When shall we expect sim free iPhone6 from Apple?
Right now, I am working at USA. I will go back to India on January 2015. I want to buy a unlocked iPhone 6 which should support local carriers at India. I have gone through many forums and stopped by at T-Mobile and Apple stores but didn't get correct answer for this. If I buy T-Mobile contract free iPhone 6 is that unlocked? Or do I need stay with that T Mobile service for 40 days then they could send a code to unlock my new iPhone 6? Please assist.

So if you went to T-Mobile and Apple and they couldn't give you a definite answer, what makes you think us users in this user to user technical forum would know the answer to that.
You will need to be patient and wait until Apple announces or releases it.

Please Help!!I had the exact same problem. Worked fine for a couple days then suddenly getting this error. I fixed it, however.
Do this:
Open the App Store app on your phone.
Go to the "Featured" section.
Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on your Apple ID.
Screen pops up. Choose "Sign out".
Scroll to the bottom of the "Featured" section again.
Sign back in.
Try your download again.
This worked for me. Good luck! -

According to a chat with an Apple support representative, the iPhone 5s is not yet sold fully unlocked. But it is unlocked for international use. This means that it won't work on any GSM carrier in the US other than T-Mobile. But it will work with any GSM carrier outside of the US using a SIM card. You should make sure the frequency bands are compatible with your local carrier.

My uderstanding is that these phones are factory unlocked, but the wording at the website is a little misleading. I want to verify that they are indeed fully factory unlocked because I plan on uisng them with AIO Wireless
This may not be the option for your then. These iPhones come preinstalled with a T-mobile for use domestically and can be used internationally with a local GSM carrier.
You would need to contact AIO wireless directly to see if it would be compatible.

They are unlocked in the sense that they can be used internationally. I can see how that would be confusing. The option you are looking for would be the contract free and SIM free iPhone 5s.

If you don't want to give credit card details then you need to create an account by following the instructions on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 - if you don't use those instructions when creating it then you will need to give card details before you will be able to use the account in the store

Downloaded a free ebook from Apple store about a month ago. The book cover is visible in Ibooks on the IMAC but not in the library on my IPAD. When I click to read it is highlighted but no pages appear. Other books open as I click on the cover. Suggestions?

Don't bother to buy iPhoto again. It is no longer supported on iOS 8.
And GarageBand is now a paid app, but now you no longer to pay for the in-app purchase. It is free now. -

I'll ask this again. I'm running Yosemite, LR 4.4 everything was running fine and I'm not sure if this is connected but when I loaded the last security update from Apple I started getting the "no content" box when I tried to publish to Flickr (Facebook OK), now I can't get it to authorize, I loaded 3rd party JR plug in and still get can't authorize. Can anybody help? Basically LR is useless, it has been nothing but problems.

I have iPhone 4.Version 6.1.3.I have upload and purchased a lot of things from Apple store.It was Music free icon Japanese media,also Movie uploader icon.I was intended to open but requested to sign in and I was registered in You tube and Google.The Video has been opened and after 5 min,everything stopped.Screen Touch dont recognize anything.I mean I was trying to close the video but screen touch was not reacting.After I have switched off/on the iPhone but no result.I can switch on but cant press the buttons.And there is a voice which is just repeating if you are trying to press the button.Now I dont know what to do ? No, I have not tried any backup tools. I havent restored my ipod back to factory settings yet and then sync everything back on it. I am kind of scared too because I dont want to lose anything. I have just been hoping some new apple software update will come out because I know several people have had problems when updating to the newest version available.

to ask Apple to remove the sim lock directly? I know Apple in contract with providers, but an example:
I get an iPhone from US (as an european person). It locked for one of US providers. I can activate it (if I have original
provider's SIM or on CDMA network), but nothing else. So I get an iPod (in good case). To use this device, I must go
to US, stay there for many months, make a contract with the provider, and after many waiting, they may unlock it for
other fees (or not). As anyone can see, this is not a working way.
So if the phone is clear (were on good standing on original provider, not reported as stolen device etc.) is it possible
