or user with dba role then u have a privilege to see these tables,so revoke the privilege/role from ur user to view this tables if ur connected other then sys, system,
I didnt find a way to create a separate database using the Oracle Sql Developer. DBCA is a tool for creating the new database.

  • When is the new Google Search app gonna be available?

    Hi All,
When is the new Google Search app gonna be available?
Why Apple is taking so long to approve it?
    Any idea?

Tks Bmg but according to the below URL, Google submitted the new APP on August....
    http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/another-way-apples-fight-with-google-is-hur ting-users.php
That's why I started this discussion to find out why this app didn't reach the appstore yet. I know it does a lot of waht Siri does but it's not fully integrated to iOS/hardware like Siri so, that's why I don't understand why Apple is taking so long to approve it nor to disclose why they are not approving.
I didn't find any info about google app not being within the guidelines of Apples terms and conditions too...
and in regards to the maps, that's a good point but it could use maps.google.com like it currently does so I don't think it should be a big deal right?
    Thanks again.

    Hi,
Do you know, When does the new version of J2EE will be available?
Who can we ask for improvements or fixes? Or it is just the people that has bought suport?
I hope they can release 'pingConnectionPool' code, so people can trace jdbc driver problems.
    Thanks,

    Thanks for your concern,
Well, to tell the truth, the same driver is working ok in the application server without a connection pool with "connection = DriverManager.getConnection(url, username, password)".
Also works ok on IBM websphere, Jakarta Tomcat, with or without pool. Its is just Sun's connection pool. Also I have seen other threads showing JSK 1.4 is not quite compatible like this one:
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=136&thread=499803&tstart=0&trange=15
I tried every conceivable parameter; even I looked at the proper documentation at
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r1/ic2924/index.htm?info/rzahh/page1.htm
and forums, and it seems that no one can know or can help us about this error because is particulary at Sun app server. So this is the server.log:

  • Server fails when installed the Oracle Developper Suite 10 g

    Hi all,
I am facing a problem which is that the server fails to connect after I istalled the Oracle Developper Suite 10 g. I am using Oracle 10g for vista and I followed exactly the instructions that were posted before.
I typed in the command prompt 'tnsping <my_database_name>', and I got the follwinf error: TNS-03505: Failed to Resolve Name.
When I deinstalled the Oracle Developper Suite, I could easily get connected after typing the same instructions.
    Thanks in advance
    Michael

The server does not work once the Oracle Development
Suite is installed. When I deinstall this Oracle
Development Suite, the server starts working again. I
mean by "server fails to connect" that when I type in
the command prompt 'tnsping <my_database_name>' the
operation fails. I do not mean that the client fails
to connect to the server, of course the connection
between the client and server could not be
established as the server is already down.Hi Michael,
On Windows each new Oracle install puts itself at the front of the system path, i.e. assuming that you want to use the new environment by default. You can correct this either by editing the path manually or else by firing up the Universal Installer, selecting the "Installed Products" button and then clicking the environment tab.
Name resolution is (ignoring fancy things like directory service support etc) done by each Oracle Home by first examining the contents of the network configuration files in a directory pointed to by the TNS_ADMIN environment variable, then by examining the files in the %ORACLE_HOME%\NETWORK\ADMIN directory where %ORACLE_HOME% is the oracle home for the executable being called. Thus when you've run tnsping you've picked up tnsping from the new developer suite install and it uses the files in it's oracle home to resolve the service name (and fails).
    You can correct this by
    1) setting TNS_ADMIN and maintaining files in one location.
    2) copying the network configuration files from the server oracle home to the developer suite oracle home.

  • When will the new OWB 10g release 2 be available?

    HI...
I would like to know if there is a timetable to
download in the OTN site about the new version of OWB 10g release 2..
I saw the the new version of this tool last year in the Oracle Open World and I am very curious to do some test and implement in our production environment.
    We are using OWB 10.1.0.2..
    Thanks

    Good morning Tracy,
According to Oracle OWB is going to be part of Oracle Business Intelligence... at some stage in the future.
Right now BI10g consists of the following (check link at http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/index.html):
    Oracle Business Intelligence
    ... Oracle Business Intelligence Discoverer
    ... Oracle HTTP Server
... Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE (OC4J)
... Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control
... Oracle Application Server Web Cache
No OWB10gR2 as you can see.
Metalink rang me earlier this week for some TAR, and they were hoping to see OWB10gR2 released this year... this implies that we have to count ourselves lucky if that means december. At the moment they're working hard to get a stable product out, guess there are more serious bugs to solve than they had anticipated on previously.
    Cheers, Patrick

  • When will the iPod touch 16gb 5th gen be available in stores?

Im trying to buy the ipod touch 5th generation but it is not availble any where but i want to buy it from Apple. All i see is the 64gb and 32gb but no 16gb. When will the 16gb be selling?

There is no 16GB model in 5th generation. There is no reason to assume that there ever will be.
Consider the following fact; the 16GB 4th generation was released only when the 5th generation 32 & 64 GB models were.
So, without "speculating", what is it safe to assume now?

This is a known problem. It appears that you may be trying to map a non supported relationship. The OMWB does not support relationships based on queries, only queries based on tables are supported. To get around you hanging problem remove the non supported query and regenerate the xml file. Now try a capture and mapping phase. Hope this helps you get around your problem.
