When sidebar is opend using iframe, in new tab it renders in upper left corner of the Page.

I am working on crossrider framework i have built the Text Tracker extension(add-on) using this framework when it is installed it is displayed as sidebar on webpage .Actually this sidebar is opened in iframe tag and when i open any link in new tab then this side bar does not rendered properly and shown in the upper left corner of the page ,if you have any solution then share it with me.

What has happened to the 'back' button that used to be in the upper left corner of the page?
Suddenly yesterday I lost the ability to return to the homepage when I'm finished with a website.
Also I no longer have a way to log onto a website with a www...If you do not see any menus or toolbars, Firefox might be in full screen mode. The F11 function key switches between regular and full screen modes.
Make sure your Navigation Toolbar (main bar with URL area and back button) is turned on using either of these:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar > Navigation Toolbar
* tap the Alt key > View menu > Toolbars > Navigation Toolbar
If the Navigation Toolbar is visible but some controls are missing, try resetting your toolbars as follows:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar > Customize
* tap the Alt key > View menu > Toolbars > Customize
In the Customize dialog, click the Restore Default Set button.

i forgot how to use the setting, move the mouse to the upper left corner and the windows become smaller for an overview?
I'm not quite sure what you want - if you want an overview of all open windows, use the F key.. Otherwise please post back and be more specific.

I open my favorite forums website. When I open a thread in a new tab the window starts at the bottom. I have to scroll up to see the top of the thread.
Does it do it if you run Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]? If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

When I am on some pages, clicking on a article/picture link opens a new tab instead of continuing in the same window. By staying in the same window, I can back click on my mouse and continue on with other reading/links on the original page without manually having to move the mouse and click to close the tab. For example: on news pages, if I click on a financial article, a new tab opens with that linked article on the website's financial site. If I keep going back to the original page w/o closing tabs, I end up with too many tabs open.
yeah, instead of using multiple windows, you can use multiple tabs inside one window. That way, you can browse multiple websites at once without having to flick back and forth between multiple windows.
To open tabs of the websites you want to browse, just right-hand click on whatever website you want to visit (For example a site from your bookmarks or a site from a Google search result) and select 'open link in tab'. -
I had a problem with some malware/adware by the time I got it removed it had altered much of Firefox.
I have managed to correct everything apart from the thumb nails of frequently used sites on a new tab. I know there should be a 3 x 3 grid in the top right corner but it doesn't show. When I try to open a particular website I get a pageck in the upper left hand corner of the screen and the website won't open.

This also happened at a bookseller's website, when I clicked on the photo of a book to enlarge it. Instead of showing me an enlargement, it took me to the same blank screen with the title bar, "Mozilla Firefox", and below it another bar with the words "Search Bookmarks and History," both at the top left of the screen. This has happened repeatedly at the two websites I have mentioned. When I went to the same sites using Internet Explorer, the error didn't occur. I did a Microsoft system restore for a previous restore point, but it still did not eliminate this glitch.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

I am having trouble with the this site. It loads but keeps on trying to load. in the tab it flashes connecting ....emails and passwords not retained...connecting ...and so on.
the functionality of the page does not allow scrolling through the page it just goes back to the opening position.

I've verified that:
- browser.tabs.loadInBackground: False
- browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground: True
- "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is enabled in the UI.
It seems only some websites actually switch to the new tab. Also, sometimes, this feature will stop working all together; requiring me to toggle the Firefox UI setting and/or restart firefox.Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

I keep multiple windows opened and minimized. Sometimes when I click on the task bar to restore one, it apparently "disappears" out of view beyond the upper left corner of the screen. From then on, it can only be seen by using Maximize in the task bar. When Restore/Move/Size are clicked, the pointer just goes to the upper left corner of the screen with all combinations of clicking/dragging having no success. What causes this, and what can be done to move it back?
If a window disappear then using the system menu can make it reappear or make it possible to move that window in view. I don't know what causes it to make the window disappear in your case if it does work correctly if you start Firefox.
You can check the browser.link.open_newwindow prefs on the about:config page if you want to open all links in tabs in the current window.

White pixel appearing in screen in upper left corner when using fullscreen
hi,
Whenever I use fullscreen a white pixel will appear in the upper left corner of the screen.
The pixel is also appearing in a screenshot, so it must be software.
Last week I did a clean install on my mac, and only put my files back (not the preferences). But I have the same problem again.
When I delete the loginwindow.plist and log off and in again, the problem is gone. But will reappear when my mac will go to sleep and wake again (or restart).
Can anybody help me fix the problem?

Resetting the PRAM fixed this for me.
Resetting PRAM:
Start up computer hold down CommandOption+PR
Hold until 2nd startup sound

Yahoo toolbar suddenly imposed itself as my log on screen whenever I booted up my computer and clicked on Firefox. Now I can't get to my bookmarks even though it told me that if I activated the new bookmark system it would transfer my old ones. It didn't happen. The toolbar has no bar for typing in a www.http address. I cannot use it and don't want it. I am using Explorer just so I can access my bookmark address, but don't like Explorer. I want my old Firefox screen back that has the little orange button in the upper left corner of the screen. How can I get there? My computer use has been highly curtailed by this unrequested invasion!
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.<br />
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.

I've done it a million times, I copy a selection of type...I select the type that I want to replace it with, and then I paste. Now, Illustrator will only paste the text as a "point text" (a single line) somewhere else on the artboard—it seems to always be the upper left corner of the art board.

In cases of sudden appearance of strangenesses, the list may be relevant, hopefully the easy part at the top.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.
