I started to get the following error every time I open Firefox. The message is chrome://webvideodownloader/content/webvideodownloaderbar.js:172
I started getting this message when I updated to Firefox 5. Every time, and I mean this literally, I open Firefox the above message appears. A box appears in the top right corner. Strange thing is that the whole box doesn't appear and the error doesn't appear completely either. It is like half the box is cut off at the screen's edge.
When this box appears there are two buttons: Continue and Stop. I have to click on one or the other for the Firefox browser to open. I looked at my plugins but don't see one with this location.
Please help.

That can be caused by clearing the cookies via "Clear Recent History".

* Firefox > History > Clear Recent History or Tools > Clear Recent History
If you use "Clear Recent History" to clear the cookies then Firefox also tries to clear the cookies from plugins like Flash (LSO) and starts a plugin-container process for each plugin and that can add extra time and can cause an unresponsive script error to appear.
Make sure that all plugins are up to date.
Try to exclude the cookies to see if that helps.
Let all cookies expire when you close Firefox to remove unwanted cookies and keep the ones with an allow exception.
Make sure that you do not clear the "Site Preferences" as that will remove all exceptions.

Why do I constantly get "DNS lookup error" messages and have to reload a page 5-10 times before it will actually load?

This seems to be happening more and more frequently. I am running Firefox 23.0.1 on Mac OS 10.8.4. It even happens on the Mozilla support page. It used to happen every so often; now it happens at least 50% of the time.

When closing Firefox, I get an application error message saying the instruction at "0x100f2eaa" referenced memory at "0x00000024", the memory could not be "read". Check on ok to terminate the program. What's up?

Don't know that this is causing problems during utilization of Firefox but it's been happening for awhile. Seems to only pop up when I exit the internet.

It seems that scrolling is causing the crashes. I am now opening and navigating in the 'Load Audio Sample' dialogue window in a manner that avoids scrolling, and so far no more crashes. Fingers crossed!

You can o a malware check with a few malware scan programs. 
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

I have an iPad 2and have not had any trouble until I up dated my os. I have a pc with win 7. I do not sync since I have so much music on my computer. I synced my apps during the back up but I had to manually reload my music and videos. Since then I turned off all syncs.
Since I have to load all my movies on this has been happening. I get through about 4 movies then it will hang up. I eventually get an error message that it cannot load this movie. I then attempts to close out. This seems to hang. When I attempt to eject the iPad it attempts to sync and that never finishes. I pull the plug and that stops the sync but I have to restart the computer before I plug back in the iPad or it will not recognize it or it will attempt to finish the sync which never ends. It sometimes hangs on something with safari and site protection.
After I restart my computer I can put in 4 or so movies, including the one it hung on before, but it always hangs up again. Any suggestions?

I am having an almost identical problem and hoped that iOS 6 and the new iTunes would fix it. Regrettably, I again got 3 movies synced last night before iTunes locked up and gave me the xxxx cannot be synced "because the file cannot be written" message. Same deal with iTunes hanging on "finishing sync" after that and me having to remove the iPad from the cable to get things to come back to life on the PC (Win 7 64 bit).
I've also done a factory restore followed by a restore from backup and have the same problem.

I upgraded 3GS to 4.3.1 last year. I upgraded my Dell 1st then synced my iPhone to upgrade it. Many apps that

The Apple Store @ Stanford said to bring my phone & PC into the store...the cost to fix the old PC & download ALL to my iPhone is frightening! I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)
