When submittng my purchasing information it tells me to call iTunes support, but I keep getting led in circles and I just want to purchase an album for my ipod already. If you could help I would totally love it!

I have just made my appleid this morning and I was all excited to start purchasing itunes and it's like "to complete this you must call iTunes support" and i'm like okay, so I've called various numbers and I finally got hold of a human and she told me she couldn't help. Please someone!~ i'm just really mad and I just want to purchase and it's not letting me.

iMacs take generic power cords. If it fits into the back of the iMac and an electrical socket, it'll work.

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:

You can either try again later to see if it works or you can contact itunes support.

I've tried a lot of the stuff mentioned at that link and elsewhere, modifying host files etc. trying to downgrade my iPhone 4 back to 5.1.1 no luck , apple has locked up 5.1.1 for my phone and iPad . one post said I'm "stuck with iOS 6" darn I should have been more careful. I have the 5.1.1 Ispw on my MacBook its a permissions thing I don't understand. I'll post when I find a way around it and I will . iOS 6 took away most of my AirPlay functionality . to hek with iPhone 5 I'm starting to look at android. big bummer apple

Connect the iOS device to your computer and try to make a backup. Yo shld be able to make a backup if you previously syncing to this computer.
iOS: How to back up
Then restore via iTunes. The iOS device will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

I am trying to download an App in the iTunes Store but I keep getting an error message that reads: "Could not sign in - An unknown error has occured." Why?

Installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo may help this.
Restart your Mac after installing the combo then try downloading Lion.
It's ok to install the combo even though you are already running v10.6.8
BEFORE you do this make sure your Mac meets Lion's requirements:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OSX v10.6.6 or later (V10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available spare

[locked] it tells me to install adobe 9 but all i get is adobe 10 and i downloaded that but....

On that PC, launch iTunes. From the menu bar top of your screen click Store / Authorize This Computer.

Trying to download reader but I keep getting stuck at 76% and it won't complete-anyone help?

Everytime I try to download Reader 9.1 it only downloads to 76% and then won't continue. I've unistalled all acrobat stuff on the computer. I get no error messages, it just stalls and won't continue. This happens every time and I've tried probably 20 times. Thanks

What browser are you using? Some browsers like AOL's prevent large file downloads.
