Click the green button in the top left corner of the window to resize it. If you can't reach the button, drag the window to the right by its title bar. You can further resize by dragging any of the edges or corners. Once you've resized the window, Safari should remember the size.

My mac book startup disk is full and when I start it, it give me a blank blue screen. I have tried the shift upon start

Iphone does n't restart and all i see is a blank screen (black screen). I have tried recharging the battrey but no success
I rebooted my computer and now it's working.
When in doubt, reboot, but in my frustration this afternoon it didn't occur to me.

I get frustrated with Apple too, but if you've spent any time on an Android device, you would know how lucky we are to have an Apple product. The interface is awful and there are no apps, even to get stuck.

My iphone is stuck on the itune screen. I have tried pushing the on/off and bottom buttons and the phone will turn off but come right back to the itune screen I also tried plugging my iphone into my computer and holding down the bottom button to see if i could get to the restore screen. Nothing, just the itune screen. Any ideas what to do to fix my phone?

I have an iphone 5s and updated it to the new 7.1 software. A day later I go and use my phone and in the top left hand corner it says no service. i have tried restoring the pone, resetting the network settings and also a hard reset as well. It gains service for a short amount of time but then it loses service. Everyone else on my plan has service and their phones are completely normal but they never did the update... what can i do to fix this problem?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar for testing, and if it is defective and under warranty they will replace. Since you say iPhone 4, was this a used or refurbished iPhone?

I have a 27 in. iMac OS X, Version 10.7.5, Intel Core i5 and have a problem with the very loud and annoying fan running continuously. The fan starts up immediately upon powering up and stays on all the time. I have researched this on the internet and have tried resetting the SMC unsuccessfully. Should I try fan control software?
To reset the SMC means to reset the power management settings for your Mac. To do this, follow these simple steps.
1) Shutdown your Mac by going to the Apple Logo in the upper left hand corner of the screen and selecting "Shut Down" from the drop down menu.
2) Turn your machine back on while continuing to hold down the power button.
3) After the initial boot chime, your power indicator light should flash three times.
4) Your screen will remain black and you will hear the boot chime again. At this point, you may release the power button and allow your Mac to boot up normally.

I have a 19" flat screen monitor.
A few things to check:
(1) Full screen mode
The F11 key switches between normal and full screen modes. Make sure you are in normal mode with all the regular bars showing.
(2) Compatibility
One thing that sometimes happens is that Windows sets up Firefox in a compatibility mode. If the whole desktop changes resolution when you start Firefox, then that is the first thing to check. Close Firefox, right-click the program icon you use the start it up, choose Properties, then the Compatibility tab, and clear out any checkboxes that might be checked there.
(3) Zoom
It is easy to zoom the page accidentally using the mouse scroll wheel. To reset zoom, you can use Ctrl+0 (that's a zero) or
View menu > Zoom > Reset
When you are using the orange Firefox button (short menus), you can tap the Alt key or press F10 to display the classic menu bar to use the old View menu.
If those don't help, can you describe what sites are affected? -

As it's a £25 card I assume that your account is also based in the UK (cards are country-specific). You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money.. -

I have sownloaded an HD movie from iTunes store and when I attempted to play it on my Windows 7 PC a error message popped up saying something about the display not being compatible for HD movies. I have tried changing the display resolution several times but it didn't help. Now it just comes up with a blank screen when I attempt to play it. SD movies work fine. I have the latest version of iTunes installed.
Can anyone help me resolve this problem?Apparently the display is required to be HDCP compatible to view HD movies in iTunes. My display isn't so this is my problem. I contacted Apple support and they have agreed to credit me for the HD movie and I have now downloaded the SD version.

Just got a new IPAD3, straight out of the box, but I cant charge it, I have tried with the power plug and cable out of the box that came with it but no joy, i have tried resetting the iPad but still no joy, have tried different mains plug sockets around the house with no joy, I have tried different USB mains plugs but again no joy, I tried using my new iPad cable into the USB port of my MacBook Pro laptop but still no joy, then, I tried using my old iPod classic cable into my MacBook Pro and that worked, so I have a way of charging my new iPad3 but its not practical as i have to take my MacBook Pro everywhere if I want to charge it which kind of defeats the object of having an iPad, has anybody experienced anything similar and how was it fixed? can anybody help me please...

Please note it did say at the store's discretion, but people have actually been able to return it to the on-line store. (I only saw a couple who tried.)
And given the outcry, I would think Apple might have other Apple stores join in. Just in case, though, if you can, you might bring it in today.
If it's an ARS, my guess is they can stick to their 14 day return. Apple cannot force them to do it. SO if it's not bought directly from Apple, and it's past the 14 day deal, I'd bring it in to the store today if you have one. When I gave people the cnet.com site, I gave it so people could read it and know only Apple had made the decision for Apple. And I suggested to some that an Apple reseller would probably stick with their own return policy.
Because Arnie had just bought his, he should be able to return it to Apple or an ARS because an ARS has to have some kind of full refund or at least return for credit within 7 or 14 days of purchase.
