well, that ***** doesn't it? especially when that number is not a phone number, such as my craiglist posting ID number, which I want to copy and search.
they really should add a "copy" choice in addtion to call and cancel.

Cumulative Percent only displaying when there is a number present

I am using the below cumulative percent formula for a chart and pivot table display (see below code). The problem is that the cumulative percent and cumulative number are only showing up in the pivot table when there is a number to cumulate (see below screenshot).
While this makes sense logically, I would like to see the value in the prior row appear when there is no value to cumulate so that there is always a value displaying for the user--see second screenshot.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

I tried your solution above and it works from the perspective that it can provide the cumulative number and cumulative percent for a column where the values in the column are all present.
However, the column I am using represents exit months from foster care actually. There are different month values in the column: .5,1,2,3,4,5,6,9,12,15,18,21,24..... With the exception of .5 to 6 months, they are in 3 month intervals. For this particular
table, I would like to show only those month values that represent 6 month intervals: 6, 12, 18, 24.....
When I do this, the cumulative number only sums the values for the columns that are present in the table and not all the actual values. This gives a different number and is not correct.
Is there a way to get the above function to aggregate all values of a column even when not all values are displayed in the pivot table?
The function I am using is:
=countrows(s1Perm1)

Need your inputs on reducing the count of cubes when there are more number of cubes in any project.
On which basis we can downsize the count of cubes? For example,if there 30 cubes in same region,I want to reduce them to ,say 20 cubes.

You need to evaluate all of your existing cubes and see if there is any overlap in dimensionality that would allow you to combine cubes. Such as if one is actuals and another cube is budget for the same data, possibly you can combine those. Or as someone else suggested based on Business Units (If the other dimensions allow it. Perhaps conflicting Account or other structures won't allow it. )
However you have to then balance combining cubes against larger cube size which could impact calc time and other performance issues.
Its all a balancing act.
Look at where it makes sense to combine them. Only you know your environment enough to state if they can be combined or not.

Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists
is the problem with
iweb or with hosting?
One Apple tech started to fix Iweb and had to end session and the next said problem with hosting at Network Solutions as it published
to local folder. NWS has checked sttting a few times-
Any help would be extremely appreciated as trying to fix this for about five weeks

Firefox freezes when there are pop up boxes or any box you have to click on to type in information e.g Facebook comments, Firefox About window

I have both the latest Firefox 3.6.12 and Adobe Flash. Firefox will freeze up for no apparent reason. It's most commonly happened when there's a box that needs text information adding into it (like the comments box on Facebook pages) or when a smaller window opens up like the save file/open with box, or even the About Firefox window. When this happens, I cannot enter text into the boxes or close the boxes or Save/Open file. The main browser window stays "greyed out" at the top, like it's inactive and I cannot type into the URL bar. Nor can I close the window, I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to close the program and try again. THe only thing that's changed recently was the updates for both Firefox and Adobe Flash to the latest versions.

I do not have that box checked... so now what?

Cannot change the print margins when printing out my spreadsheet. Tried clicking on format and then Document but when I enter a number I always get " invalid number".

I cannot change the margins when printing out my spreadsheet. I clicked on the format then on document and got a entry box. But everytime I try entering a number to change the left margin ( tried .5 ) I get an " invalid number " response. I can print out the spreadsheet but always get a message telling me the margins may be too small and data may be clipped. Data doesn't get clipped but left part of the spreadsheet is right at the left side of the paper. Want to change the margin so I don't get that message.

Naming the spreadsheet app would do wonders for getting an answer.

Thanks_flags.length should give you the number of arguments passed to the method. It can be treated as if it were an array.

I am testing HLS on-demand service on FMS4.5 using external Apache configuration instead of using built-in Apache server that comes with FMS. Do you know why I got this message on Safari when I visit my local http server? http://localhost/hls-vod/sample2_1000kbps.f4v.m3u8
I checked mime.types file and it says:

it's due to the firewall security settings:
opens sys preferences
go to security
firewall
(authenticate by clicking the padlock at the bottom left corner)
advanced
if you see iTunes in the list, choose "allow incoming connections"
if you do not see iTunes, click on the + choose iTunes from the list and choose "allow incoming connections"
that should do the job

My boss is having a Macbook. When he is typing a web address in safari ( for example www.hotmail.com) he is able to type full url with dot but after pressing enter it's coming like wwwhotmailcom
And it's throwing error. Any help would appreciate.

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

I have fixed row size table in my RTF template.
This table is expanding automatically, when there is more data from database column.
We want the font size should be reduced automatically to fit into this fixed size row, instead of expanding the row automatically.
I am using MS Word 2003, If any inputs really appreciate.

I just tried to fix the row height in the table properties and turned off the allow row to vreak across pages but the row height specification had no effect. You may have to look at some sort of XSL-FO statements but I'm not good on XSL. Still not sure about moving the data across to the next page. The "allow row to break across pages" controls this but I don't see it helping you in a pre printed stationary application.
Do you generate the xml yourself? If so you could look at controlling the size of the element(s) in question and generating the extra lines in the XML rather than trying to do it in the template.

Safari will not quit. Message are you sure you want to send a form again?

I am running an imac with OSX 10.5.8 with Safari Veriosn 5.06(5533.22.3).
I have an RV web Site up and cannot quit Safari. The RV web site does not show the x at the top left but only the - and the +.
There is a Message saying "Are tyou sure you want to send a form again" options are Cancel or Send. I have tried both and the message does not go away.
I have tried to quit Safari by pressing the command and Q Key and also by selecting Safari on the top bar and choosing quit Safari, without any luck.
Have also tried to logout and a shutdown but it comes up with a message "The application Safari canceled logout to try again, quit Safari and choose logout from the Apple Menu." I have tried this with no luck in quiting Safari. I am using Firefox to post this message as my Safari is locked.
Any help would be appreciated in how to gracefully quit Safari without hitting the power button.

1. Key in Command Tab
2. Select the Application
3. Press the following keys at the same time (Command-Option-Esc) and Select Force Quit.

I will try to explain what I mean.
Let say someone asks a question and you are curious at what people may suggest as solutions. The interest could range from simple curiosity to "oh, I don't know how to do that, but would like to learn", or whatever reason that would cause someone to revisit a thread.
But the interest is weak enough that you do not want to subscribe to the discussion. And the topic is not something you want to tag because it is an unusual thread that is unlikely going to re-occur, and you are not sure if you will or will not revisit after a solution is posted or the discussion goes a certain way.
Another example is if the question is interesting, you do not want to mark it because there is no answer / solution yet and you are curious if anyone would ever provide a solution, so you do not want to tag it and a subscription would be useless if no one replies.
OR
Maybe it is a hot topic of the day / week and that's it.. You would not revisit at a later date.
But for the moment, you want to easily find it during the day or have a reminder that you want to revisit the thread ether in the near future or later when someone has provided an answer.
Is there an easy way to mark threads that you want to re-visit? Like a "todo" list, but rather a "to re-visit" list...

Delicious is a website wher you can store URL for later use/retrieval. For every link you add you can add some tags, a description, and you can share them with others.
I'm not using it for the use you have in mind, but it would be an idea. I have set up a special Mouse Gesture in Firefox that creates a delicious entry for the current page.
I use delicious heavily when I am looking on the internet for a solution to a specific problem, what happens during such a search is that you see 20-30 pages that look promising but only 3 are actually on topic. Sometimes it turns out one of the 'not so good pages' are actually googd pages, but 3 days later you don't know exactly the search term you used, or you are on another PC and it's hard to trace back your steps on the WWW. So by using Delicious I can easily create a list of pages on a particular topic.

Do a search in this forum about forgot passcode or phone is disabled because of forgotten passcode.
See how many threads there are for that, now imagine if what you want happens, how many threads do you think we will have about not remember the passcode.
