When the photosmart 7520 after long time becomes a printjob, the wireless connection is lost.

My OS is windows 7.
When I switch the printer off and on, then I can print.
Does the printer go in sleep? How can I this shut off.

Alright, in that case I want to try a couple of things. If you print a wireless configuration page you'll be able to locate the IP address for the printer (you can also find it by pressing the wireless icon on the printer). Put this information into the address bar of your web-browser and navigate to the embedded web server (EWS) for the printer.
Then, once you are on this page, you can go to the Networking tab at the top and slect - Wireless IPv4. Here you can set the printer up with a static IP and a DNS location. For the first I would suggest the autofill option, and on the second use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as the locations.
Additionally, follow this link and make sure that your firmware is up-to-date: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=5199463

  • Why does firefox crash when the internet connection is lost?

We have been having trouble with our internet connection recently and firefox crashes whenever the connection is lost, but this didn't used to happen, so I was wondering why this was happening.

If there is any intermittent issues or connection is lost you will revert to the menu, regardless. The 'apps' are fed via server and there is nothing stored on the unit, it simply caches when you are online.
As for the initial wait time. That could be due to ISP throttling, interference, using another DNS

  • After downloading Yosemite, my HP Photosmart D110 printer will no longer work. The wireless connection is fine but says it cannot find my printer when trying to print.

After downloading Yosemite my printer, a HP Photosmart D100 will no longer print. The wireless connection is fine, and a test page printed perfectly directly from my printer. When trying to print from my computer, it says it cannot connect or find the printer. I tried downloading the most updated software from HP website but it doesn't appear to be helping.

    Try resetting the printing system.
OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system
If you have the printers IP address open Terminal (applications/Utilities) and at the prompt type: ping {printerIP}. You will get a reply or failure.

Since upgrading to ios6, all the family's apple devices (new ipad, 2 iphone4 & itouch) are having difficulty reconnecting to the home hub wifi network. I.e, every time the lock screen comes on, the wifi connection is lost when you reopen the device and we have to reconnect through settings. This appears to be an ios6 software issue.
Is there a solution to this wifi connection issue or do we wait for a software fix?
I'd hate to think Apple is going down the Microsoft path, of passing untested software onto the user. What ever happened to Regression Testing, to ensure the existing functionality remains intact?
I bought into the Apple dream, because it was intuitive, reliable & enjoyable to use, all the things that Microsoft windows isn't.
Other issues we are experiencing are, Games are stuttering and the kids really miss the old YouTube app.
Please Mr Browett, sort these issues out.

    Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

However, you can go to the App Store and do a search using YouTube. You can download several YouTube apps: YouTube (for the iPhone, a IPad app is in work), several users  like Jasmine and YouPlayer.

  • After long time i open my ipad ,but showing ipad desactivate what i want to do know, how i can open, after long time i open my ipad ,but showing ipad desactivate what i want to do know, how i can open

after long time i open my iapd, but i canot open, ipad is desactivate, now i can open

I am trying to help you but I want to be sure I understand what is going on. I think that you can't "open" the iPad because you have to enter the PIN for your sim card according to this taken from the web site that I referred you to. If you cannot remember your PIN you will have to contact your carrier for a replacement SIM card.
    COPIED FROM THE WEB SITE....
    Summary
You can lock your SIM card so that it can’t be used without a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You must enter the PIN each time you turn iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi + 3G off and turn it back on again.
    Products Affected
iPhone, iPad, iPhone Activation in iTunes
Note: This information applies only to devices that use a SIM card.
You can enable, disable, or change your SIM PIN in the following locations:
iPhone: Settings > Phone > SIM PIN
    iPad Wi-Fi + 3G: Settings > Cellular Data > SIM PIN
Note: Some carriers provide SIM cards with a default SIM PIN already enabled. Contact your carrier to find out what your default SIM PIN code is.
    Personal Unlocking Key (PUK)
If you enter the PIN incorrectly three times, you may need to enter a Personal Unlocking Key (PUK) to enable your SIM card again. Refer to the SIM card documentation or contact your carrier.
Note: Entering an incorrect PUK code too many times will result in the SIM becoming permanently locked. If this occurs, you will need to contact your carrier for a replacement SIM card.

I am using Glassfish Server v2.1.1 with APEX Listener v1.1.3.243.11.40
The Timeout parameters for JDBC settings in APEX Listener are default. Thus I would expect to abort earlier to be an issue of JDBC Connection?
    Anybody an idea?
    Thanks!

I am using Glassfish Server v2.1.1 with APEX Listener v1.1.3.243.11.40
The Timeout parameters for JDBC settings in APEX Listener are default. Thus I would expect to abort earlier to be an issue of JDBC Connection?
    Anybody an idea?
    Thanks!

When query is taking too long time,Where and how to start tuning it?explain plan will be good start . trace also
Here i've listed few things need to be considered, out of my knowledge and understanding
1.What the sql is waiting for(wait events)When Oracle executes an SQL statement, it is not constantly executing. Sometimes it has to wait for a specific event to happen befor it can proceed.
    Read

2.Parameter modification need to be done at system/session levelDepend on parameter , define parameter , trace done on session level for example
3.The query has to be tuned (using hints )Could be help you but you must know how to use .
4.Gathering/deleting statisticsDo it in non working hours , it will impact on database performance , but its good

I have a first gen iPad, and it will randomly go home from the Internet when I don't press any button.  I have a wireless connection at home.  Is this a known bug?  What can I do?

You maybe running low on memory since you are using the original iPad with iOS 5.1.1 and the iPad is crashing. This may help and it certainly won't hurt.
Quit all apps completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Do this before you launch Safari again. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data. You don't have to clear the history.

To free up hard drive space the best bet is to move data files that you don't need access to all the time. Likely candidates are music, video, and photos. Things like word processing and spreadsheet files can also be moved but they tend not to be very large and so don't free up much space. The problem with moving the above mentioned files is that iTunes and iPhoto need to know where the files are stored.
Here's an article explaining how to move the iTunes folder. You can move the iPhoto library using the Finder but there is a slight complication. Start iPhoto, open the Preferences and click on the Advanced tab. The first option is "Copy items to the iPhoto Library". If this option is checked, copy the iPhoto library to your external folder (drag it from the Pictures folder to your external drive) and then delete it from your Picture folder. If this option is not checked, it is a bit more complicated and we'll need to talk a bit.

    Hello,
this morning I received the following error message when the iPhone connected to iTunes: i
tunes could not check for an update to the carrier settings for your iphone. an unknown error occurred (1635)
    any ideas? thx

I get the same error (although in Dutch ;-)).
It also says something like (I'm translating): "Make sure your network settings are correct and your networkconnection is active or try again later." Is there a way to find out these "correct networksettings"?
I now get it for a week, eacht time I connect my iPhone to itunes...

  • BlackBerry's inability to switch back to EDGE when the WiFi connection loses Internet connectivity

This issue has been driving me crazy for a while now, but here goes:
The city I live in has a poor reception from T-Mobile, AT&T, and other providers.  I have to rely on my home wireless connection sometimes to get emails on my  phone.   So, instead of using "Mobile Network Preferred" option under Connection Preferences, I set it to Wi-Fi Preferred.
However, Wi-Fi preferred option comes at a great cost, with the inability to switch back to the Mobile Network if the connection to the Wi-Fi is lost.
For example, assuming if the phone is connected to a router, based on the following diagram:
Blackberry >>>>> Wireless Router >>>> Modem >>>> Internet Service Provider
If the modem loses connection with the Internet Service Provider, or if the Service Provider is down for maintenance, the BlackBerry will have no knowledage of any of these events, and will stay connected to the wireless router until the wireless reception is lost or degraded to a certain percentage.
So, rather than basing the metric on the reception,  is there a program out there that can send out ping echos to a specified destination?  One ping for every 5 minute interval.  if 3 consecutive pings are lost, the phone should switch back to Mobile Network, assuming if the user did not set their phone to Wi-Fi only.
    Thank you.

Sorry for the problems you're having with this hotspot losing connection so frequently. For you I have included specific troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.
    1. Remove the battery from your phone and leave off for a full minute
    2. Re-insert battery and power phone on
    3. Dial *228 and choose option 2
    4. When the programming has been completed, press OK and your phone will power off, then back on.
    5. Reset your password for your Hotspot
    6. Update the password on your phone as well. This will help avoid any corrupt connection you may have had previously.
To reset the password for your Hotspot: Settings > Wireless and Networks > WiFi Settings > Manage Networks > long press on the network you want to modify > Enter new password
Alternately, you can long press on the network you want to modify and select "Forget this network", then back out and re-join it at which point it'll prompt you for a password.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks,

  • Knowing When the Physical Connection to Oracle is lost....

I am using ODP.Net for Query Notification Change in my application.
I need to know when the physical connection to the oracle is lost.
Scenario is we use cached data, so i have to continuously monitor any changes in table.
But when network connection is lost then no notification is received from oracle.
Even after connection is regained, the previous notifications (i.e. when there was no connection) are lost.
How can i make sure that no notifications are lost????

Here are a few things to check/try:
    1. Does Tuxedo 6.5 work fine on AIX and does Tuxedo 9.0 work on AIX?
    2. Have you checked the RM entries for Oracle and SQL Server on AIX where the issue is happening?
    3. Try rebuilding TMS for RMs
    4. Any errors at Oracle/SQL Server logs
