Well the most common way is to enclude the vi's in the build spec either directly in the dependancies that the App builder automatically generates OR by declaring them in the build spec as "additional enclusions" (like you must do for dynamic vi calls in your app.
I have heard rummors about My.app Stuff.vi in a nugget Intaris posted- and I've wanted to dig deaper into Intaris' claims- but have not tried it myself.

I was only able to print one page and then both my printer and my computer would display an error message about the printer's inability to print. Since then I've been able to resolve my specific problem.
I
1. uninstalled HP from my computer (checked to ensure that my printer was no longer visible in my printers and the HP Utility software was nowhere to be found),
2. grabbed the software/driver update from Aug, 2010,
3. installed the Aug, 2010 update, and my problems seem to have been fixed.

Deploying printers with gpp cse to computers and setting the default printer results in this error

The computer printername preference item in the 'Printer deployment' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070709 The printer name is invalid.' This error was suppressed.
I've read that this is a timing issue does anyone have any thoughts on this

As in your other thread: There is no default printer for computers, so
your XML hack "might" produce the expected result or it - as in this
case - doesn't.

If it IS a timing issue, enable

You could call storage bin U-ZONE as "XYZ" or "John" or "Flower", it doesn't matter. It is only a storage bin in interim storage type and SAP uses it to place quants in it when you post goods movement in IM by mvt 311.
So, this bin got its name by SAP, and this name is set in SPRO > LE > WM > Activities > Transfers > Define Movement Types - here choose mvt 311 of your WH and you will see that this bin is set as destination storage bin. If you want to call it "flower", you have to change it here and create it in LS01N.

Exactly the same problems as many others with iTunes 10.5 and my Windows 7 32 bit laptop: An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT .type="win32", … HRESULT:0x800736FD. I followed the Apple instructions to completely uninstall earlier iTunes and all Apple applications and then tried to re-install iTunes 10.5. Numerous attempts. Still no success. Constantly goes through the install and then rolls back after failure.
By unzipping using WinRAR and installing each module separately it seems that the module that fails is the AppleApplicationSupport.msi
Finally I uninstalled everything again and reinstalled iTunes 10.4.1. This installed perfectly. So at least I still have iTunes.
I was able to install iTunes 10.5 on myWindows XP SP3 desktop.
I noticed with WinRAR that the AppleApplicationSupport.msi file with 10.5 is a completely different size to that with 10.4.1. This suggests to me a conflict between the latest AppleApplicationSupport.msi and Windows 7.

When I start facebook I recieve this error "[Textarea Backup] Existing text detected in 'xhpc_message', overwrite with this backup" I click ok to overwrite with a back up and then my facebook will no longer work.

I can 't get messages, or see others posts. I have the newest firefox and ubuntu.

It is the Page Tweak Add-on... It is what has the Textarea Backup. I removed it and my facebook works fine now.

I keep getting an error message saying my network connection has timed out when I try to download the iphone 5 software to my iphone 4 while it's connected to my laptop. Then it says make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active. The download gets all the way to the end (takes about an hour mind you), and keeps timing out. It's error 3259. FYI, I have the latest version of iTunes.

You can convert this decimal code to HEX Code. If you do so, the HEX code looks like BFF62024. This Code means the Board handle is invalid. This could happen if you use not a valid handle because of race conditions within variables or close functions within the code.

Error message recieved when attempting to download update: Error indesign 8 LS16.dmg error -4960

I'm attempting to download and update for Indesign CS6 and recieve this error: error indesign 8 LS16.dmg error -4960. I clicked ok and the download continued to the *extracting -- this may take awhile. Well, that's been going on for 10 minutes now -- and I'm concerned that the download is locked up. My questions are:
What should I do about the error message?
How long should the extraction process take? Is it hung up? How long should I wait before aborting the download process?
How do I abort the download process, if that's what I need to do.
Suggestions and prayers appreciated.

I would probably kill the process.
From what I can tell, the best thing is to download again. From where were you getting the download?

Help my printer has a scanning Error ?? (not a scanner)

On my PC (Windows 7 64 bit) I have had a Laserjet P1006 installed for ages. Running perfectly until about 3 weeks ago.
I stareted recieving Error message 52.0 Scanner Error.
I did a reinstall and worked fine again. for 2 days then the same error. I have tried installing in m ultiple ways somtimes it works for a day or two but mostly i get the error msg emediatly.

I read your post and see that you keep getting a "52.0 Scanner" error. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
If the issue persists, download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it if it is software related. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)
Are there any lights flashing on the printer when you are getting this error on the computer? Blinking Lights on the HP LaserJet P1005, P1006, P1007, P1008, and P1009 Printer Series.

Recieving an error message

I recieve this error message when I open iCal on my MacBook. I am new to using iCal so I have no idea why I'm getting this message and how to get rid of it. It says:
The server responded with an error
Access to account “[email protected]” is not permitted.
The server responded:
“HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden”
to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
I then has the option of clicking a "Go Offline" or "Ignore"
If I click "Go Offline" it simply reappears... if I click "Ignore" it goes away for a short time (a few minutes) and then reappears. It makes me think it is looking for some kind of connection that isn't there. I can update my iCal eents with no problem from my iPhone or my Mac. Everything works great, just this error keeps popping up.
Any guidance would be appreciated!

Welcome to Apple Discussions, Kristi.
It sounds like iCal is trying access a shared calendar on a server and is unable to.
Go to iCal >Preferences > Accounts.
__Have you added anything here?
__By default this column is blank.
__If there is anything here, try deleting it and then close and reopen iCal
If that does not resolve the issue:
First make a backup, File > Export > Archive.
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > MobileMe > Account >Sign Out
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
Launch iCal and test. If it works fine then Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > MobileMe > Account >Sign In.

Has anyone ever seen this error

We just launched a vaccation tracking app with a coldfusion
front end and an access 97 backend (dont ask). The app was tested
for over a month and passed all tests. However we never tested for
volume, or amount of users hitting the app. On the backend, we have
an access table linked to a text file. Again, this tested out
perfectly over the past month. This morning after release to the
entire company of about 2,000 people, users began reporting this
error:
The text file specification 'EmployeeList Link
Specification6' does not exist. You cannot import, export, or link
using the specification.
Some users logged in to the app successfully and some
recieved this error. For those that recieved the error, we had them
back out and re-login and then the app worked just fine.
Has anyone ever seen this or have a guess as to what is going
on?

The right way would be to use a "real" database server.
But you can test if db-caching can improve the issue.
With each <cfquery> you can set a cachedwithin
parameter. Using that should allow you to query the Access db once,
and then have CF keep the query results in memory (for the DB as
well as the text-file).
You could query the complete database with no filtering this
way, and then filter the data using QueryofQuery to output only
records for specific users/groups/regions.
You also need to make sure the settings in CF admin are
configured right for this.
The more often the database content is updated, the slower
this solution will get though.

ps. for the cachedwithin parameter in the query set a
timeframe of forever, so the recordset never gets updated, and then
actually execute a new query to update the recordset at the end of
your "save a vacation" or "updated a vacation" functions. This way
the app would only read the db when a real change to the records
occurred.
But like I said with 2000 users, even that may not be enough
to get the app performing.

NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL when printing from MacBook to shared Windows Printer

Hello Mac gurus,
I'm researching the issue I'm having when trying to print from MacBook Pro (connected to a home network via Ethernet cable) to an HPLaserJet 6MP/PS printer, which is connected to a Windows XP SP2 computer via LPT1 port. This printer is shared and successfully used by another Win PC connected via NegGear router.
I've followed the instructions to install the printer on my Mac here and here . I don't seem to have problems installing the printer. My Mac can see the printer, successfully installs it, tells me it is idle, but when I print it generates this error:
Connection fail with error NTSTATUSUNSUCCESSFUL and then after a few seconds: Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 sec. The printer never received any signals.
I've seen some replies here about workarounds, installing Ghost and other software. Since I have a PostScript printer, is it relevant in my case? I also read that Mac will print only to USB connected printers, is that true and that is where my problem is?
Please help.

Thanks for replying.
1. I shortened the share printer name in my Windows (following the instructions I mentioned above, before I posted my message), there are no special characters or spaces.
2. Mac and PCs are on the same network.
3. Printer Share is allowed on the Windows PC (not blocked). Since other PC can print to that printer, than I guess Print Share is functioning.
4. I found the directory Access on the Mac, but don't know what to do there :confused: I see that smb is used as a Network protocol. The rest I have no clue.
