When sending email to pc users, recipient does not receive text in email?
Hi
when sending email using MAIL to pc users from 27" IMAC, recipient receives the email and attachments, but does not receive my note/text in email?
any ideas?
If they are using Outlook, that is likely the problem.
There are two settings in the Edit>Attachments, Always send windows-friendly and attachments at end of message.
Also, set the message as Plain Text (Format menu).
Outlook has always been crappy with anything but Exchange email. They haven't fixed it in about ten years, so I wouldn't expect any changes in the future.

Some phones can only send and recieve SMS messages. If the recipients phone doesn't support MMS they won't be able to recieve a text with a photo.
To get your photos in Photo Stream, you'll need to setup iCloud. Check out this Apple article for more info -> iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ -

Why are my text messages that i am sending going thru as emails now and recipient does not receive?
I recently synced my I phone to install the recent upgrade. Nwhen I send a group text message, that I did previously with no problems, now some of my recipients do not receive. They are telling me that it looks like I am sending them an email.....????? I'm totally lost. I changed nothing on my phone other than doing the upgrade. Any advice???
Thank you. I think I am on to something. Went thru with your instructions and the receive at is my email address......my phone number is in light gray and says error. I cannot open it to change it.

I have gmail preloaded in a section of my google home page. But when I click on the gmail link itself it only posts email from a few days ago when this started and does not show any of the newer emails

Contact uses a tracfone, does not receive text messages but sent messages show on iPhone 6
As recently as 2 weeks ago, text messages where working to and from this contact. His carrier with Tracfone is AT&T.
I've already done some troubleshooting:
I am able to receive messages from my contact with the Tracfone, and it appears to send the message. But he never receives it.
He is able to send/receive messages from other contacts - including contacts with plans, and contacts with straighttalk/prepaid.
I am able to send/receive texts from other contacts - including those with plans and those with prepaid.straighttalk/prepaid.
He is not able to receive a group message from me, although other contacts do.
I am able to send/receive group messages from other contacts - including those with plans and those with prepaid.
I have tried with iMessage turned on and with it turned off.
I have tried with MMS messaging turned on and with it turned off.
I've verified the number is not listed as blocked.
I've deleted and recreated the contact and verified the number is correct.
Cellular data is enabled, as is LTE voice & Data.
I have service, and have not received any red exclamation points indicating failed to send.
I've already tried turning the device on and off.Bunifufu, we appreciate you providing us with your phone type details. That is definitely odd that this is occurring. Just in case, what type of phone does the other user own? While it is strange they aren't receiving your messages, and that your phone displays sent. (Especially if the other person uses an iPhone and iMessaging too) There may be an issue on their end if it is indeed sending correctly on your end. That's an iPad/iPhone email problem, not an Adobe Reader problem. Assuming you emailed it directly from the iPad/iPhone, it would be sent out through the Mail app. I'd open that, then you need to view your email accounts, and click your default email account. Look for an email that never got sent (probably thru an error) from your Outbox.

Check the spam filter and wait a few hours. If you haven't gotten it after then, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.

The "multipart" stuff primes the browser to send files. -
Since upgrading iMac to osx lion I have been experiencing problems in mail, it spontaneously stops receiving and tells me it can't find the pop server and also the biggest problem is that when I send with an attachment the recipient doesn't receive it.
I have to restart mail most times before it starts recieving or recognizes the pop server.

I'm sending an iMessage from my iPhone to another iPhone but the recipient phone does not receive message because not on wifi. Why does recipient iPhone not automatically receive in text messaging?
Wi-Fi is not required for iMessage. Internet access is required for iMessage which includes when the iPhone is connected to the cellular network.
If an iMessage cannot be sent, it will fail to send and you will be prompted to send as an SMS if text only. -
I re-set password using specific user ID but when I put new password in it does not say incorrect password it just spins and spins never accepting it. What is the problem?
Update on my problem connecting in Itunes with my Airport Express. Not sure if anything I tried made a difference
but I finally got the Pop up window saying this device requires a Password. I entered the password and I can once again use the Airport Express as a remote speaker. -
My iphone does not connect to my email provider and fetch my email. I have been getting emall ok previously, this occurred when I changed my password on my email account. I have "set up a new account" but get the message "server is unavailable". I have tried several things but to no avail. Does anyone have the solution?
ThanksDid you ever fix this problem? The same thing happened when I just changed my kids passwords and now can't access their mail on their iPods or my iPad but I use the same email provider and mine is fine however I did not change my password. If you fixed it how did you?
