When printing from my Mac all of a sudden when printing from IPhoto the picture is really dark. The test page off my HP color laser jet is just fine. It is not the printer although older. All of sudden it does not want to print correctly.
All of a sudden when printing from my desktop Mac in IPhoto the printout comes out black. My colors are fine on my HP color laser printer. I have printed many times and now all of a sudden it is not printing. A test copy from my printer comes out fine. I really think for some reason something has changed just in the last few days. Just communication with IPhoto and the computer.
As long as your cartriges are full, put a photo on you desktop, highlight it , click COMMAND P and the print preferences window should drop down, and select your printer and photo paper.

All my mail have disappeared from my mac and my iOS devices. Seemingly from the iCloud server as well. How can I recover them?
Well, you can't since the emails are stored on icloud's mail server. Try this test, using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com and check the mail page. If they are gone, then they are really gone.
Now, I thought I could go into a Time Machine backup and view old emails from a day ago. Unfortunately, Time Machine doesn't seem to save icloud based email, since regardless of the past date I go to, only the current emails show up, not older ones. My conclusion is that I wouldn 't be able to recover them from a TM backup.
What had you been doing on the mac or device that causes emails to be deleted? (I hope you don't have a family member or friend using the same icloud account - they may have deleted all emails by mistake.) -
When manually syncing music from my Mac to my ipod, if I delete from my list and hit apply, the songs are remaining on my ipod? It just started doing this.
You need to select the songs on the iPod (in iTunes) and hit Delete.
Since you are Manually managing, Apply doesn't do anything to Music on the iPod. -
I can update data from my Mac to my iPhone and iPad, and from my iPhone to my Mac and iPad, but cannot get data to update from my iPad to either my Mac or my iPhone.
If new calendar events entered on your iPad do not appear on icloud.com, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar on your iPad and be sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default and not something else like On My iPhone, a Gmail or Yahoo calendar, etc. If you haven't, make this change, then add a new event and see if it appears on your calendar on icloud.com now.
If your settings are correct and new events still aren't appearing on icloud.com, add any missing calendar events from your iPad to your calendar on icloud.com. Once the calendar on icloud.com is up to date with your iPad, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Calendars to Off, choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then after a 15 seconds or so, turn Calendars back to On. Then add a new event on your iPad and see if it appears on your calendar on icloud.com now, and on your other devices. -
After updating iTunes this week Windows 8 recognizes the iPod but does not offer an option to open with iTunes. iTunes does not recognize iPod Touch. Have followed all the steps but without success. Is there a solution with iTunes?
I followed all the instructions on the suggested page. Many files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\ could not be deleted. Message said ""Cannot delete files: It is being used by another person or program"' but could not find iPodService.exe in task manager (also, the "Cannont delete ... " did not mention iPodService.exe).
Deleted all that I could. Reinstalled iTunes. Still same result. iTunes and computer both recognize my old iPod. Only the computer recognizes iPod Touch. -
Mac Lion OS print driver for hp color laser jet 1600 & business inkjet 2200
I just brought a Macbook Air (13in) with the new OS Lion. I however have a HP Color Laserjet 1600 and Business Inkjet 2200 that I love, but can't find a printer driver for either. So, my questions are, does anyone know if:
1) there is going to be a mac lion os print driver for hp color laser jet 1600 & Business Inkjet 2200; or
2) is there another way to print to them (i.e., the 2200 uses HPA instead of PS and the 1600 uses PCL)?Any suggestions re correct driver for windows 7 and HP 4600dn?

I have a tolino vision 2 and cant copy the e-books from my pc to the tolino. I have the same adobe ID for the tolino and for the PC. I get the message I'm not authoriesed to copy, and/ or my adobe ID does not fit/match to the one at my PC. What can do? Can someone answer in German?

I can pair my iPhone 4 with my MacBook and my Macbook Pro but they will not connect. My iPhone keeps telling me it does not support this even with bluetooth turned on.The devices section keeps searching all the time. Is this an antenna problem? Or something else ?
Your iphone is right, it is not supported. The iphone's bluetooth protocols do not include file transfer, but are intendes only for headsets, stereo headphones, cars, and keyboards.

I am trying to sync my iPhoto to my iPad from my Mac but iTunes keeps telling me that my iPhoto Library can't be found. I obviously can see that I have many photos and events so I am not sure why I'm getting this message.I have all the current software and have been playing around with it for hours and can't figure out the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to connect a LAN printer, HP Color Laser Jet 3800dn, through a Time Capsule but no one on the network can see it. The printer works fine if I connect it directly to my iMac. Any suggestions?

There is a good chance the printer is just getting auto IP internally..
Plug it into your TC. And then set to dhcp via the controls on the printer.
If you know the name of the printer it should be immediately available to the network.. but anyway, you can find its IP by printing out the test page. That will also give you the network name.
Most later HP printers have web access to the print servers.. just type the ip into your browser and see if it comes up.
From the Mac, you should then be able to set it up via the printer preferences. Most HP will just appear.. but if not you should perhaps delete the local version and then check again for network printers. -

I have the HP color laser jet CP1215 and it seems to have frozen. I have tried unplugging and replugging the printer as well as just turning it on and off. I was able to delete some of the documents in the queue but there is one that I cannot delete and it is freezing the printer.

Every time we print from the printer we get a faint line across the headed of the page about one inch from the top. The line appears even when we "print" a blank page. The line appease on both sides of the page when printing single or double sided. It seems to fade when we print a lot of pages. We have changed the toner and cleaned the Fuser Input.
Any help would be great!

Alternatives?
1) Run a Windows client on the Mac using Boot Camp or one of the available virtualization programs like Parallels, VMware Fusion, and others so you can run the latest Windows print/fax/scan driver.
2) If your Mac hardware supports an older OS X version, downgrade to one (Snow Leopard?) that still had support for print, fax and scan.
3) Buy a newer printer. A 2007 model is 5+ years old, and should now be fully depreciated in a business.

Selected ringtone reverts to default after sync
