When opening a word doc in pages i am loosing the graphic images from powerpoint that were embedded in the word doc

Are the images placed in a table? Many Word user have the habit of doing that. Tables are not handles the same way in Word and Pages so they get "hidden" in Pages. One way to find this out is to change the size of the paper of the document. You do that in the Page setup in the file menu. Create a document that is much longer that the default one and see if you images will pp up.

Same problem here (no graphics in header or footer) and the problem has been reported months ago. It is another bug/feature lost when Apple moves from 09 to the iCloud-compatible versions. Complain to Apple, you may have better chance than me and they may finally listen to their users....

Why are objects in tables removed when opening a document (created in pages 2009) in the new pages?

I have a problem: Documents I created in Pages 2009, when opened in the new Pages I get "objects in tables were removed".
This makes all my documents useless !

No, there isn't. Use Pages 09 with your old documents and Pages 5.0 for creating new ones. Do you really need Pages 5.0 is the question you need to answer. If not, don't.

I believe this is a Windows related issue, since it's the windows Save File manager we're talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help on that one, I believe. You'd expect to be able to delete the entries by simply tapping ''Delete'' on your keyboard when they are focused (that's how it goes for deleting specific form autocomplete entries in Firefox), but I haven't tried that.

I have the same problem, and the solutions in Error changing modules | Lightroom do not work. Even uninstalling and reinstalling a new copy did not solve the problem. As anyone got an idea what other lingering files might be causing the problem?

With Netscape all of the Webcam shots from live feeds were automatically saved in my cache folder and I could simply open my cache send the saved files into AcDsee and convert them into jpgs, It would save as many as I would allow space for. With firefox

I cant retrieve my images from webcams that are cached any more with mozilla. With netscape all of the live webcam images from live cams were automatically saved in my cache folder and all i had to do was open it send the files to acdsee and turn them into jpgs. It would save them untill the Cache ran out of room no matter how many files or sites I had running. Mozilla seems to save what it wants when it wants and often dose not save any that I can retrieve because I believe it is bulking them into Cache 123 or 4 and those i cant open to retrieve the files. Sometimes it saves 100 or so and sometimes 2 or 3 sometimes 10 or more but i don't seem to have any control over what it does or does not save to retrieve no matter how much space i allow for the cache to save.

You may have to try a general OS X troubleshooting process to see if the issue goes away by doing this...
Have you tried: starting the computer in SafeBoot mode, with shift key held down; a login screen should appear after a time, and then the regular desktop. There is an iTunes area in Apple Support Community discussions for more topics like this; except for when they involve a hardware product where an OS X is involved. If your computer is NOT a powerPC (an 'intel'-mac) the topic would more naturally need to be posted where that hardware and later supported OS X version topics get seen. So that is why one asks 'on what Mac running what version...' instead of writing four paragraphs in a wide angle reply. I'm having a similar problem ... just used my iPad 2 to purchase the Bourne trilogy and it downloaded fine but I did not try to play it right away. Then I plugged the iPad into the computer and it downloaded the SD versions of the movie and I used iTunes to sync my movies. Then I tried to play it and it said it could not open the movie. I then did a full iPad restore and did a fresh sync and now I get the Cannot Opne pop up. Did you ever find an answer to your question?

You will find that this is application dependent. Most Apple applications such as Safari and Mail will use the "sheet" type of dialog boxes that you are referring. There is no way for the user to change that behavior. Other, non-Apple, applications like Firefox use a "modal" dialog box for printing etc. The modal boxes can be moved around so you can see the page behind.

If you are talking about landscape pictures, hold the phone so the camera is at the top and the volume buttons on the bottom. If you hold it with the volume buttons on the top, the camera is upside down.

You need the 8.2 version of the ACR module, and PS10 is too old to be updated.
So, you can choose between 3 solutions:
- update PSE to PSE12
- use the Canon software to convert the raw files to the tiff format which PSE10 can handle
- download and install the free Adobe DNGconverter which is able to convert a whole folder of CR2 raw files to the Adobe DNG raw format which PSE10 can handle.
The last two solutions are free.

Csound1 What Ive been trying to explain is that I have been running bootcamp, I open the app where the first screen is the introduction, i hit continue, the first time I select "download the latest windows support software fromm Apple" then I return and instead select "Install Windows 7." Then hit continue. The third screen is where I "Create a Partition for Windows" I set Windows to 80 gigs then hit INSTALL. As stated before Bootcamp cannot find the install drivers saying "The installer disc could not be found." My windows software is on a USB drive not a disc, I tried using a virtual disc reader to make it appear that the windows software was running on a disc, still no luck. What I would like to know is how to install windows on bootcamp.
