Trying to put a busy Cursor but ...confused why its not showing up

I have a Application and within it there are few HBox, List, VBOX , Canvas ......blah.. But one Vbox(vbox1) has a List(list1)
From List on itemClick I have a requirement of opening up a tree node by doing a lazy loading of the tree
And during this processing happens I wanted to show a busy cursor to let the user know that on item click the application is trying to load a tree and then open a particular node
Did the folllowing
CursorManager.setBusyCursor();
and
CursorManager.removeBusyCursor();
Also
var cusrorId:Number = CursorManager.setCursor(StyleManager.getStyleDeclaration("CursorManager").getStyle("busyC ursor"),CursorManagerPriority.HIGH)
and
CursorManager.removeCursor(cursorId)
Also
list1.cursorManager.setBusyCursor();
vbox1.cursorManager.setBusyCursor();
and
list1.cursorManager.removeBusyCursor();
vbox1.cursorManager.removeBusyCursor();
But after all this I didn't see any Busy Cursor
Busy Cursor is shown for few minutes if I put a Timer in between i.e after the ItemClick and before I trigger the processing of lazy loading of the tree
Guys any guesses
How can I make it work ? M I doing something wrong ? Please help

Is it a 2nd gen or a 3rd gen? Only the 3rd gen requires for power to be plugged in, however all cables need to be disconnected initially regardless of model.

Make sure you are connecting directly to computer, not a keyboard port or USB hub. Try a different cable.

You can try to restart the iPhone to exit recovery mode.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.

I am signed into itunes with my id and my iphone / ipad are also on this id but when i go in to manage devices its only showing the iphone. Also just up dated my ipad now its saying not charging when its hooked up to the computer?

If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.

Correct. You should request that FB change the way their app/system works.
The only work around I know of is to post using Siri.
In all likelihood, no one who reads your posts pays much attention to that anyway.

RESPONSES:
1)   When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2)   I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3)   So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. Log out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version of the account so as to 'refresh' it on it.

On my MacBook Pro, the time is correct up in the right hand corner on the blue line, but when I post something, it is two hours off. How can I correct it?

Is the timezone correctly set up on the Mac?
Cause the time may be right, but if the Mac announces being in an incorrect timezone, the server at the other end may be adjusting to what it thinks is the "right" time.

Where is it deleting the photos from? The Camera Roll? The Photo Stream album?
Have you exceeded one of the limits? The Photo Stream album will only keep the last 1000 photos and may remove the older photos, if you have more than 1000 photos in the stream.

i have made all the steps once i try to compile it it shows the folowing error:

The servlet API is contained in common/lib/servlet.jar under the Tomcat root directory. Simply add this file to your CLASSPATH and you will be able to compile HitServlet.java using javac. You can edit the CLASSPATH in the system properties or do it on the command line, as this Windows example demonstrates:
C:\>set CLASSPATH=\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.31\common\lib\servlet.jar
C:\>javac HitServlet.java
i have installed the tomcat and its working fine but i dont understand how to set the classpath , i tried to make it in control panel / system / envirement and put the classpath but its still doesnt work

In the iBooks application on the Mac, there is a checkbox to sync highlights and notes across devices.
I don't see a similar setting in the iBooks app on my iPad. It may require iBooks on the Mac as a mediator.
