When select contact for message puts wrong name in

When I send a new message I select the appropriate contact once I pick that name, then in the headlines that name does not come there it defaults to the same two contacts.

The ONLY way to remove this data from your phone, is to restore your phone as a new device in iTunes, NOT from backup. You either do that, or you live with it. Currently, there is no way to edit this data on any iPhone.

Have reset Backup Assistant Plus due to sync Errorcode 5 using Verizon response to others in this forum. After running Backup Assist Plus again, I find that I cannot select Contacts for backup. We absolutely want to make sure your contacts are backing up as well! I'm sorry you're running in to this concern. Let's figure this out together. Just to clarify, you mentioned you reset Backup Assistant Plus. Was this by following these steps: http://vz.to/14Iv5eS and clearing the data for the Sync Service and Backup Assistant apps?

Problem: When receiving a Skype message old Skype Name is used on notifications

On my iOS phone, when I recieve a message, the notificationt that pops up uses an old display name. I don't think it's the Skype Name that shows, as it was a email address, not a name used originally. Any solutions?

So, after reading your post, i'v checked the "Use Mail Package" with encoding "none" and i am now using an XSD.
When i use IMail.AssumeXMLContent = true in the Advanced Mode, it brings me only one field in my content:
e.g.

</content>
It's weird that it brings me back only one field...it takes the first one only, don't know why ???!!!
The other solution is without the advanced mode and this time, i have all my field in my content but the symbol "<" or" >" is interpreted by &#60 and &#62 (text/hexa)
I'm going to try to apply xsl or java on it...

AD security groups listed in user groups in Config Manager however not listed when selecting values for the "System Resource - System Group Name" query

Morning All,
We are in the process of setting up our SCCM 2012 infrastructure and are experiencing issues with our device collection querys based on AD security groups.
I can see the security groups are being updated per adsgdis.log - i can see the computers that are members of the groups in AD are being recorded in the same log. Issue is when we build the device collection query - click the value button for the string,
only 2 of the 18 AD security groups are displayed. These are 2 AD groups we setup initially to test.
We have since added several additional yet they only appear to populate as user groups in config manager.
The same goes for additional OUs that we have created with AD.
When i click the value button only the initial 10 OUs that were created are populating in the list of applicable OUs.
We have the discovery methods Group Discovery & System Discovery enabled and set to search the parent OU recursively
I'm wondering if there might be an SQL issue with this as it initially worked but stopped...
Additionally we added an OU recently that now appears in in the Values options in the query but the ones added previously and additionally after are not showing up....
Any help is appreciated.

Given the adsgdis.log lists the new pc and the group it's assigned to it appears the AD group discovery is working.

Here you can see it processes the new members in the Software - Microsoft Project Professional 2010 x64 group and captures Thurmanwin7vm as a member.
I did find some log entries that reference permission issues with objects in the SQL database and have opened a case with MS to get that looked into. Hopefully that will be where the issue lies.

ITunes crashes when selecting songs for importing from CD - any clues?

I'm running XP Pro on a Dell Latitude 620 with the latest version of iTunes.
When I put a CD in, iTunes shows me the tracks. But as I am selecting tracks to play (double-clicking on them), randomly iTunes crashes. Not immediatly repeatable, but it always happens within 5 minutes or so of selecting songs.
Any clues out there?

I had removed a couple of those artists and later replaced them with backups from a separate hard drive and it didn't help. I was going to ditch and replace all of them today to see if that made a difference. However, before I did, I thought I'd check a couple of things as far as renaming the artists was concerned. So I added a number to one problem artist's name, then tried opening it in the 'Artist' list. It worked fine. I went back, removed the number, and tried opening it again. Worked fine again. So I checked the other problem artists, without altering the names. They all open just fine. Problem solved! Well, not solved but mysteriously gone away, at least for now.
I think you're right about a faulty link being the problem, and I suppose something I did reestablished that link. Don't know what it was though, so I'm afraid I can't offer a solution to anyone else with a similar problem.

When selecting SMS/Text Message iPHone 4 changes it to MMS message!

I am having a weird problem with my iPhone 4 - when I select "text message" either by starting a text from the "messages" menu or from within "contacts" it sometimes (about 50% of the time) tries to change the message into an MMS. If I don't attach an image it won't allow me to send even though there is only text in the message.
I can't seem to find a wqay to change it from an MMS to a standard text message so end up cutting the text, switching the phone off and on again and trying to paste the same text into a new message. This only works some of the time .. very curious to know if anyone else has this problem as I LOVE this phone but this particular thing is driving me crazy!! Thanks

May be that it has become necessary to swap out one application module for another to initiate the SMS Application.
With all the new features recently added by Apple such as the iTunes Store, Apple may have had to implement an application switching algorithm to keep the maximum memory available for videos, music, ringtones, etc. storage.
Just one possible reason for a delay - application switchout (paging).

I think, were I in your shoes, I'd begin by looking at what the debug page has to say for the specific destination in which you're interested in fixing. In other words, I'm not clear on where, exactly, this destination points ...

"Normally", you do not need to specify a site handle to get to your site within your transfer CGI ... if you say "uillinois.edu", it's enough to transfer your users to iTunes U ... but every site still has a handle, and you could, if you wanted to, actually specify it in your transfer CGI. For example, this:

So when I look at your creds and permissions on your debug page, I can't quite tell if they give you download access for your site, or for the specific division you want to fix. If you could open the debug page with your division as destination (or confirm that that's what we're looking at), it'd rule out some things.

Error when select sheet for Excel file from Excel 2013 with visual basic

How to get Name 2 also when we search for a customer using 'Name' as search

In XD03, when I am searching for Customer using Name as Search term I am getting postal code, Name1, City, Customer no. I want Name2 also to be displayed. Can somebody please suggest.

for this you will have to change the search term involved during the master data creation.
now during the creation of customer master data , enter the name as the search term in the data base.
if possible change the database of customers and insert the name in the search term.
without it, it will be really difficult to locate the customers with the search term as their name

Calendar app crashes when selecting save for this event only

When putting my work schedule into the calendar app, I usually put it in as a repeating event until a certain date. If I edit one of those days and hit "Save for this event only" the app will crash. It does save, but the crash is quite annoying.

I'm having a similar issue, but mine is crashing when I try to delete one occurrence of a repeating event, and when I re-open the calendar the event I'm trying to delete is still there. This only began after the 8.3 update. Eventually I just gave up and deleted it on my Macbook at home, but there's obviously a bug in the update.

Hyper-V Error when selecting Disk for a new VM

I just got a new HP Server with the following entry level specs - for a small project:
1 x HP DL380e Gen8
1 x QC Processor
8GB Memory
2 x 1TB SATA HDD LFF in RAID1 running from a B120i Controller
OS Running: Windows 2008 R2 Standard on the Host.
I proceeded to install the Hyper-V Role and then created a new VM - which will also be running Windows 2008 R2 Standard (with specs as 2-core, 3GB memory, 2HDDs (OS + DATA)
I started the VM and mounted the ISO - and started the install process till I had to select on which disk to install. As stated above, I added 2 HDDs in the VM Setting - but I keep getting the message: "No
device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK"
I've checked the BIOS settings of the server and virtualiazation is set as enabled, and also hdd virtualiazation.
Any ideas on how to get around this? I tried going to HP Support but they told me it was a Windows issue and had to seek info from them.

Actually the solution was quite simple - I reloaded the Windows 2008 ISO from another USB Port.
And the installation completed successfully. Don't know really what this means though! But at least I'm up and running.

Selecting Operations for Messages in Sequence Diagrams

Is there another way of assigning operations to messages in sequence diagrams apart from selecting the message, right-clicking and then selecting the operation from the list.
The reason is that I have quite a list of operations and I can't see the last couple in the list.
Any suggestions? ...Apart from having less operations... :)

The only way to specify the operation is via the context menu. We have two levels. On is the operation context menu. The second is the context menus that list each operation by visibility. Are you not able to see all of the operations under the visibility context menus as well?

Method for quickly putting file names into IPTC core description?

I would like to put the file names into the IPTC core description. The files are all named differently .Is there a way to batch this or any other way of automatically including it so that I don't have to do each file separately? Or perhaps there is a plug in?

You only need a script… not a plug-in to do this. Search the bridge scripting forum as Im sure Paul has posted several variations of scripts that do this…

Cannot move browser window when select website for 10 seconds

After the latest update, when I have firefox up and running and I click on a favourite or type in an address, and website loads.... cannot grab the top bar and move the browser window to another monitor. 10 seconds later... it works.
