When reading sent email, the attachments I included in the email to recipient are not shown. How can I retain the attachments?
When send email with attachments and the open the sent mail to read what I sent, the attachemnts I sent are not shown on the mail in my sent folder. How can I keep the attachments on my mail?
It will not show anywhere; it is simply your account pic so you know you're using that particular account in Mail (if there is more than one).

My Laptop is running WinXP & has IE & Firefox browsers loaded. Both have stopped working due to unrelated problems. Since I cannot connect to the Web to download the Firefox browser at home, I want to download the entire browser to my USB thumbdrive here at work, and then install the browser at home from the thumbdrive. When I add photos to an email by dragging them in from iphoto the quality of the photos reduce.

Philip, dragging from iPhoto will export previews of the image, not the original high resolution image. To export higher quality versions from iPhoto don't drag, but use "File > Export"
You can also mail your photo directly from within iPhoto using "Share > Email" and set the "Size" to "Actual Size (Full Quality)"

I have just won an iphone 3gs in a raffle but when i put in my sim it tells me that it is not supported how can i get the iphone to work?
In that case the procedure assuming it is a PAYG phone is to get an o2 PAYG sim, put £20 on it and then make a few calls making sure you leave £15 on the sim to pay for the unlock. Then there is an online unlock request form on the o2 site just fill this in. It takes between 1-14 days and you get a message from o2 telling you how to complete the official unlock through iTunes.
I got my o2 unlock in nov 09 so this is not just opinion. -

My amp has an USB input but when I attach my mac pro to it, and set the input to the USB setting, no sound comes out. I looked at the system settings, but none of them produce a different outcome. How can I send the music through the USB out to USB in?
AFAIK cameras offer their own built-in format utility for inserted SD cards. You should use that. Otherwise, refer to the manual that came with your camera to determine precisely how your SD cards need to be formatted to work properly. Personally, I'd suggest Partition Scheme: MBR, and Filesystem: FAT32.
Try to limit the number of formats you perform on the SD cards, though, as you're reducing their lifespan. I believe formatting causes re-writes to a portion of the SD card that has fewer read/write cycles than the rest of the card as a whole. -

my iphone is broken,and i came to store to change a new one today. When I come home, I found I lost my backup and may be mistake is made during before backup.The information in my previous iphone is really important for me? how can I get the backup back?
If you don't have a backup then the only possible solution is to go back to the store and see if they can get your old phone and create a backup of that. I know very often that Apple employees will wipe the returned iPhones clean before shipping them back to wherever they ship them.
When you say your old phone was "broken" does this mean it is dead and won't turn on?
Do you have a Time Machine backup of your computer, or a clone that might have this info on it?
Other than that I hate to say you may be out of luck. Time Machine and/or a cloning program performed regularily will inevitably save your a** in situations like this.

When i try to update the software for my 3rd Gen iPod Touch to version 5 i get the message 'This version of iTunes (9.2.1) is the current version'. My Mac OS is 10.4.11. How can I update the iPod software?
The later iOSs requires at least OSX 10.5.8 for the Mac. You need iTunes 10.5 but 10.4.11 only goes to 9.x.. 10.5.8 is a paid upgrade.
Are you sure that you have a 3G iPod? If it is 8 or 16 GB it is a 2G and those can only go to 4.2.1 (also requires 10.5.8 or later). A 32 GB can be either 2G or 3G. To identify yours:

Despite ticking the box "remove all website data", when I reset Safari not all stored cookies are eliminated. How can I overcome the problem? Or is it a bug?
I have done a little experimenting: 1-close all open windows (I found that I had to do this step in order to keep Safari from hanging-will be explained later). 2: Remove all data in Prefs. 3: Immediately close the prefs window (no window should be open at this point) and quit Safari. Try to complete step 3 fast as possible; I have it down to a few seconds. The reason I urge you to close all windows is that Safari hangs until forced to quit upon immediately quitting after removing cookies. I think the auto page reload in Lion is the cause of these hiccups but I can't be sure about that. The hasty quit I found is crucial to success. To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app on your iPad such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer. -
How Can i retain the Shared Variable Values after PC rebooting
Hi all,
I am facing a paculiar problem with Shared Variables. I have an application in which shared variables are used for data communication.
One of the application requirement is to retain the variable values eventhough PC is rebooted or started after crashing.
As per the my understanding, the variable values will retain eventhough the PC is rebooted. But here i can observe a paculiar problem like some library variables are retaing the values while some others not. I enabled logging for all the variables.
I tried many ways. like logging enabled, logging disabled, changing variable names, changing process names etc... But i am not getting a consistent behaviour.
I hope some you can help me in solving this issue.. "How Can i retain the Shared Variable Values after PC rebooting"

What do you mean by not getting consistent behaviour.. this will all depend on excatly when the crash happens i.e. before the write or after.
Surely a better method would be to log the data to a file during the reboot...

will be the default value for the shared variable's data type.
The LabVIEW DSC 8.0 module adds more functionality to the shared variable, including initial values and alarms.
If you enable an initial value on a shared variable, when the variable
engine comes back on-line it will default to this value. Setting a bad
status alarm for the shared variable is also a good way of handling
this type of event. Additionally, if you are using a LabVIEW Real-Time
target such as Compact RIO or Compact FieldPoint, it is appropriate to
consider hosting the shared variable engine on the real-time target.
These devices have watch-dog capabilities and are typically the
hardware controlling the critical pieces of an application. Most
Windows or PC-based targets do not have these fail-safes.
I guess, if you could explain to me again that would be great. From my point of view, if I have a cRIO and a Windows PC. If the windows PC crashes, the cRIO will still update its shared variables. Then once the PC has started up its own shared variable engine, and the bindings are loaded, it will once again continue to update its copies of the variables.
