When sending an email message with attachment, the message disappears.

I send and receive messages without any problems but when I try sending a message with an attachment (using Documents to Go, IAnnotate PDF, IWork,) the message somehow disappears (it is not sent to the destination and not listed on "Sent" messages folder. Is anyone having the same issue?

Are you saying, you are getting junk characters in the email attachment? Then pls check the following. Since you want to send Japanese fonts, please pass language 'J' in both  objpack-obj_langu = '3' & doc_chng-obj_langu  = '3' instead of '3' please replace it with 'J'.
Another thing which you may have to check is the SCOT device type. As I understand from my basis colleague, this may also affect your attachment fonts since the emails are sent through SCOT. Go to transaction SCOT-> Settings-> Device types for format conversion. Check whether wrong device type is defined for Japanese there. Hope this helps

    Here's one situation:
    I type up an email and attach an excel file to it, then save it as a draft (in my @me.com drafts).
    The draft email is now visible in the drafts folder on all of my devices: apple mail on my computer that I originally used, my iphone mail drafts, and also by signing on to www.me.com and opening my mail drafts.
    one problem is when you open up an email draft on me.com that was created on a computer mail.app, only to see the message body text lose all of its formatting and appear to be jumbled html.
    My main concern / question is:
    The email draft with attachment appears to be in tact on me.com and on the original computer, but NOT on the iphone. On the iphone, the attachment seems to disappear. Well, not disappear, because it gets replaced by a small rectangle with a blue question mark in it. Basically you cannot view the attachment on the iphone. When you try to send this draft from the iphone, it works, but with jumbled text & no attachment.
    Does anyone have similar problems???

    You are correct about the iDisk app as I have started to use that a little bit more for the sharing purposes.
    However my concern wasn't over the simple task of getting excel files onto the iPhone. It's the fact that email attachments that are either in drafts, OR ALSO if you move a message (with an attachment) into an IMAP email folder, are completely lost when it comes to viewing or sending them from the iPhone. It's stupid - the attachments are still there on my computer (and I think they are still there on the me.com mail viewer as well).
    Sometimes I move certain important work emails (that have attachments) into an IMAP email folder so they can be accessed from anywhere. The fact that the iPhone shows the paperclip and placeholder bit not the actual file is maddening. At least If the attachment was actually SENT from the iPhone, I wouldn't even care about not being able to view it (or even view the File name that is also lost).

    When exporting my indesign layout the images disappear once exporting as a PDF print.
    I have had several information bubbles appear claiming I need to alter my blend space due or colour settings ?
    I have altered the blend space to rgb and still it does not work.
    I have also unlocked all the layers in attempt for this to work.
    My assignment is due in tomorrow and still I cannot get this feature to work
    any help would be great !

    Not really helpful. OS X? Windows? Probably not relevant, as it turns out, for this problem, but you should be specific.

    Does that mean you are trying to use Mac Preview to view the PDF? If so, it may give you bad results. Mac Preview is not a godd general-purpose PDF viewer and is incapable of rendering complex PDF.
    The first error dialog you show is what you would get when opening a file in ID that has different document color spaces than the default settings in your color settings file. That's not a problem, and to preserve the color appearances you would leave things as they are.
    The second warning dialog indicates you are making an interactive PDF, which is RGB. If you are using CMYK images I don't think you'll avoid color shifts no matter what you do if you have transparency, but I don't do interactive PDF, so I can't give good advice here. If you are using RGB images, by all means your transparency blend space should be set to RGB.
    Can you post a screen shot of the export dialog?

    The option of manually copying the link and pasting would work, but I've always been able to use "Email Link" from the "File" menu until the last few days.
    Restarting the computer did not help.

    Do you have an address in the address field? The send button stays greyed out until there is something in the address field.

    Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
    Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.

    I am looking to Send a message with an attachment from my AddOn code to a recipient. 
    For now, I am just trying to send it to myself here internally.  I have spent time in the Help, Sample and the forum
    with no luck.  The Messages object and the Messages Services and I cannot get the code to send an e-mail.
    Now, my SBO Mailer service is started in the SAP B1 Serve Suite Manager. 
    Here is my code for the oMessages object.  This adds without error but I never get the e-mail.  Is there somewhere I can check to see if the email got lost?

    Hi Ed,
    Your code works fine (I can send emails to an account with attachments using this code).
    I'm assuming that you can send the message (and attachment) if you do it manually through the user-interface. If you don't get the message when you do it manually then check your SBO Mailer settings.
    When you add a message in SBO you should see new entries in the OALR and ALR1 tables. The ALR1 table has a status column (U for unsent, P for pending, S for sent and E for error). If the status remains at U then your mailer is not attempting to send the email. If you get an E status then check the application log in Event Viewer as this should record a more detailed error message (and then check SAP Notes for the code). Also check your attachments path to see if the attachment has been copied across (attachment path is in the path tab of General Settings).

    Soooo, if you ARE receiving iMessages across all iOS devices - see what I mean?
    Make sure that YOU are signed in as in #1, and try it again.
