When "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases" is selected in "Preferences" it causes my itunes to crash. Any help will be much appreciated.

This started happening a couple days ago. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I also disabled my firewall and antivirus to make sure nothing was blocking that connection. I read, in this community, that you could open itunes in safe-mode and turn off the "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases" selection in the preferences menu. This stopped my itunes from crashing upon opening but I no longer have access to my movies in the cloud. If I select that option, as soon as it tries to connect, itunes crashes. Is there a fix?

Try iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not in My Library.
Also:
Try Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Reset Cache.
Try signing out of the store and then back in again.
See if you are able to re-engage the "Show iTunes in the cloud purchases" option.

When I copy a CD onto my macbook pro I sometimes get several songs that are "out" of the album. How do I get them all together in one album? Any help will be much appreciated as I cannot seem to find the solution to this problem in the troubleshooting section of iTunes.
Generally all you need do is give tracks from the same album a common Album Artist. See Grouping tracks into albums. The images need an update but the basic info. still holds.

I am trying to download a variety of files and when it is finished, the Mac freezes up and the task bar continue to blink on and off.
I have to go into Firefox and actually quit the application to continue. Any help is very much appreciated.are you backing up files, or doing a Time machine backup, either way, the Time machine will STOP when finished and show "last backup at XXXXXX" meaning its done...... OR if when transferring files, it will show a progress bar on your desktop and vanish when files are copied.
Open up the Hitachi drive (your G drive is made by Hitachi, and the best made by the way).....and see if the files are there.
a MORE VISUAL way is to open the hard drive file, and drag and drop files INTO the Gdrive and you can see them visually be copied there as you do it.
To see your HD on your desktop GOTO FINDER......PREFERENCES....then GENERAL TAB.........check the box marked HARD DRIVES.........then your Gdrive will appear on your desktop........open it from there, and DRAG and drop files from anywhere INTO the Gdrive....... easy visual way to see the files being copied into the Gdrive. -

I just checked your account, and see that it's active. Are you trying to sign in via Adobe Reader? If so, please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader and make sure that it-s up-to-date. The most current version, 11.0.07, should alleviate that sign-in error.

Why does it say "The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel." when trying to install itunes64installer on my b4 bit windows 7 acer pc? Any help would be much appreciated...
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

sudo update_dyld_shared_cache
Press RETURN. You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed to the screen. Press RETURN again.
Next, boot the computer into Safe Mode.
Next, do the following:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
I can't see any videos in sites like Youtube. I have Quicktime Mac versions 10 in the application folder and Mac version 7.6 in the utilities folder. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.
*** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. Did a clean install 10.9.4. on a Apple Stock 1TB Fusion Hard Drive. When I run "diskutil list" via Terminal, everything is wrong. I have "EFI" and "apple Boot Boot OSX" in every dev/disk** Everything is out of place, How can I repair? Im willing too reformat if need be, however thats what I did in the first place. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I have just had a system update. Safari 5.1.7, a security update 2012-200 and Remote app update and now when I go into a site with flash it says I do not have adobe flash. I have installed it from the site but still no luck? any help would be much appreciated Cheers Dave

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning device recognition issues:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X
Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
Restart your iOS device.
Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Try another USB cable.

I used to be able to download files from the Harddrive of my Sony Handycam, but now it won't let me import them while going through "log and transfer." I have tried to update my settings, but this doesn't seem to work. Any help would be much appreciated
Hard Drive: The Hard Drive is on my camera (Sony Handycam)
Just needed some info on what is going on with your particular system.
Knowing the exact camera model will also assist us.
If this camera is standard AVCHD you should be able to connect with USB to Mac with FCE open and use Log and Transfer without all the fiddling around converting etc.
What FCE does during ingest is convert files to AIC. (Apple Intermediate Codec)
FCE cannot read the individual files in the BDMV folder, that's why all the converting is required when you use that method.
BTW: regards formatting drives/cards/memory on cameras; it is wise to use the actual device to format rather than a computer. This is a prime cause of read/write goof ups with solid state media. This applies to still or video cameras.
Keeping the COMPLETE card/memory structure in tact is vital for successful transfers.

Can anyone explain what I need to do. I am buying a new computer, need to de-authorise my old computer and then put the library on a new windows computer. I have my library backed up to the cloud for which I pay extra. I am not at all technical so if anyone could give me idiot instructions I would much appreciate it. Finding the instructions from apple assume I know basic,s and that confuses me!

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

Take a look here to see how to create a session variable. Once the session variable is set you can set the binding for it by the session variable name and then place binding onto page to show dynamic info for logged in user. For php to add a session from linked tutorial add code similar to this adding info = to $sessFirstName where appropriate. You can add the session variable onto the page that your users login form is located on. Just add a registered session line and another line to define the newly-registered session variable.
