When people activate connection keys, they don't show up in the Admin users list. Why?

I send people their key by e-mail. In most cases, when they click on it and it loads Contribute and they plug in the password, it will show up in the Admin listing of users. Other times, the same process is followed but they don't show up on any user list. What can I do to get them listed?

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

What version of iPhoto are you using? Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Why is it that some missed calls don't show up in the Missed Calls list?

Missed calls can only appear in your missed call list if your phone knows about them. In other words, if the phone rang, but you did not answer.
If a call was missed because your phone was turned off or not in a strong enough service area to receive the call, then it will not show up on your phone.

My playlists are showing up on the computer when it's connected, but they don't appear on the device. Please help.

I Connected my iPod to the computer to update some songs on my playlists, but once I had disconnected it from the computer my playlist were not on the device. So I connected it back up to the computer and they are still showing up. But all of my music is still on my iPod, please help me I really don't want to restore it back to factory settings.

When adding folders to iTunes 11, they don't show up in the library. On one folder add, it created a playlist (not what I wanted). On the second folder, it shows nothing. Never seen this before. Advice?

I added my first folder of MP3s and it created a playlist, but didn't show up in the library. When adding a second folder, it didn't show up anywhere. I can do a search for them in the search window, and it finds/plays them, but I want to be able to browse them in my library. I have a Dell that's running Windows XP. I have found that itunes is very temperamental. this works most of the time... except on my son's computer that's running Windows Vista.
Go to your library in iTunes. Then go up to file and try one of the options (import, add folder to library, or add file to library).
Adding a folder is the least work. You can add all the files from a folder with one click... if it works. Remember that itunes is temperamental.
If that doesn't work, try adding a file. The problem with that is that you have to go through the whole process for each and every file (song, movie, etc).
Sometimes the only thing that works is to import.
I haven't gotten iTunes to work on my son's computer (Windows Vista).
I can't get support from apple in any way at all! They are good about creating electronics that appeal to us But they are lousy at support. If anyone figures out how to access support (where you can actually contact Apple) please let me know ([email protected]). I've been trying for 6 months.

Bt Infinity, they don't show that on the Advert!

Just had BT Infinity installed, I was away at the time, so imagine my disappointment when I saw that sleek black Hub 3 sitting on a scabby white "80s throwback" OpenReach fibre box, you don't see that on the advert, so why can I see it on my hall table? Surely BT, if you're going to design something that looks really nice, any other equipment that has to accompany it, should look equally nice!

What with that and the 2 lights on the inspire base station, the 3 blue lights on the HH, the green light on the British gas smartmeter monitor etc the table next to the TV glows in the dark!
Then dont even start me about the amount of wires behind the TV apart from all the BB/telephone wires there is ariel cables,Sky cables, tv and recorder, sky+ box.
Please someone invent a way to do away with all these wires and thats with wireless connection to my laptop! and do all electronics have to stay lit up when not in use

Ringtones are currently a one-time only download. Have you not got a copy of them on your computer and/or on a backup ? When searching for mov files, they don't show up in Finder

Okay, so I think I found a good bug. (bad bug). I copied a bunch of .mov files from two CF cards to an external ExFat formatted hard drive. Once I copy, I can see the data on the hard drive. I have two folders: "Card1" and Card2". Again, I can clearly see all of the .mov files if I just manually open the folders. But when I search for the .mov files on the entire hard drive, (for the purposes of counting the number of .mov files I have), only files from one of the folders are found. Even though they are clearly there, and they play, etc. This is quite strange. Any ideas? I'm on Mavericks.

Thanks Barney, I tried that but all that comes up in Spotlight are the log files that show the file paths! I don't know how Steam works. Are all the files held by Steam on their server perhaps?

When an album has multiple artist how can you make them show up on an iPod Touch 4G? I can find an artist using the search function but they don't show up in the artist view on my iPod. iTunes shows them OK when you sort by artist.

Tech support seemed to understand the question but had no answer. Why would an album with only one artist show the artist but an album with multiple artist not show any of them. The album art show various in iTunes. That makes sense but on my iPod I would expect to see all artists.

Wish I did. I tried the group function but that didn't help in iTunes. The search function is the best I came up with. I can answer the question do you have susch and such artist. But I can't browse for an artist I don't remember exactly or have misspelled. Fortunately I don't think I've bought anything from iTunes that i already had. If you can't see an artist it's possible you think you don't have something you actually do have. Sorry, still hoping for a better work around or better yet a fix.

Last week I downloaded firefox 4. I began to have my programs (firefox, outlook, adobe) freeze up and crash although they don't show up on the crash report.

I have uninstalled and re-installed. I ran a reg check with spybot. I disabled add-ons. I tried a restore but it dose not complete.
A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

ICloud syncs my Reminders to Tasks in Outlook, but they do not show up on the To-Do List

When I make new tasks in the Reminders App on my new iPhone 4S, I notice that iCloud syncs it to Outlook in a new "iCloud Tasks" file separate from the original Outlook Data File. The tasks in the "iCloud Tasks" do not appear on the To-Do bar on the bottom right. Anyone know how to configure this to display correctly?

Although I don't blame anyone else but myself since I installed iCloud on Windows, my dependence on the To-Do Bar list in Windows Outlook for a quick view of upcoming appointments over several weeks became apparent yesterday when I missed a job interview that I thought was today.
Since iCloud sends reminders a few minutes before events and it is difficult to depend on the small calendar boxes in month view for upcoming appointments, I find I have fallen back to depending on memory alone since installing iCloud. I thought I had a good memory until this disaster.
For those of us required to use Windows Outlook, and grown dependent on the convenient To-Do Bar list on the right hand side for our upcoming appointments, this loss of the list after installing iCloud can result in disastrous consequences
Although I have appreciated the instantaneous sync across all my devices using iCloud, the inability to easily see the appointments well ahead of time makes it useless to me. I'm afraid I will have to reinstall Office to hopefully get rid of iCloud in Outlook. Hopefully the Outlook.pst file will be clean when Outlook without iCloud opens it.
I continued using iCloud with the hope this problem would soon be corrected, but now it's too late.

If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.
