Hello, any scroll down menu,c such as where the URL goes, freeks out when I click on the URL space or the down arrow to look at my history. This happens with all these types of menus. And also I frequently am unable to scroll down my screen. Even now as I am typing the curser keeps going back up to the top of the box where I started this message. I Fully scanned my computer and my computer protection didn't find any problems so I am thinking it is Firefox

Did you restore as NEW, not using backup at all?

I'm unable to scroll down the page using laptop touch pad.

My FF was updated automatically. I'm unable to scroll down the page using the laptop touch pad scroll option.
It was working fine on FF before upgrade and after upgrade on IE browser. But, in FF 9 it is not working. Any help is appreciated.

Outlook operating time is directly from the Windows clock that incudes the change of times for daylight saving etc. It is set for UTC Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisban, London with daylight saving included in the options. I can't see what I can do.

What's the deal when syncing to an iPhone? Unexpected results

I'm new to Aperture, and have had odd issues when syncing selected Aperture albums through iTunes to my iPhone 3G. First, the photos appear in chronological order in Aperture 2, but are completely random when browsing the albums on my iPhone. Also, edits do not appear in images on my iPhone - not even simple crops. Can anyone please help? I've restored my iPhone once, and it didn't do anything, and it's frustrating that I cannot find a photo on my iPhone when I want. iPhoto did it fine!

Well, I did a test a few minutes ago. I made a working copy of one photo and gave it a big blue cast, so I could see the difference to the original photo. The working copy was stacked together with the original, so I moved the working copy to first place in the stack. I checked the settings in Aperture for iLife support: quality is set to 10 and max. size of previews is set to 1920x1920 px. On top of the iLife checkmark is the checkmark "create previews on demand" which is checked in my case.
I then connected my iPhone and synched it with iTunes to that project. The photo with the blue cast I created in Aperture was shown on my iPhone. Thats it.

Purchased songs lost when syncing from my iphone to itunes, how do I get them back?

I have not had my iphone to my labtop for a month, Connected it just now, and when itunes was done syncing only the two newest purchases, of about 20 over the last month, was synced.
None of the others are left on either the iphone, nor are their anywere to be found on my itunes...

Agree but annoyed that the IPhone syncs just about everything automatically except photo in camera roll. I just use windows explorer to copy and paste the photo files to my PC subdirectory. IPhone does sync photos from a chosen pc subdirectory to your Iphone. Strange they go only one way when "syncing" to me means maintaining both devices with the same files. Oh well, maybe the next OS will do it.

Possible bug when syncing between iCal & iPhone

Am I doing something wrong. Here's the scenario.
I have set up a continuous repeating appointment in iCal for my daughter
Mon-Fri inclusive. 'School'
I then went and changed selected events to 'Summer Holiday' where applicable, each time I changed a day it asked whether I wanted to change 'Just this event' or 'All future events'.
I selected 'Just this event'.
iCal worked fine and showed the new event on the correct days, but when I synced with the iPhone, the iPhone showed two events, the original repeating event and now the amended event as a new one. After the sync iCal still showed as correct
It seems to be a flaw in the sync between the iPhone and iCal.
Does this make sense?
Can anyone else duplicate this scenario, or am I doing something wrong?
What is the best way to report this to Apple as a sync bug, if it is one?

Yes, I've experience the same problem. In addition, when I enter a calendar event in iCal it syncs to the iPhone. When I enter a calendar event in the iPhone it does NOT sync to iCal on my intel based macbook. I've followed the "iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant" to the end without fixing the problem.

Is there any Contact Manager or Address Book that I can install on my PC (Windows 7) that when synced to my Iphone that will accept my custom Lables for type of entry, such as you have- Home, Work, then "Private Line" ?

I am wondering if in fact there is any Contact Manager or Address Book that I can install on my PC running Windows7 that when synced with my 4s that it will retain all my custom lables for phone numbers in Contacts on my iPhone, such as Sandra's Private Line, Cadillac, Bat Phone or what ever?

The issue eventually resolved itself, I still don't really know why. I kept up with Windows update, and attempted downloading iTunes again from the Apple website, and it just... worked. It now works fine. I don't know why it took approximately 4 months to work, though.
I'm sorry I don't have any more helpful information. Posting here was my last resort, and clearly Apple never bothered to reply.

ITunes (unknown error -54) when syncing music to iPhone 4s. Help!

I just got a 64 GB iPhone 4s and I'm having trouble syncing my music library. A few artist into syncing and get an error message saying a certain song could not sync (unknown error -54). Then the rest of my library does not sync to my iPhone. I deleted all the songs that made it into my iPhone and I tried syncing my library again. I got the same unknown error -54 message again but it's another song that won't sync. The funny thing is that the previous song that wouldn't sync made it into my iPhone. Because of that I think it's an iTunes problem and not the file. Please help! Very frustrating!

I stopped using iCloud and started to sync everything to my MacBook Pro. I had also done a restore just to make sure it was being ungunked. Everything works perfectly now. I'm back to using my laptop iTunes for backing up my iPhone 4S

Authorization error when syncing apps from iphone to mac, mac to iphone

I am having this error with both apps I've synced from my iPhone to my Mac, and one I purchased from ITunes (which as a side problem, I can not sync to my iPhone no matter what I try). I have one iTunes account and it is the same on my computer and on my iPhone. However, the one I bought on my mac I can't authorize on my computer, and I can't sync some back because I get this same error message (I have all the latest software on phone and Mac):

The required directory was not found or has a permission error. Correct this permissions problem and try again, or deauthorize this computer if the permissions can not be changed.
Is this just becuase these apps aren't made to USE on a computer? Because that would make sense. I'm just worried it has something to do with the app I purchased on ITunes not syncing back to my iPhone.

I created a new user on my macbook and tried to authorize the computer but got the same authorization error. This doesn't have to do with the fact that I have once used a different iTunes account? (not since I have had the iPhone. I have tried to figure out how to delete this but it looks as if apple doesn't want me to.) Plus, it's the same email as my dot mac which I've ALSO been having trouble with the past few months-- it keeps resetting on its own and my keychain and iphone can't get into it. online chat has not solved the problem so i decided to just let it expire...

Since the recent update to Premier Elements I am unable to use the 'down button' on the slider bar to scroll down to the next image when the image is at full size. I am still able to scroll up.

First, check all your relevant System Preferences.
Scroll bar prefs are in Appearance, mouse behaviour is in Keyboard & Mouse, and finally check the settings in Universal Access also.
If all those check out, are you running a 3rd-party utility that might affect mouse / scroll behaviour? Use Activity Monitor to see everything that is running on your machine.

Too many addresses - unable to scroll down in error message

I composed a message with a couple of hundred addresses to send on gmail. The message bounced back with an error message saying that the email could not be sent with the server. The list of addresses that could not be sent start about 1/4 of the way through the complete list that was on the original message which gives me the impression that the list was simply too long.
I know there are instructions at the foot of the list, but I can't find a way to scroll down to the bottom of the list because it goes off the bottom of the screen. The message no longer shows in drafts or the sent file. When I do a force quit and restart the message comes up in the same format and I'm unable to do anything with it because the instructions are off-screen below.
Any ideas on how to deal with this?
