When someone leaves me a voice mail. I don't get it for awhile.
This has happened a few times. my phone will ring and someone will leave me a voice mail. i don't get it for about a day.
is there something I can do to get my vm's sooner?

You may want to call AT&T and have them look at your account. You should be getting voicemails almost immediately after they have been left by the caller.

I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic. And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4, so it appears my headset mic is fine. I can also use voice activated dialing, although it fails miserably interpreting numbers. However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic. I just get barely audible static. Hello, did you ever get an answer to your question? I just picked up a Jawbone Era and using on an iPhone 4s running 5.0.1. Seems to work fine on regular calls, but not on the built in Voice memos application. It worked fine on my older Jawbone Icon, but haven't tested on the 4s or iOS 5.

Is there free voice mail service? if so how do I set it up? When I click on the voice mail icon all I see is the accept/decline agreement for Visual Voice Mail and it said something about charges will be applied on my bill so I declined.
Your Basic voice mail is a free required program for you if you do not want Basic Visual Voice mail (free) or Premium which is a paid service. Basic Voice Mail set up is free and easy to do.
1. Sign in to your My Verizon online account.
2. On left side of page in Blue letters find the drop down menu. Click to open menu then go to change features and locate Basic Voice mail and click the Red add button.
3. When you're done making this change click next at the bottom of the screen and then ok.
4. Now go into your device and set up your Basic voice mail program. You may continue to receive an error message for a period of time “Visual voice mail update”, just clear and disregard. -

I think you want to use the automatic action for config fetch which comes with ciscoworks, right?
Did you check that the syslog message from the router came to the server?
If yes, is it in the right form? (I think it is)
I have sometimes the problem with this function that the Analyser was full of syslog messages and drops all new syslogs.

Skype bugs out when someone leaves the call in gro...
Hi all,
Lately everybody in our groupchat has been having issues when someone leaves the call.
When they leave, it looks like the whole call has been disbanded, but the people that didn't leave can't see the call.
Which concludes to: Nobody can leave the call, we have to exit skype completely and relog.
Does anyone else have this issue and does someone know how to fix this?

EDIT: When this happends, we can go into another call while being in the groupschat call.It is a bug and there is no fix as of yet, other than loading another OS (downgrading.)

Dealing with Person column when someone leaves the organization?
We have a list which has a person (people picker) column. This column pulls from (is validated against) several possible sources including Active Directory. If a name cannot be found when adding/updating a record then the following error message
appears in red just below that field:
> No exact match was found. Click the item(s) that did not resolve for more options.
We have a particular record we are trying to update. Per security policy former employees *must* be deleted from AD. Now, however, that the person in the person column of this record has left it is impossible to update his record due to the mentioned
error message. His name won't validate even though he still exists in the User Information List.
How can this be overcome? Is it a configuration issue? It must be possible to update the record of a person who has been deleted from AD; otherwise, this would present major issues to organizations. We are considering using text for person
names instead of system-validated person columns and clearly that would not be Microsoft's intent.

The given answer indicates an issue with our security policy, but I'm told our policy of deleting (not disabling) AD accounts is fairly standard in the industry. Is Sharepoint not properly equipped to deal with deleted AD accounts? If so, it
would seem to render the people picker useless.I would agree, this is an issue with the security policy (simply disabling users is also quite common, e.g. in case they return to the organization you can simply reactivate their account). But are you also removing the person from the User Information
List within SharePoint?

I have a .mov file that plays on my mac but when someone tries to play it on a pc, they get an error 128 message. Help! Please!
This is not the problem. We are using quicktime on the pc's and the mac. I also tried to open the file on the pc with other programs and it doesn't recognize the file. The file opens fine on my mac but I cannot save it as a new file. It says that "the end of the file was reached." The recording was made in iShowU then edited in Quicktime Pro.

I have 2 email accounts Gmail and Bell mail. I can add mailboxes to gmail but when I try the same procedure with Bell mail I don't get an edit button so can't add any mailboxes.
Mailboxes can be added only to IMAP accounts. Is Bell setup as IMPAP or POP?

I am new to the IPAD - I was wondering when I am in my e-mail and I am finished with looking at a e-mail, now do I get it to go back to a blank screen so I don't end up with a bunch of open windows. Also, can you open up folder where bulk - junk mail will go automatically?
You can't have bunch of open windows on the iPad, you can only work on one window at a a time. Tap the home button to go back to the home screen or double tap the home button - no all of your recent apps will be at the bottom of the screen in the recents tray. Tap on the app that you want to go back to. You can also use Multitasking gestures - go to Settings>General>Multitasking Gestures>On. When you are in the setting You can read how it works.
You cannot open a bulk folder for junk mail to go to automatically. Junk mailboxes can only be set up in IMAP email accounts. If you had an IMAP account, you would already have a junk mailbox in the mail app since it would have probably synced to the iPad when you set the email account up on the device.
If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well. -

I'm not sure what you call it but your arrow pointer would turn into a hand and you could click on it. Now, when I post using FireFox, I don't get that ability. If I use FireFox and view older post that were created with IE, the link is there but not the post from FF. It's only when I post using FF.
