When should an Account be created

Hello,
We are in a stand still with the business decision of when to create an Account. Reviewing your definition of an account as follows, “Accounts are generally companies that you do business with, but you can also track partners and competitors as accounts. The Account pages in Oracle CRM On Demand allow you to create, update, and track accounts.”, some business users are interpreting the part “you do business with” as meaning you only create an account if you have specific sales business with the company. Another set of business users believe that you should create an Account if you plan on nurturing a future, potential customer. IE – a lead comes into Marketing and is handed over to Sales. Sales, after some work, rejects the lead as “No Current Business”, Marketing, if they see value, convert the lead to an Account/Contact if they want to keep for future marketing campaigns, email blasts, etc ?
I am hoping that I can gather some opinions here to use to make my case that it is very appropriate to create an Account/Contact for a nurture-worthy lead.

Leverage the "Account Type" field to classify an account record as a customer or a suspect or a prospect or a competitor or a partner or anything as long it is a company / organization. The notion of Business in the definition not necessarily means that you have a sales contract with them. This is how it is generally used in other implementations too.

When a user creates an account I need to send an email to several employees. I already know the name of the employees beforehand so this doesn't seem to be that difficult. Can anyone help with this.

My workflow is fairly simple it only has one main thing to do send an email.

When I double click "0000999504 Event Triggered when BP Is Created"
I go to the "Start Events" tab and the following is set:
Active = True
Binding:
If I click on the binding I see:
Event &_EVT_CREATOR& -> Workflow &_WF_INITIATOR&
Event &_EVT_OBJECT& -> Workflow &BUS1006&
I can do a "Check" on this and it says: "No errors found"
For condition I have:
Expression 1: &_EVT_OBJECT.CATEGORY& = Expression 2: 2
The 2 stands for Organizations because I only want to send the email when the BP is of type Organization.
If I do a check on this it says "Syntax Check: The condition is correctly formulated"
The category is BO
The object type is BUS1006
And the event of the object is "CREATED"

You can't. Apps and really all content purchased/downloaded through one Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. In the case of Apps they will always request that Apple ID to update as they are licensed to that Apple ID.
In reality, the Apps were licensed to that Apple ID by the developer. And cannot simply be given away to you for you to use.
He should have wiped the iPod clean so you could set it up for your use without any of his accounts or purchased content as you are not really licensed to any of those Apps.

Did you follow the instructions on that page exactly when you created the account ? They worked for me yesterday on my computer's iTunes when I tried them in response to another thread.
e.g. I logged out of my existing account and found a free app in the store and clicked on its free 'price'

Send Email when user account is created

I have a GTC which is run as a scheduled task to create a user in OIM. I want to send am email to the user once the new account is created from the scheduled task, the email needs to contain the user account and password. For developing such a process should the email definition be of Type Provisioned( so that I map it to Scheduled task) or do I need to make it as a General type. Can some one please explain this process in detail

Hi, I followed the following process for sending an email when the Scheduled task is completed :
a. Create a Resource Object RO1 and a Provisioning Process definition for RO1.
Add a task say, Email, to process definition.
b. Open the email task and click the Notifications tab.
c. Click Assign to bring up the list of Email Definitions.
d. Select the Email Definition defined in step 2 above and assign it to the task.
e. Check for - Requester, User and User Manager and map the status to 'C'.
f. In the RESPONSE tab, Set the response as 'C' and set Status field as complete.
g. In the TASK TO OBJECT STATUS MAPPING, make the object status to provisioned.
h. In the Integration tab, add System adapter 'tcCompleteTask' and save.
But even after this the email does not go to the user whose account has been created. Kindly advice

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

SO number as reference in accounting document created when posting GI

In the header of accounting document, which is being created after posting goods issue, in the "Reference doc." field delivery number is displayed.
Is it possible to have in this field sales order number?? If so, where can I change this set up?

I chcecked the VTFL and I can only see that in this transaction you can do this kind of settings and change the reference field but in accounting document which is created after posting a billing document (and I would like to change it for accounting document created after posting GI when the billing doc. does not exist yet)

Hi Rob,
From the screen shots it looks like your script is not formatted properly (you may refer to 'Paladin Script' in 'Sample Project' to get an idea of how the script should be formatted.).
Further please follow the steps mentioned below to use Story to PP workflow.
Create a new Film script in Adobe Story
Create scene heading – INT. LOCATION – Day (these will show up in the outline view panel on left hand side)
Hit enter, hit TAB
Enter the name of the speaker, hit TAB or ENTER
Copy over the transcribed text
Build your script this way
Number scenes from the production menu
Export ASTX file for your script : File->Export->.astx
Open Premiere Pro
Create a new project, bring in media
In the project pane, find the "Scene" column
For the clip that contains the spoken text, assign the same scene number to the clip as you have in the story script (lets say both are scene 1)
Click out of the scene box in the project panel in Ppro
Right click on the scene that you just assigned a scene number to and select – attach Story script
Select the .astx fle you exported in step 8
Click ok
You should now see the script data in the metadata panel for the clip in the metadata panel.
You can now run speech to text based on "Embedded Script metadata" to time align spoken word to the script.

You do not have to use any port number. Just go to System Preferences on your Mac and click on iCloud (OS X 10.7.5 and later).

I followed your instructions, but it did not work for me. I clicked login, and then clicked the Adobe ID, I entered ( my original behance email address) and my Adobe ID password. When I clicked Sign In a message says “The Adobe ID and password do not match. Please try again.” I then tried logging in by clicking the Adobe ID, added the (my original behance email address) with my password I used on the original Behance account. The Adobe ID asked my birthdate and it seemed to work. Not sure how it worked, but thanks.

Which PnL GL Accounts should have cost elements created for??

Dear Sap FICO Experts,
I am confused that which profit and loss GL Accounts should have cost elements created.
Some suggested that Price Differences, Cost of Goods Sold, Revaluation of inventory and change in WIP GL Accounts should not have Cost elements created, and some have the other opinions. Kindly let me know the reason if you suggest that for particular accounts, cost elements should be created.

As per my knowledge not all P&L accounts are created as cost elements.
All expenses realted GL accoutns are created as cost element category 01
All revenue related GL accounts are created as cost element category 11
Al sales deductions related GL accounts are created as cost element category 12.
The above given are some of the categories of cost elements we can create in SAP.
