When I run from shell with all above conditions
following thing happens

at this point it stops, no thunderbird is launched
but the command is still in execution with a curser blinking
then when i disconnect my network cable or wifi the thunderbird gets launched after exact 3-4 minutes

BI 4.0 Launch Pad will Freeze When Attempting to Schedule a Report

I recently set up BI 4.0 Edge series onto my server running MicroSoft server 2008 R2. The install completed without error so I began implementing 'Best Practice' Crystal Reports. When attempting to schedule these reports within the BI 4.0 launch pad I ran into an issue.
After clicking 'Schedule' the IE browser freezes with the schedule options available to be seen but not interact with and the loading pinwheel frozen in the center of the screen.
I am running IE9 but I have run both IE8 and IE9 on other systems without fail so I don't think that's the issue. I've also tried resizing the APS to allow more RAM to the platform processes as well as split the services into separate servers all without success.
The browser also freezes when I attempt to click the 'Preferences' button on the launch pad home page, but I can open the Web Intelligence Application with no problems.
This is a particularly frustrating issue since I can navigate within the CMC with excellent response time from the system. The rest of the launch pad is as reponsive as the CMC. I can navigate in and out of folders fine, but when I try any command by right-clicking on a report
If anyone has any suggestions on what could be causing the browser to freeze during these transactions I would greatly appreciate it. Iu2019ve tried to run a Repair on the Edge series application and I would like to avoid a complete re-install.

Only IE8 is supported, how about another browser like Firefox on same machine. No need to re-install, you can try to undeploy -> redeploy the web app using WDeploy but it seems to be machine specific.

Help! Why are Scheduled Tasks launching randomly?

I manage a resource of Macs as an Admin using Apple Remote Desktop 3.3.2
I have created various UNIX and saved commands which are scheduled to launch daily at set times. This has previously worked fine, all tasks running at set times.
However, now in a rather disconcerting way, the said tasks are launching outside of the times specified. Such as a Shutdown, scheduled daily at 16:45, is occurring at 09:40. The task fails to run at its scheduled time.
I've uninstalled ARD and reinstalled. Trashed the prefs and re-created the tasks. The rouge processes still happens.
Has anyone any idea what could be causing this and even better a resolution to stop it. I'd thought of using Automator as a workaround, but would rather try and solve the issue.

Thanks very much for the tip. I've checked the Date & Time settings. They are correct and set to UK GMT.
Sometimes I've noticed the tasks have launched around 12:00 and 09:00. Often when I've woken my admin Mac (permanently on) the tasks have launched. I can't see anything that would suggest a direct issue in Console.

When we change the quantity of an scheduling agreement in VA32 the error Update cancelled apperars. In ST22 there is a DUMP "The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records".
We have already implement the SAP note 1484401 but the error still remains,

this is an SQL error:
in your case, this comes when already a scheduling agreement is there and system is trying to re enter the same number in data base.
please check with an ABAPER and DEBUGG IT to solve it.

Schedule failed launching in Ultra Search

I am trying to launch a crawler immediately from the Schedule screen after created Ultra Search instance and file data source. The status is showing "Launching". After a while, I click Refresh status, the status is showing "Failed". Anyone knows why schedule failed launching? Is there any error log file that I can check to find out why it failed?

The log file for the crawler schedule should be explicitly listed in the information for the schedule. Please check the information for that schedule.
This log file will be located in the log directory that you've specified in the "crawler" tab.
Please locate the log file and let us know what you see in that.

AIR 3.3 stop background audio when another audio app is launched?

I currently have audio playing in the background in my AIR app for iOS. My problem is that when you have the audio playing in the background, and you launch any other audio app on your phone...the audio starts to overlap because my AIR app does not stop playing audio. So when you open Pandora, Music, IHeartRadio, Youtube, etc...the AIR audio still plays.
Is this fixed in the AIR 3.3 release with the <executeInBackground> tag? Or is there another way for my AIR app to recognize that another audio app is launching? All the afformentioned apps play nice together like that.
I would think this would be grounds for not being accepted in the iTunes store.
I really need some answers because my app is set to go live soon and this will be a game changer if I cannot fix it. I will probably have to try and create it in objective C

It is very unfortunate that there is not a solution to this. It seems that building an audio/music player app via AIR for iOS is not really feasable due to this limitation.
I would think the use case would be larger for my case because typically, when you launch a game on your iPhone, the background audio application stops the music. Or maybe just have a listener that could detect if another app was launched at least, so you could stop your AIR audio by choice. That would be great.
Do you see this as grounds for an audio app being rejected? If the background audio does not stop unless you physically go back into the app and pause it?

Error when editing Broadcast Scheduling Settings

We are experiencing a problem when editing Broadcast Schedule settings. The message that appears is:
[code] Java system error: Server repository could not create function template for 'RSRD_X_GET_INFO_PROXY' caused by: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103)

To produce this error:
1. Open a web template in the browser, then click on the Broadcast button
2. In the first screen that opens, click on the link that takes us to the scheduling settings
3. Right-click on an existing schedule setting, select EDIT
4. A popup screen appears informing me that there was an error loading the template,then if I click on a tab or try to do anything further, I get a screen with the above error message.
Any ideas?

issue is related to the user booking time against a task that was past the finish/end date listed in the Project Schedule.
To resolve the user needs to submit their time on a valid task that is still within the current reporting timeframe, or have the Project Manager
update the task in questions so that the finish/end dates are at or beyond the submission period and then republish the project. After that, the user should be able to go in and submit their timesheet with success.
