When terminating firefox it exits back to xp desktop but is still running in task mgr.
When I exit Firefox it goes back to desktop, but if you want to return to firefox I get a message that it is still running and must terminate in task mgr before I can start it back up.

After downloading Firefox 4 Beta, my personal website does not display as it used to. The text is now aligned left when it was centered. Also, when I try to log in to You Tube, everything freezes. When I try to open video files purchased through iTunes in Quicktime, I get the message: 'Error 23132: an unknown error occurred. This never happened until I updated iTunes, but when I try to go back to the previous version, I still get the message. It is more convenient for me to play videos in Quicktime since iTunes is such a memory hog. Please help.
You may get better results if you switch to this alternate version: iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) and, if needed, reinstall QuickTime. The new (nearly) all 64-bit version doesn't seem to play well with QuickTime. Perhaps if DRM authentication is required QuickTime needs to be able to see something that is part of the older 32-bit code.

Anyways, there's still nothing in this thread that actually explicitly says "there is a file called VolcanoApp.java in the directory where I'm running javac from" and I really can't be bothered banging my head against the wall any longer. You've made a silly mistake, or a false assumption. We all do it from time to time. My advice is, take a break, go for a walk and re-visit this in a while. You'll probably spot the mistake right away. -

I have enabled homesharing in iTunes (from the advanced menu) and then used the same details when enabling homesharing on the Apple TV (settings > computers), but I still can't stream my itunes to ATV. Does anyone have suggestions to resolve?

Under the "File" tab, there used to be a place you could click on to close a particular file but not exit Firefox. That tab seems to be gone. I'm sure it's somewhere, but where? Clearly I'm not a tech savvy person but I can understand basic language.

I am using Firefox in a Windows 7 64-bit environment. I have what I feel is a fairly standard set of programs installed. MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Nero Burning ROM, Diskeeper... etc. And I have the latest regular version of Firefox installed, version 3.6.13.
And lately 2, out of 3, times I close Firefox it must not be closing correctly. But I cannot tell until I need to reopen it. Then I get an error message saying that it's already running and I should close the "current instance" of the software. Now I can either start up the task manager and kill it ... or I can restart my computer. And I've done both. But it keeps happening.
