When is the Zen V & Zen V Plus availabe in Austral

Hi,
I was wandering if anyone has any release info on the Zen V & Zen V plus for the Australia region? Knowing Creative Australia, by the time it get's here it will be 'uped by Crapple!

Creative announced US pricing of $30, $70, and $230 for the gig, 2 gig, and 4 gig model. Those higher numbers you see are in Singapore dollars. Often if a price is in Singapore dollars there is an S before the price. The exchange rate is roughly .6 Singapore Dollars equals one US dollar.

My mp3 player (zen micro) is broken. Properly properly broken, and I'd like to replace it. The player I've got my eye on is the Zen V plus, but 4gb isn't really enough. I'm in the UK, and I'd be very interested to hear when the 8gb version is due out here. Any ideas? Thanks. -Emma

96 kbps? If you want good sound and are using high quality headphones I would suggest using 256 kb
    ps.
I use 256 kbps mp3 on my mp3 player. I tried 320 kbps and could not hear a difference between it and 256 kbps on my mp3 player. I could hear the difference between 92 kbps and 256 kb
    ps.
I don't use WMA since WMA uses more battery power and gives you less run time per charge. It isn't a contest to see how many songs can be crammed into the player, but it is instead about enjoying the music. What good is having hundreds of hours of music crammed into a player if the battery life is 5 hours or less?

  • I can't install the Zen nano Plus software on my pc. He

Hi,I've read some people have the same problem I do, but no solutuion. When I try to install the zen nano plus cd that came in the package, it comes up with a window saying : "the windows operating system running on this computer is not supported by this product". The nano plus is supposed to work with windows ME which I have?and I think I meet all the other requirements. Could they have mislabeled a cd?I tried installing it with the antivirus turned off with ca antivirus. Thanks for any help,Joe?

I just went to the page?http://us.creative.com/support/downl...ype=0&x=29&y=6and downloaded the Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 3.30.2 file after filling all the info out in the drop down menus. I just installed it and I was good to go. The only issue I really had was installing the application from the CD which I mentioned earlier. But the application from the website installed with no problem whatsoever. I wish I could tell you something that would help as I know your frustration. Are you sure you downloaded the correct version for ME?You might ask someone if you really need this application to put music on you device because it seems like your device just acts like another dri've and you can just drag and drop into your device. I'm not sure about that so ask st so it doesn't mess up you player.or you might be able to use some other apllication to transfer your files to the player?Good luck and be persistent,JoeMessage Edited by joenanoplus on 2-26-200608:3 AM

  • Can the Zen Stone Plus coexist with iTun

I am a runner and I am interested in the Zen Stone Plus. I use iTunes and various iPods. How would the Zen software coexist with iTunes.
Most of the music in my library is from?my own CD's?and not from the iTunes Store. Thank you. Bob Michiel?

Yes, the softwares can co-exists with each other. However the iTunes would not work with the Zen Stone Plus.

  • ***Best Bit Rate To Use For The Zen V Plus 8GB

I've got the zen v plus (8gb) and I was just wondering what is the best bit rate to use, I've currently got ,32 tracks at "64kbps wma" on my zen micro(6gb) and I'm getting a bit tempted to enhance the quality of the tracks (to maybe 96kbps wma), but I don't want the space on my 8gb v plus to be consumed quickly.
Thanx if anyone could give me any ideas

  • Will Zencast Organiser support the Zen Nano Plus in the futu

I would like to know whether a future release of Zencast Organiser will support the Zen Nano Plus and similar players in Zencast Transfer. Or is this only possible for MTP players? Also items from a particular channel need to be played back on players?(normal play mode) by date (oldest first) and not alphanumerically by file name, or at least for this option to be introduced. I like to hear my podcasts in date order. Surely this makes sense and wouldn't be too difficult to introduce into Zencast transfer?

I have the same problem with my Zen Nano Plus gb player, only it shows up under "Other Devices"

When is the Lollipop update for A600 plus?

    Good day.
    Do you mean: A6000 Plus?
I don't see A600 or A600 Plus listed in the Android Upgrade Matix: https://support.lenovo.com/in/hi/documents/ht101396

  • Can you put subfolders into you folders in the Zen V Plus..

for instance videos. Can you have diff sub folders named like music...etc under videos? Thanks

    Yes- Easy!
When you have your Creative Media Explorer open and your portable device connected, you will see your Zen V Series Media Explorer in the SOURCE window in the upper LH corner. Click on the "+" in front of the Zen V Series icon and it will display the list of folders on the device.
Right click on the main folder for the category you want to put the sub folder in and you will get a drop down menu.
Select "New folder" and you will get the "New Folder" box asking you what name you want for your new folder. It's that easy.

  • When is the Zen Neeon coming out in the U.

I'm the satisfied owner of a zen micro, but I was just wondering when the neeon is coming out in the U.S. And also, is the battery life that much better than the micro? I might be persuaded to buy another 5 Gig mp3 player cause I'm just that shallow.

It's going to be like 200 bucks... I don't think that's all that much money... especially, if your a mooch like I am... I already have the adapter from the zen micro, and if it comes out and it's way better I just might try and sell that to my aunt... It's not like these things are 4 and 500 bucks a pop... It's not cheap though... I realize that.

  • Does anyone know how long the warranties on the Zen Nana Plus' are good f

Yesterday my Nano Plus stopped powering on and shortly before that the player would just cut off for no reason. I've only had the unit for about 6 or 7 months but I no longer have the sales receipt, does anyone know if I can still return it to Creative for a replacement? Or does the warranty not cover that kind of thing?

I assume you dont mean Nano Plus, as Nano is iPod... It's a Zen V Plus, probably?Anyway, I believe you should have at least a year's warranty on the player, so if you get in touch with Creative Tech Support they should be able to give you an RMA to send it back and either repair or replace it at no cost. I assume someone from Creative will come on later to confirm, deny or amend this. TH?

  • Will the ZEN V plus work with WIN 2K or should I get an I-po

I take it that the zen Vplus will not work on Win 2k ? Does it only work on Win XP or higher ?
Is their any known working software for this thing that will work on Win 2K or do I need to upgrade my op sys ?
I tried downloading some Win 2k software for my ZEN Vplus from the creative web site but unfortunately when trying to install it it gives an error message that a file is missing but in typical useless Windows fashion it does not indicate what the missing file is.
Anyone have any ideas before I take this thing out to the skeet shooting range and get an I-pod as a replacement ?
    M

Sorry to hear that it is also flaky with windows XP, now I won't waste my money to upgrade to XP.
I know it's a Windows problem more than a creative one, you just gotta love any software that has to interface with anything by Microsoft and feel sorry for the 3rd party programmers at the same time.
I download the creative media center for Win 2K (CMSS)and the ZEN V+ along with Win 2k service pack 4, Microsoft DirectX? 9.0 basically all the required files that CMSS list and it still will not install correctly.
I just wish there was a way for the Creative installer to tell me what the other missing file is.

  • I need opinions on the Zen V Plus 2GB MP3 Video Pla

Im thinking about getting one for my birthday. Any opinons?

Bacon, You should read some of the posts about connectivity issues before you invest in this. I'm having a huge problem that seeminly can't be solved, and if you start looking through forum posts over the last week you'll see A LOT of people are having the same problem. In my case, the Zen worked great for about 6 weeks; then, all of a sudden, halfway through ripping a CD the software stopped recognizing the player. The player says it's docked; the computer says the players connected, but the software to run the thing says it's NOT connected, although it clearly is. I've tried everything under the sun; I tried the advice listed on this website; I tried the advice of the technicians at Creative; nothing works, and I'm taking my player back to the store today after work. I really liked it for the first six weeks I had it, but now it's useless and I'm not alone in that. Just read the forums.....there are a lot of us having this same problem.

  • When is the zen micro photo coming o

when is it coming out in canada can someone please help me
    please
    please
    please!!!!!!!!!
    thanx

I wouldn't wait if I were you... why should you put your life on hold for the ZMP?
I got mine and was sorely dissappointed. Whenever I play photos, my mp3 music shuts off - so much for a MP3 player.
That's because it can't play photos and music at the same time... so why call it a photo mp3 player?
Only the iPod Nano can do that and moreover, the Nano can shuffle photos so you don't see the same pictures over and over again as in sequential mode. iPodders are having all the fun.
But considering that the photo is $20 more with color display and 2 extra GBs, for an extra $20 over the 6GB version makes sense.
But if you really truly want a multimedia player (plays more than one media at a time), you can write creative and request they do that and ask all your friends to do the same... that way, they'll get the message and make a firmware update... or you can just get a Nano and it's available now - no waiting!

  • Does the Zen V Plus record in anything higher than 128k bitr

If so how do you adjust it ?

On my box there is a small '' next to the '2000 songs' (4GB).
If you look round the back of the box, you can find the corresponding note:
'Based on 4 minutes per song ad 64kbps WMA. GB = 1000,000,000 bytes. Available capacity will be less. Reported capacity will vary.'
Almost no one uses 64kbps cos is sounds crap. It's a simple equation: better quality = bigger files = less songs.
