When preview the timeline, audio will be noise.
Hello.
I have an experiment to be placed in the timeline, the audio of different sampling frequency.
However, when previewing the timeline, you will hear a noise.
48kHz based sequence + 48kHz footage = OK!
44.1kHz based sequence + 48kHz footage = NOISE!
I've created a sample project.
Will you try someone?

Streaming audio begins at beginning when previewed in timeline
I have audio inserted along the main timeline of my Flash movie. It is set to stream. When I try to preview the timeline to match the narration with events along the timeline, no matter where I am on the timeline, the audio starts at the beginning. Makes timing incredibly difficult.
Is there a fix for this, or is it a bug in the Flash Pro CC that will cause me to continue to work in Flash 5.5?
Thanks.Ah I understand. Well here's what I managed to HUNT down
This issue was posted on this very forum on April 15th which can be found HERE.
If you look at reply #3 you can see that member has the same computer I had (HP desktop with beats audio).
I remember trying what he suggested and it actually worked...for a small while.
When the issue came back, I continually tried to enable/disable the Beats audio in hopes of fixing the issue.
Sometimes it would work immediately. Other times it wouldn't work at all.
The member in post #3 is probably right in that this may be related to the audio driver on some computers.
Now, I just got a Dell XPS8700 and I haven't gotten the issue yet.
Of course I've only been using it for a day or so but so far so good.
The HP desktop I was using is going to my friend.
He will be using it to work on our show so essentially he'll have to deal with the headache lol.
What bothers me the most is that I get these Flash CC updates pretty often and each time I think it's fixed, it's not.
To add insult to injury when you get a Flash CC update through Adobe CC you'll see a link below the update that you would THINK would show you the changes that were made but it doesn't...it just goes to the default Flash CC webpage...sigh.
I personally think it's down right hilarious that so many paying customers could have an issue like this and Adobe just sits back and counts their money.
Guess our cries for help are being drowned out by the money counting machines... -
Has anyone experienced problems with Mackeeper? I did not complete downloading this software. Yet, occasionally when on the internet, I will have the MacKeeper multi-colored circle replace my pointer. How do you deal with this?
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Don't download MacKeeper. Users complain about this app and it damages OS X. Also, Mac OS X knows how to take care of itself, so you don't need any other cleaning application that may damage OS X. See > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3691 -
Why is the Lumia Icon's (929) ringtone lower than when previewing the ringtone in settings/system/ringtone+sounds? (The volume is set at 30 in all cases.)
Hello Lena,
Yes, tried all those things.
After going back and forth with Verizon's "tier 2" technical support over the last 2 days, a chat session with Nokia, no call-backs-as-promised by your technicians, then having them reinstall the phone's software -that didn't fix the problem. So they are sending me a re-manufactured replacement phone. But not a NEW ONE, because I didn't realize the problem within 14 days. You see at first, I just figured the phone had lousy volume, until I was previewing ringtones when setting the alarm clock. The phone is about one and a half months old. I have expressed my desire that a NEW phone be sent, but NO says Verizon.
I've spent enough time, in good faith, Verizon would solve this matter, but in the process of their re-installing the software they've screwed up Backup Assistant.
Thanks. -

NMP random crashes when modifying the timeline.
FCPx is crashing/exiting when modifying the timeline. Happens randomly few times an hour - sometimes more. I updated all apps except going to YOSEMITE and it still crashes.
I`ll paste a log report below for what its worth.
Is there any apple staff that look at logs or is it just community aid?
Thanks anyone who can advise!

Why don't you convert all the old 16 bit code into 32 bit code and
create one application where the various parts all know about each
other? I don't think that there's any way to coordinate an old 16 bit
LV and a new 32 bit LV application so that they don't step on each
other driverwise like they appear to be doing. I don't think that the
two LabVIEW's even know that the other exists!
Alternatively, get a second computer to run the 16 bit code on and
make the two apps communicate with
each other using TCP/IP or serial.

When printing the report , it will show an error
Post Author: tramp168
CA Forum: General
I use crystal report2005 in C#2005 to design several reports, all the reports can be shown normally when previewing on the all user computer, and the reports can be printed on most of user's PCs, but two users can't print the reports, when printing,it will show below error:
Error in file c:\docum~1\..............*.rpt
the request could not be submitted for backgroud processing.
how to handle the issue.
thanks all in advance!Post Author: V361

do the two users who can not print, have the same printer types installed as those that the report does print on ? (May need to add a NEW printer definition to the failing computers, and see if the report works) -
Portal Runtime Error When Previewing the BI Report iViews
Hi Experts,
I hope this is the right place for my issue. I have an issue previewing the BI reports that I have created as the iViews and have put them in the portal. I am able to preview them in the BW/BI server successfully. Then I have created them in another server and got the portal runtime error. There are 2 different servers that I am working on, and there is no single sign on support on these servers.
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing your request
Exception id: 10:21_29/06/09_0049_44107950
See the details for the exception ID in the log file.
I check the permission, and everything has been set up as the BW/BI server (Built-in Group Everyone). I still got the portal runtime error. There is another folder of BI report iViews that someone else has created before. When I preview it, it prompts me with the NetWeaver Log in page. Then it opens the BI report iView properly. Unfortunately, it will not prompt the log in page on my own BI report iViews that I have created. Instead, it shows the portal runtime error page. Any ideas how can I solve this?
Thanks,
-Don

Crash when scrolling the timeline
this happens every single time:
if I zoom on the timeline, then I scroll to the right (to reveal next edits), Premiere crashes. if I zoom to the left it doesn't crash.
sometimes it says "sorry Premiere has to shut down we'll try to save the project", while other times it simply crashes and the default Apple crash report appears.
this happens on CC 2014.1 and latest 2014.2 and it's very frustrating because I have to use workarounds in order to move through the timeline.
I'm on OS X 10.9.5, on a new Mac Pro with 2x D700 GPUs, 3.5GHz 6 core CPU and 32GB ram.
any idea on what's causing this problem and how to solve it?
thanks! Here's another thread on a similar if not identical issue: Premiere Pro CC Crashing when Scrolling Through Sequence in Timeline - Audio Waveform Goes Blank First.
In order to keep the discussion centralized, please post the following there:

Is your problem with iMovie as the title suggests or with iDVD?

Anyone had video just not play when on the timeline?
Video is just not playing when pulled down to the timeline. Seems to resolve itself for a bit after I reboot the program.
Using optimized media should be fine to work with given those specs.
Does the problem happen often? When you say it doesn't play, I'm not exactly sure what you mean.
One thing to check for is that the timeline scrollbar hasn't moved (vertically) so that the issue isn't just that you can't see it due to a scrolling issue. This has happened to me a few times -- especially when zooming in/out. I think it's a bug. But all you have to do is scroll up to get your clips back into view. -

"Access denied" when opening the timeline
I have FCP 6.0.6. I dragged a picture into the timeline, and the browser shut down. When I tried to reopen the timeline, it said "access denied." How can I reopen the timeline? I really don't want to have to start over.
What app are you running - Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Server?

I have created a DVD via iMovie and burned several copies. It is a large file. When played the some DVD's will stop and display a message SKIPPING DAMAGED Part but will not resume. Some work fine. It is not the DVD. I have burned from several batches. When trying to export the project, I get an error message with the following message: The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occured (-108).
