When sending an email it take 2-5min from a particular computer and is fine on all other devices

On one computer I have, when I try and send a simple email it takes 2-5min to send. When I log into my email from another computer and do the same thing it is almost instantaneous. There has to be a setting or something that is causing the function to be so slow can you help?

Could you please check if this also happens when you temporary disable the virus scanner?

I have four groups.
I just typed the name of one of those groups in the To field on the iPhone's email, and received:
Invalid Address
"<group name>" does not appear to be a valid email address. Do you want to send it anyway?
I clicked continue and it remains in my outbox.

If you don't see the "shadow man" icon, right click the toolbar and select customize.. drag the icon up to the bar.

When sending an email to multiply recipiants, using address autocompletion, all the address boxes convert to the name in the first box

I use Thunderbird for my email. When sending an email to multiple recipients, I use autocompletion from my local address book. When I select an additional recipient, the name initially appears correctly in the address box. Each time I drop down to add another recipient, the names in each box all revert to the name in the first box. I've used Thunderbird for 2 years and this just started today. Also, the cursor and names in the address box appear now in red instead of black. Hopefully you can solve this problem.

There are some evil bugs in the current version of Thunderbird. You may find it works better if you click with the mouse, or move down with the arrow keys and click or use tab. IIRC, there's an issue with use of the Enter key. Or maybe the other way round ; please experiment. It's one of those frustrating bugs that seems to affect everyone but me.

You have either entered the wrong SMTP server info or they have blocked the sending of e-mails from outside their network. That message indicates that you are not permitted to send through that server from the network you are using to connect.
Contact them again. There is no magic that will allow you to bypass this.

1. Select particular node in which you want to get mail.
2.Right click select create message.
3. It will show 3 options for Success , Error, and For both. check what you want.
4. It will ask for Process variants.

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. You can type the email using what you set in preferences and then highlight the text and use command - minus sign (or command - + for larger) to reduce the size of the text.
You can also type command - T and a window will appear allowing you to select fonts/sizes/color/ background highlight.
The above works in Notes also. I haven't tried to do this in any other Apple application.
For incoming emails, you can use the above to reduce font size, but I don't know of a way to permanently set the incoming font size to a default.
