When to use Infotype 0014 & 0015? what is the differences between them?

When to use Infotype 0014 & 0015? what is the differences between them?

Hello
Infotype 14 is used for recuring payment and deductions
The wagetype to be used for IT0014 is maintained in VV_52D7_B_0014_AL0 ,against the country grouping.
IT0014 is always entered with a start date and end date along with the wagetype and amount /unit relevent for payment/deduction
Say you want to make a special allowance payment to some employee for a period of 6 months only.
So in IT0014,you will enter the wagetype that is maintained for special allowance  with a start date of say 01.10.2011 to 31.03.2012 with amont as Rs.1000.
So when you run payroll for the period october 2011 until march 2012,this amount of Rs.1000 will be paid to the employee
Infotype 15 is used for one time payment or deductions.
The wagetype to be used for IT0015 is maintained in VV_52D7_B_0015_AL0,against the country grouping
IT0015 is always entered with an effective date along with the wagetype and amount/unit relevent for payment deduction.
You want to make performance award pay to employees in the month of march 2012.
You will enter the amount in IT0015 with the effective date as 31.03.2012 for the wagetype as maintained for performance award ,amount say rs.50000.This amount will be caluclated and paid to the employee as a one time payment in march 2012 payroll

  • What are the versions of BW and what is the difference between them

    what are the versions of BW and what is the difference between them

    Hi Reddy,
    SAP BIW 2.0a, 2.0b
                   3.0a, 3.b
                   3.1c
                   3.5  and Now BI 7 are some of the versions.
    Major difference between BW3.5 and BI 7.0 versions:
    1. In Info sets now you can include Infocubes as well.
    2. The Remodeling transaction helps you add new key figure and characteristics and handles historical data as well without much hassle. This is only for info cube.
    3. The BI accelerator (for now only for Infocubes) helps in reducing query run time by almost a factor of 10 - 100. This BI accelerator is a separate box and would cost more.
    4. The monitoring has been improved with a new portal based cockpit. Which means you would need to have an EP guy in ur project for implementing the portal.
    5. Search functionality hass improved!! You can search any object. Not like 3.5
    6. Transformations are in and routines are passé! Yes, you can always revert to the old Tcodes.
    7. The *Data Warehousing Workbench *replaces the Administrator Workbench.
    8. Functional enhancements have been made for the Data Store object:
    New type of Data Store object, Enhanced settings for performance optimization of Data Store objects.
    9. The transformation replaces the transfer and update rules.
    10. New authorization objects have been added
    11.*Remodeling *of Info Providers supports you in Information Lifecycle Management.
    12 the DataSource: There is a new object concept for the DataSource .
    Options for direct access to data have been enhanced.
    From BI, remote activation of Data Sources is possible in SAP source systems.
    13. There are functional changes to the Persistent Staging Area (PSA).
    14. BI supports real-time data acquisition.
    15. SAP BW is now known formally as BI (part of NetWeaver 2004s). It implements the Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW). The new features/ Major differences include:
    a) Renamed ODS as Data Store.
    b) Inclusion of Write-optimized Data Store which does not have any change log and the requests need no activation
    c) Unification of Transfer and Update rules
    d) Introduction of "end routine" and "Expert Routine"
    e) Push of XML data into BI system (into PSA) without Service API or Delta Queue
    f) Introduction of BI accelerator that significantly improves the performance.
    g) Load through PSA has become a must. Info Packages are used to load data upto PSA only.
        You need to create DTP to update data from PSA to Data Target.

    Ram.

  • What's ASO&BSO,what are the differences between them?

    Thanks!

    To have a gist, Essbase comes with two multi-dimensional storage options:
    Block Storage Option, the original storage type for Essbase, which permits the full set of Essbase calculation functionality and stores data accessed by sparse and dense dimensions
    Aggregate Storage Option, a more recent introduction, which stores data in quite a different way to Block Storage and is particularly suited to storing read-only data with high dimensionality.

  • What is the difference between E-Series and Commun...

    Both E-series and Communicators are business phones,then what is the difference between them?
    What is so special that there are two types of smartphones.

    Communcatiors is just a name that nokia used to describe it's larger fold open business phones.
    The last (and still the current) communicator was the E90 which uses the S60 operating system, so it is both an E series and a communicator.  It was also the first (and only) communicator to use S60.
    The long discontinued communicators of the past used a different operating system, S80. S80 and S60 are not cross compatible with each other.
    S80 was dropped in favour of S60 when the E90 launched.  This was a cost saving exercise so that nokia only had one smartphone OS to concentrate resources on.

  • What is the difference between retail version/discs included with computers

    I bought a used iMac G5 that has Leopard installed on it, but no discs were included. I need to reinstall. There are plenty of versions on eBay that are original install discs that came with the computers and they are much less expensive than the retail versions. What is the difference between them? Would discs that came with an Intel Core iBook be totally incompatible with my G5?

    I have the same problem. I have a 1 year old Macbook Pro 15" which came with no discs. I bought a set of OSX 10.5.2 install discs which clearly say for MacBook Pro on the discs. However they do not get any further than selecting English a he main language before they refuse to load further software stating incompatibility. I do not understand why, when both are Mac book Pros and recent ones too. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Hello,
    Here is what Wikipedia states for ActiveX:
    ActiveX is a software framework created by Microsoft that
    adapts its earlier Component Object Model (COM) and Object
    Linking and Embedding (OLE) technologies for content downloaded from a network, particularly in the context of the World
    Wide Web.[1] It
    was introduced in 1996 and is commonly used in its Windows operating system.
    In principle it is not dependent on Microsoft Windows, but in practice, most ActiveX controls require either Microsoft Windows or a Windows emulator. Most also require the client to be running on Intel x86 hardware, because they contain compiled code.<sup
    class="reference" id="cite_ref-2" style="line-height:1;font-size:11.19px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;">[2]</sup>
    Many Microsoft Windows applications — including many of those from Microsoft itself, such as Internet
    Explorer, Microsoft Office, Microsoft
    Visual Studio, and Windows Media Player — use ActiveX controls
    to build their feature-set and also encapsulate their own functionality as ActiveX controls which can then be embedded into other applications. Internet Explorer also allows the embedding of ActiveX controls in web
    pages.
    And for COM:
    Component Object Model (COM) is a binary-interface standard
    for software components introduced by Microsoft in
    1993. It is used to enable inter-process communication and dynamic object creation
    in a large range of programming languages. COM is the basis for several other Microsoft technologies and frameworks,
    including OLE, OLE
    Automation, ActiveX, COM+, DCOM,
    the Windows shell, DirectX, UMDF and Windows
    Runtime.
    Office add-in is an assembly which implement the
    IDTExtensibility2  interface (COM).

  • What's the difference between Routing and Service Callout in ALSB?

    I am puzzled by that.
    what's the difference between them.
    Or what's the situation should use Routing, and that of service callout?

    There is little difference between routing and service callout.
    Routing is symbolizes the transition of request thread to a response thread starts. (in OSB every invocation of proxy is undertaken by different request and response threads ). So by this definition, there can be only one route node in a pipeline.
    Service call out is also used for similar actions as route node , but in pipeline. So service callout can be either in request pipeline (request thread) or in response pipeline (response thread ) . So in a proxy you can have multiple ServiceCallouts but only one route node.
    There are some other slight differences.

  • What's the difference between this and super in this class

    public interface Doggie {
    public void wao();
    public void fetchBall();
    public void run();
    public void sleep();
    public class Kittie {
    public void miao() {
    public void catchRat() {}
    public void run() {}
    public void sleep() {}
    public class KtoD extends Kittie implements Doggie {
    public void wao() {
    this.miao();//here super.miao() will work too,
    //what is the difference between them?
    public void fetchBall() {
    this.catchRat();//here too
    public void run() {
    super.run();
    public void sleep() {
    super.sleep();
    }

    well, just off the top of my head (someone who wants to quote the relevant parts of the JLS can reply here too) - this makes sense, because your KtoD class extends Kittie, which has a miao method. You've not overridden this method, so KtoD's miao method is Kittie's method. Thus, this.miao() and super.miao() refer to the same method. If you had overridden this method in your KtoD class then this.miao() would refer to the overridden miao method, and if you had wanted to call the miao method from Kittie then you would have had to use super.miao()
    Did that answer your question?

  • What is the difference between AirPort Express and AirPort Extreme?

    Hi everybody!
    Here is my question: I'd like to get a portable (Mac of course) and I don't know which type of WiFi base I should buy, Express or Extreme? What is the difference between them?
    Thank you.
    Goldor

    Hello Goldor - sorry you've had to wait!
    The Airport Extreme Base Station and Airport Express are really quite different in what they are intended to do. Airport Express without a base station or modem/router already installed has limited function; it's really an add-on. So if you are starting from scratch you will first of all need a fully functional base station to connect you wirelessly to the internet. Once you have set up your network you can use an Airport Express to add functionality in several ways. The best plan is to visit the online AppleStore and read about the products there.
    However it should be pointed out that you don't HAVE to choose an Airport Express base station, it's only Apple's take on the technology and there are many more around (and a lot cheaper too!). Netgear, Linksys, Buffalo all make popular wireless products which will work happily with the Mac.

  • What's the difference between "Analyze amplitude" and "Analyze Loudness statistics" ?

    This one is in the context of group normalizing and comes with frequency
    compensation.
    > What's the difference between them?
    You use the first if you want to know the average and rms levels of a track.
    I always use a rms window of 300 milliseconds because that was the VU
    integration time of old and because that fits the averaging window of the
    sense of hearing.
    > Because the result of measuring
    > was varied.
    Group normalizing interprets the statistics prior to presenting them, I have
    also wondered why there is not there an option that gives the same result as
    the analyze amplitude tool. Manually adjusting to the average with 300 ms
    rms window generally works better for me and my way of listening than the
    group tool, consequently I miss having the same options available there.
    However you should always remember to listen, because some atypical audio
    needs to be more quiet or slightly louder to sound right in some context.

  • What is the difference between Execute SQL Task and OLE DB Command

    Besides the obvious, Execute SQL Task being used in Control Flow, and
    OLE DB Command being used in Data Flow what is the difference between the two? Is one supposed to use
    Execute SQL Task to produce a result set that then gets handed over to
    Data Flow and OLE DB Command ? Everything that I have seen on
    OLE DB Command is pretty much execution of a Stored Procedure with ? parameters. It seems as though I got to a point where I had to perform my data edits pretty much entirely in a Stored Procedure executed by
    OLE DB Command rather than trying to use the SSIS GUI for everything. I didn't really see in any of my Google searches out there that simply used
    OLE DB Command as a straight parameterized SQL against tables for editing and cleansing purposes and handling returns back from SQL Server for COUNT(*), etc..
    I know I have posted multiple forums out there regarding this issue but I cannot seem to get a straight answer and some solid direction. So for now, my
    Execute SQL Task gives me my editable result set and then control is handed off to
    Data Flow and ultimately to my Stored Procedure executed by an
    OLE DB Command  which pretty much does the chunking for me and performs my data edits and handles my record anomalies through SQL Server Table data stores accordingly or sets flags accordingly if the data passes.
    I welcome your thoughts and Thanks for your review and Thanks in advance for any replies and direction that anyone might provide.

    Hi ITBobbyP,
    OLE DB Command will always process data row by row, whereas Execute SQL task if you call a Stored Procedure it can process data in bulk. As you said, the biggest difference is that Execute SQL Task being used in Control Flow, and OLE DB Command being
    used in Data Flow. They are used in different places.
    Using Execute SQL Task, we can save the rowset returned from a query into a variable. The Execute SQL task can be used in combination with the Foreach Loop and For Loop containers to run multiple SQL statements. These containers implement repeating control
    flows in a package and they can run the Execute SQL task repeatedly. For example, using the Foreach Loop container, a package can enumerate files in a folder and run an Execute SQL task repeatedly to execute the SQL statement stored in each file. I think this
    is a big advantage for Execute SQL Task.
    As to OLE DB Command, we can easily run an SQL statement for each row transformation in a data flow, then directly insert the outputs to a destination.
    To sum up, there are many difference between those two components. We should make better choice based on our actual requirement.

    What is the difference between them? I am not familar with apple products other then the iphone and the ipad

    Extreme has three LAN ports; Express has one (both have one WAN port)
    Extreme has Gigabit Ethernet, Express 100-BaseT - this affects activities such as performing large file transfers or streaming
    Extreme's USB port can be used with an external hard disk, Express can only be used for a USB printer
    Only the Express can stream iTunes music.
    The Express is about $80 cheaper than the Extreme.
