When navigating back to a page with an IR, a different Saved Report shown

I have a page with an interactive report. I have several saved reports. One column has a link to another page in the application with address details. When I follow the link I correctly see the page. I click the "Back" button on the browser to get back to the interactive report. At this time, the saved report that is selected may not be the same as the one that was selected before I clicked the link.
How can I tell the currently displayed report id so that I can use that to populate an Item to be linked used as the Report ID Item?

the folks at Spashtop sent me a note indicating that its possible to get it to work remotely but they werent particularly clear as to how - especially with an aitport express

It sounds like you have chosen a publishing template rather than a word processing template. There are two basic modes in MS Word: word processing and publishing layout. Word processing mode (and all word processing templates) have a continuous text box in the page for writing text. The publishing layout mode (and publishing templates) are documents that have text boxes placed for articles, titles, pictures, etc. Be sure to choose the word document template and you’ll get what you expect. Do not choose the word publishing document.

Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists
is the problem with
iweb or with hosting?
One Apple tech started to fix Iweb and had to end session and the next said problem with hosting at Network Solutions as it published
to local folder. NWS has checked sttting a few times-
Any help would be extremely appreciated as trying to fix this for about five weeks

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Scroll to bookmark when navigating back to page

Hello all,
I have page 100 that is long. I've scrolled down and clicked on a search button that takes be to page 200. When I navigate back to page 100 I'd like it to return to the same scroll position where I was before.
Does anyone know how to do this? I've got a few thoughts, but I'm hoping for an elegant approach that is easy to duplicate on other pages.

You can't suppress that alert.
You get an alert about resending POST data if you go back to a page that was previously requested from the server by submitting form data via a POST form. The only way that Firefox can make sure to get the same page is by resending that POST form. TFS 2012 - WebAccess - how to define which Query will run by default when navigating to WORK- WorkItems page

When we nagivate in IE in TFS Web Access, to the WORK -> Work Items page, TFS runs the AssignedToMe query and focuses on it as sort of default query that runs in such event. We have some teams under the team project, but AssignedToMe is not sensitive
to Team, only to Team Project, hence when navigating to the page of the specific team, this query shows the same per all teams :(.
In order to bypass this, we'd like to set a specific team query to be the default one to run when navigating to the team's page, instead of AssignedToMe, and thus have the result specific to each team scope.
Alternatively if it is possible to somehow filter AssignedToMe query according to Team Scope it would be great. Alas there's no @Team field yet, and we don't wish to create multiple AssignedToMe queries and name each specific to each team, nor do we wish
to put team queries in MyFavorites while naming them specifically per team..

As far as I know there’s no default way to the default query(AssignedToMe) in Work Items page, we usually add uses in different teams. If the user want to view the work items in one specific team, he can create a my query to filter work items according team
field value.

Values of fields cleared when navigating to a new page

Hi
In a transaction, I am giving values to the mandatory fields and other fields. From that page, i am navigating to other page for creating a relation or a new contact for that transaction. When i come back to the main page, values in 2 assignment blcoks and 1 field in 'Details' section of the assignment block are displayed as blank. When i save this transaction, those fields are saved with the values which were previously entered. If i follwo this process for an already saved transaction, this problem does not come. I am not able to identify why is this happening. Please provide your inputs.

Hmmm I have read also about the Internet Explorer and Fingerprint Authentication Software issue.

An update of the Fingerprint Authentication Software helped to solve the IE freezing.
But as you said, this software was not installed on your Satellite.
In your case I would recommend reinstalling the Internet Explorer on you computer. Maybe it helps.
PS; Did you try to use the Firefox internet browser???

I'm using APEX 4.1.1 and here is my dilemma: I have 2 pages A and B that both navigate to page C. In page C, when "Apply Changes" button is clicked I need to navigate back to either A or B depending on which page made the call to C. For pages A and B, I have set the "Request" value in the "Link Column" section to uniquely identify which page is making the call. Then, in page C I have created 2 branches (one to A and one to B) with condition "Request = Expression 1" where expression 1 is the value I assigned in A and B. When page C loads, I can see the value I assigned in the URL, but when I click "Apply Changes" the page submits and remains on page C.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Create an unconditional branch/edit one existing on page c and set the target page to *&PX_FROM_PAGE.*

InDesign crashes when scrolling/editing a corrupted page with a broken link.

Just sharing a problem I had and how I solved it (with help from adobe tech support-thanks!).
Indesign CC running on a Mac OSX 10.9.2
PROBLEM:
InDesign crashed when ever I reached a certain page in a large document I was working on. On that page was a link to an illustrator file. Somehow this file must have been corrupted, but there was no chance to edit or delete this link/page as the program crashed instantly when ever I tried to manipulated that specific page.
SOLUTION:
I opened a new, empty document; opened the broken file and moved all pages to the new document: LAYOUT/PAGES/MOVE PAGES; select Move Pages "ALL"; Move to: "Select the new document"; click OK. I went back to the new file with the moved pages saved it and deleted the corrupted link on that page which I could now edit again. Problem solved!
Hope this is helpful for anyone who experience the same problem.

Font issue when creating PDF from web page with Acrobat 8

I have a group of documents created with html/css that i am converting to pdf. Everything works slick except for some reason every HTML page that spans more than one printable page in the PDF the first page body text looks bold, the rest of the text (on the subsequent pages) is not. I have 15 documents linked together and its doing it for everyone one, first page looks bold rest of pages not.
I have checked all the font attributes in both the pdf and the html, there is nothing set to bold and all fonts have the exact same settings...
Does anyone know what is going on? I am pretty green with Acrobat but not new to web tech.
What am I missing here?
Also when printed it looks fine, no issues, issues only in screen view...

It may be that the page sizes are varying and you are seeing a zoom affect. Try setting the size to a specific value and see if it looks the same. That's a guess anyway.

Error when adding Spry Tooltip to page with footer library

I'm using Dreamweaver CS4 and the Spry menu to apply widgets.
I was able to create a brand new page, import an image, and apply the Spry Tooltip widget successfully (as well as edit the CSS etc.).
But I run into problems when I applied it to an image on my real page, which is pretty busy, and in columns etc. I select the same image and apply the Spry Tooltip. I get this error message:
"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded."
Searching online, it seemed to have something to do with a region that is not editable, like a template or library item. I'm not using Templates, but I did have a few library items. The Library for my footer, which included the script for Google Analytics, was what was causing the problems.
It seems what Tooltip was trying to do was insert its script INSIDE the existing script in the Footer library - which is not editable. I needed to remove the Footer Library, apply the tooltip, then re-insert the Footer Library. This is how it needed to flow:

I think if the footer library didn't have a script in it, it would not have been an issue. It's just that the </script> was right before the </body> and it figured it could just insert the Spry code there.
I wasted an hour troubleshooting this - I wish Dreamweaver was smarter when it inserted widgets and would know where Library items started and stopped.

Since upgrading to ios7.02 both safari and chrome browsers crash when I go to a page with the html5 music player on it. It did not in the older system. It is too bad I cannot return to the older system.

The "MySearchDial" app needs to be removed in 4 places.
1) Go to "add / remove programs" in your windows control panel select mysearchdial and remove it.
2) Open your Firefox browser then click the Firefox tab at the top left and select options. You will need to change the start page settings back to your preferred start page.
3) Again under the Firefox tab select "add-ons". In the add-ons manager you will need to remove mysearchdial from both "plugins" and "extensions"
4) In your search bar (top right of address bar" use the drop down menu and select "manage search engines". You can restore your preferred search engine and remove mysearchdial from the menu.
This should remove all the components of the nuisance hijacker and restore your browser back to your preferred settings. If you are comfortable with a more in depth removal I would also suggest going to your "programs" folder within the "C" drive of your machine and deleting the "MySearchDial" folder altogether. However, only do this AFTER you have uninstalled it from your system and if you are familiar with this type of removal.
