hp officejet 6000 when attempting to print, i get the error message "the printer is offlline" when it is not' ...this is a new installation..

This sounds like Thunderbird did not close properly.
When you exit Thunderbird, allow the computer a few moments to fully close all processes before shutting down computer.
Access your Profile folder and delete the parent.lock file.
make hidden files and folders visible:
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders
Locate your Thunderbird Profile folder:
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
If using Windows:
C:\Users\Windows user name\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\Profile name
* Find the '''parent.lock''' file in your profile folder.
* Delete that file.
* close window - top right X
* Start Thunderbird.

have a text convo with the person you want to delete. Go to the top contact in the text convo, hit edit contact, and delete that contact.
That resolution came from another thread on this issue, and this did solve to poster's issue.

After downloading Firefox, the ADMINISTRATOR box comes up - and although I am the registered Administrator it is asking for a password I have never entered. What do I do to 'run' Firefox?

I had Firefox 8 set as my preferred web search. I think I pressed something on the toolbar because most of it disappeared and I couldn't get it back - even after rebooting. So I deleted Firefox and re-loaded it. Although it downloads, now it wont 'run' as a box comes up stating 'current user' 'administrator'. I bought my laptop brand new, and am the administrator - it says so on my login details . . . but I have never entered a password for this, and the password for 'Administrator' does not match any that I use. What is wrong here? How do I get Firefox to 'run'?
PS. I am not a confident computer user, being new to the technology (Yes I'm old!)

I tried to update firefox and I got the "run as administrator" even though I am the only user on a personal desktop. I read other posts on this site and it advised to uninstall and reinstall. Now I can't install firefox period. Everytime I try, again it's with "run as administrator."

I've tried uninstalling iTunes and restarting my system but have the same results. I like the iPad but having to deal with this type of issue is beginning to make me feel like this is not the product for me. Your assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Vendor Master - street addr and PO box/different city and state

Issue: Check print for vendor is wrong when both street and PO Box address are populated in Vendor Master. Print Preview shows correct PO Box with correct city and state, but when check prints using the PO Box, it uses the city from the street address. Please help.
Example:
Street address for vendor is Westport, CN.
PO Box for vendor is Newark, NJ.

Checking for a check box using if and statement

I am trying to have an alert pop up when "funded by grant" box is check AND ("journey based program" OR "BFF series") boxes are not checked. I can do very simple scripts, but I cannot get a grasp on if I am even on the right path. Any ideas?

My ipad 2 mail inbox shows there are 12 emails still in the box, how do I get it to stop saying I have emails when I obviously do not?

My ipad 2 shows that I have 12 emails in my hotmail inbox. There are absolutly no emails in the inbox. I deleted everything from the normal inbox, trash and spam. I have also tried closing out the app so it starts fresh, I have restarted my ipad etc. I really dont want to delete the account becasue I cannot remember the password and the password always gets sent to someone else and they wont let me change it. I will do this if it is my last resort. But does anyone have a clue how to fix my problem?

When you do an upgrade, sometimes the pad goes back to the isp server for the unread count. These are likely old e mails that you never opened, and are so far down the list that they dont make it to your oad. In any event - go to the mail server via safari or on a computer and use webmail. You can find those emails there and delete them -

Every time i go to a different website the is warning box comes up and its titled [JavaScript Application] and inside it says "uninstal set" i need to know what to do.
