First of all, there is no AppleWorks "staff" - we are all just users like you.
AppleWorks 6 has not been updated since January, 2004, for the Mac & PC. The odds of another update are "slim & none" since iWork ’05 was announced as "building the successor to AppleWorks." I've not used XP, but have used AppleWorks 6 on Windows 95, 98 & 2000 with it being less stable on each successive version. I currently use AppleWorks 5 on my work PC with Win2K. I had read that AW 5 wasn't stable on Win2K, but it is certainly better than AW 6. When they "upgrade" us to XP Pro next month, I'm going to try to get the "helpless" desk to install my AW 6 again & see how it does. Meanwhile, I find it easier to take my MacBook Pro to work & use it along side the PC.

Where is the new update for N95-3 and N95-4? i have this two phones and i fell disappoint and mad becuz i bought this expensive cellphone and we have no support from Nokia.. this is no fair we are consumers like any other in the world. Actually, it's the American market that set Nokia aside.
Nokia initially refused to allow network operators to customize their phones' firmware. Consequently, American network operators all but stopped buying Nokia phones. Nokia has since relented and does carry out a certain amount of trade in America now, but they're nowhere near as popular over there as they are elsewhere in the world.
Add their lower popularity in America to the fact that you all use different frequency bands from the rest of the world, which means a different set of hardware, and you begin to understand why the American market is a bit of a bugbear and why Americanised products are low priority. If American networks followed the same standards as elsewhere in the world you'd all benefit from the same updates.
Note that this is just personal speculation and not necessarily Nokia's official standpoint. I am not a Nokia employee.

I was reading that there are many issues with the touchscreen. Sony won't tell us whether this is a hardware issue or not, but as I heard they are trying to fix this with some updates. When do we get some new updates? On the Z2 Tablet page I still only see version 17.1.A.1.2 (2014-03-21)

New update for N95 8gb not showing

a software update for the n95 8gb has been announced recently, but when i go to update, it doesn't show the latest version in the updater.
I assume nokia haven't got it up yet, despite stating on the site that it is available. This has some fairly essential updates such as flash.
Am i being impatient?

You don't mention whether your N95 8GB is a SIM free version or network branded in which case network may have not yet authorized the release of this software update.

It appears to be a bug with the current build. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

The passcode you need to enter is the passcode you set on your device. It is the passcode that you enter when you turn on your iPad or awaken it from sleep after and Auto lock.
If you do not know or remember your password and did not store it somewhere then you will have to restore your device.

IN N95 8GB sometimes when I try to open music player,it hang and close by itself although I use only 2 gigabytes of mass storage memory and I have to restsrt phone to make this music player work quickly and normally again but this problem repeat again and again in sometimes and I do not know what I can do to solve this bad problem and I found that when music player hang, every thing in mobile like web or search or camera applications....etc still work without hanging except gallery and video center and real player applcations!!! can any one tell me If he face such as this stubid problem..

I would plug it in to the compuer and update my phone. That's what I do and it works for me. Just make sue your phone is backed up and all your pictures and videos are on the computer. Sometimes when you update it erases thing if it isn't backed up. Hope this helped.

That's telling you your phone is in "Recovery Mode", & needs to be restored. You'll need a computer to do so:

Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone, and after the download was done and trying to install, it errored out. And now my phone is stuck on the screen with the itunes icon and the USB.

Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone4 on my laptop through Itunes. After the download was done, it was starting to install, and then an error came up and didnt get a chance to check it. Now my Iphone is stuck on the screen with the USB pointing to the Itunes Icon and wont do anything else. Any advice on how to get this fixed, or do i need to go to the Apple store and have them look at it.

You need to be running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or newer to sync the iPhone 5; this may require buying a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store. OS upgrades aren't covered by the warranty.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:
