When printing, my preview is correct, but the printed document shows only the center of the printed document
When printing from my MacBook Air, Pages shows the correct preview, but the printed document is only a column taken out of the center of the printed page. What's going on?
I should add that when I e-mail this document to myself and print it directky from the iMac, it prints fine.

When I print a Word for Mac document to a shared printer (that is connected to my iMac) from my Macbook Pro, print preview looks fine but the printed page has too much blank space at the top and doesn't print the bottom few lines. I have manipulated a photo using layers etc and then flattened it and saved it under a new name. When I use 'Preview' (mac) to view the finished photo it doesn't look right. It's as the layers have not flattened correctly. When viewed in Elements 12 it looks OK. The photo looks incorrect in other software such as photo books.
Looking at the same photo before flattening, what is being shown is only the top layer.

The top layer is indeed the one that is visible, unless there is/are area(s) of translucency on that layer, so that you can visualize a portion of the subjacent layer.

Are your settings targeted to have the printer manage colors, or, to have PSE manage colors? -

I have exactly, exactly!! thesame annoying problem you have or had. I don't know what to do and i am reallyfrustrated with the dumb limited inside the box solutions offered to me. It'slike if you have a problem with your ipod or iphone you can either restore it,uninstall/reinstall itunes and thats pretty much it. I am sorry but that isjust f***** up.

How do I correct the problem that every timeI boot up I receive the message that “iCal cannot log in to your iCloud accountbecause you password is incorrect…” I do enter it correctly but the same errormessage comes up the next time the computer boots up? Thanks.

The password saved for a site is correct but the site still doesnot accept it and I have to type it in each time. How do I fix this?

Some photo folders in my Windows Photo Gallery are listed in iTunes when I sync my iPhone 3GS but the folders are empty. The same photo folders in Windows Photo Gallery are full of photos. How do I fix this?
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

When using Firefox certain videos play but the image is green and distorted.. help?
Firefox 3.6.8 and 3.5 (I downgraded to see if that would solve the issue)

When using Firefox certain videos play but the image is green and distorted. The image turns into lines and sometimes it half of the screen of the video. Examples are streaming MLB.tv video and some vimeo videos. The odd thing is that it isn’t all Vimeo videos. Is this a flash issue?
The issue does not happen with Internet Explorer which leads me to believe this is an issue with Firefox. I downgraded to 3.5 and the issue still persists.

I believe you will find you can again sync Photos if you delete the "iPod Photo Cache", but predict that any subsequent attempt will fail. In my case, the enxt sync removes all the photos again - I've seen other reports of error messages upon sync. Mine just fails silently. :-) -
FaceTime freezes when I call my son's iPad. Calling his iPhone in the same room has no problems. The picture is high resolution. There are no freezes when calling my daughter's iPad but the picture is lower resolution. Can I troubleshoot this?
Thanks Mario, but I tried everything there before posting my question. I may not have been clear in my question since I accidently recorded the whole question as the title and tried to edit. In brief: I have no trouble connecting with my daughter's iPad or my son's iPhone. However, his iPad is sending much higher resolution pictures and we disconnect after about a minute. Oddly, he can hear and see me while my screen first freezes, then goes black and gives me a message of "reconnecting" until it quits trying and shows the buttons to end or redial. The picture quality difference is what is leading me to believe it is bandwidth related. However, I get anywhere from 5 to 10 MB download speeds; usually closer to 10. Last summer, I had 4 granddaughters on their iPads, a grandson on his gaming device and me on cell phone or pc, all using the bandwidth at once with no complaints. If there is a way to lower his outgoing resolution, I think that would help.

If you have American Express, your 4-digit security code is on the front. If you have VISA or MasterCard, your 3-digit security code is outside the signature block on the back of your credit card. It happens to me also.

Just got my iPhone 5. I get a message saying it can't be used as it requires iTunes 10.7 or later, when I connect to iTunes. But the current version is 10.63. Please help!
iPhone 5 requires iTunes 10.7 or greater to sync with your computer. You need to update iTunes on your computer. If running OS X, this requires OS X 10.6.8 or greater...Snow Leopard.

Delete non-empty directory: better solution than traversal?
