When receiving text messages on my iPhone 4, they all come at the same time
Whenever I have text message conversations it's like my phone is waiting for every reply to come in and then display them to me, like sometimes the time stamp could be from ten minutes ago even though i just received it.

That setting is not relevant to sending SMS messages to non-iPhones. It only affects what happens when an iMessage won't go through to an iOS device. And, what the phone number is labeled has no effect on anything. You could create a custom label "Rutabaga" and the SMS would still go through if the account was properly provisioned. Those labels are for human brain convenience only. -

If you are using the iMessage app on your iPad, you need to use the same email address you use on your iPhone. But, be advised, that when people email your cell number on your iPhone, you will not get the message on your iPad. iPad is not a cell phone. And also know that iMessage on iPad is intended to only let you text with other iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) devices.
If you want to be able to text to anyone from your contacts list (those for example who do not own an iOS device), there are free apps in the App Store, such as TextFree, which you can download. But, TextFree will assign you a number (I know kind of odd since iPad is not a cell phone), which you can then text anyone you want. You'll just need to let your friends know the texts are coming from you. -
I recently switched from my iphone to a samsung Galaxy S4, trading in my iphone. I now can not send/receive text messages from any iphones to my galaxy S4. Since I traded the iphone in, I can't access it to make any changes. Any ideas?

Upgraded from iphone to a Samsung and now i am unable to receive text messages from other iphone users unless they disable imessage .
Being my original number was on an iphone is why this is happening .
Please help. Almost everyone has an iphoneYou should have turned iMessage off before disabling the phone. Do you still have the phone so you can turn iMessage off? If not, you will need to go to Apple support on their website and delete the product from your profile.

Under Settings - Messages, do it state Sens SMS ON? Should be (this applies to imessage but just in case).
Same area, MMS Messaging is on? Should be.
If all else fails, go into Settings General Reset - Reset Network Settings (this will lose WiFi info but fixes a lot of messaging errors). -
I have an AT&T iPhone but only use wifi. Since I updated my phone to iOS 6.0 I cannot receive text messages from other iPhone users outside wifi range. What is the issue?
Check Settings>General>Cellular to be sure you have Cellular Data set to On.

I cannot send or receive text messages from other iPhone users. I don't get an error I just don't receive any messages and the other users do not receive mine.
Reset the devices: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

Since last weekend (3-15-15) I have been unable to send/receive text messages with a friend who has Sprint service. The messages send with no errors on either side, but neither side is receiving the messages. It seems to be only this one person affected by this issue, everyone else that I've tried sending messages to has responded with no trouble. Is anyone else having any similar issues?

Check your settings> messages and see if iMessages is turned on and if so how many 'receive at' addresses you are using, it may well be that your email address is entered as one of these addresses. -
My IPad 2 external speaker does not work and the original headphones have popping sound when used. This all occurred at the same time as my IPhone and IPod headphones only plays mono (and no, the "mono" option is not on) with the original headphones, as well as, other headphones tested. How can there be audio issue for all these devices at the same time?
As you may have noted from the list of Apple devices I own, I believed in the Apple and the products it was producing; but it is hard to believe from my experience and the other voices within the Apple Community that we are all experiencing the same hardware issues. Especially since I recently, I upgraded to an IPhone 4g (no, my faith in IPhone 5 series is very little) and is experiencing the same audio problem as described above. So now, I am off to the Apple store again to be told that it’s a hardware problem on new IPhone. Really? Apple, what happen to the pride in the product you were producing?Everyone does things a little differently. I love to "jam " along with iTunes ( or old Lp's) . Always have. That's where/how I've learned to play .
I'm sure leonieDF is giving a proper way to jam along on a keyboard with an iTune. He blows my mind all the time with what he knows. Nuff respects to him !
What I do is make a GB project I call "Jam With". I'll make several new tracks that are blank. Just has a few instruments named in the blank tracks. You can change those per song ...
Because I'm not concerned about changing the pitch / key.... of the iTune or the tempo ... I can simply play along with it.

Only some of the photos I have taken on my iPhone appear in the photo stream on my iPad even thou they were taken at the same time. Why is this and how can I import the other photos from my iPhone to my iPad?
If older photos are missing it may be because photo stream photos are only held in iCloud for 30 days. After that they are removed from iCloud but will remain (up to 1000 photos) on your device until deleted. Also, only photos taken after enabling photo stream are added to your photo stream, and only when the camera is closed, your device is connected to wifi and you have at least 20% battery life remaining.
To transfer the missing photos you can either create a shared photo stream containing them and invite yourself to it (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99), import the photos to your computer and sync them to your iPad, or use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them to your iPad over wifi. -
When im facetiming with someone and im watching a youtube video at the same time, the volume for the youtube video is lowered and the facetime volume stays the same, how can i change that?
Have you ever even used skype on an iphone or ipod? We tried it and there is no way to type to each other while you are video chatting. You can do the typing during the video on a COMPUTER, but not on an iphone or ipod.
