Hello Gene,
I am just a single account holder. However I looked under Help as you suggested and it said I was signed in with a strange e-mail address.
I signed out and then signed in agani with my own e-mail address and it now has my correct name.
Very weird, but thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

That's new to me. I usually use the standalone dng converter to convert any raws to dng. Then I can open in Photoshop. Since I have never had this problem, the best I can do is to get you close to a fix if I don't have an exact answer. There is also a Camera Raw forum that can better advise you.

Since I'm most experienced in Photoshop, I can only hand out stock troubleshooting that would just miss the problem. Photoshop CS5 does host ACR. Is this happening when you open the dng in ACR from Lightroom, and not after you open the dng from ACR into Photoshop?
Finally when a dialog box isn't working correctly. It's the Alt key on your keyboard that would change the Cancel button into Reset in ACR. It might not work if you are using a Bluetooth keyboard. (My screen capture keys won't let me show the Reset button)
So try that and if it fails, check out the other forums. If no one else joins this thread, I should tell you I"m out of ideas, can't seem to locate an answer, and I don't want to hold you up.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

I'm editing a 24 page booklet which when I open in Pages 5.0.1 is single pages. How can I change the format to facing pages to give to the printer?

I'm editing a 24 page booklet which was done about a year ago in another version of Pages. When I open it now in Pages 5.0.1 it comes up as single pages. My question is how do I get it back to a facing pages format to give to the printer?

Export to Pages 09 and use that. Version 5.1 lacks the ability to use alternating left/right margins and many,many other features that are present in Pages 09. Pages 5.1 adds back a vertical ruler ( why ever was it omitted?) but still lacks about 90--that's nine zero, as in "nearly 100"-- features that were in Pages 09. Yesterday I download Firefox 4. When I tried to open it I got message that Firefox was "working offline" How can I change this back to on-line when I can't get any farther? All other programs work fine, I just cannot access the internet.

Welcome to Discussions.
With iCal closed, try deleting it's preference file (User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist).
If this does not work try repairing permissions. Open Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility) and select your boot volume on the left and click Repair Permissions.
If neither of these work post back.

It should be an attachment. Your Mac just displays a preview of certain attachments (such as .pdfs) in the body of the message. A PC, for example, will see it as an attached file rather than a preview.
You can save the attachment on your Mac by Control-clicking on it and selecting Save Attachment.

.dmg.part is not a complete file.. It usually indicates that the entire file has not been downloaded yet. Are you sure you downloaded the entire file? (i recommend updating itunes through  > Software Update
